Exceptional service. I sold an apartment whilst being outside the UK and due to the time difference I would often wake to a chasing email from Mark Peppin making sure that everything was progressing efficiently. There were a few non-Hamptons related issues along the way, but Mark and the whole Hamptons team remained professional throughout to ultimately complete the sale in an extremely satisfactory manner.

As a buyer, the assistant manager, Mark, and the manager, Paul, kept me up to date with all new properties that fit my requirements. Importantly, I wasn't passed around the office and dealing with lots of staff who would have to get to know my criteria each time. When I found the property I wanted, my offer was handled extremely well, and throughout the transaction until exchange they worked diligently to ensure my purchase was a success. Sian's excellent and timely communication via emails and telephone helped complete the process smoothly. I had the pleasure of dealing with Mark Peppin. From the first viewing, to showing decorators around whilst the sale was going through he was more than helpful, providing constant updates from the sellers side, to helping move my solicitor forwards when we began reaching impasses. Professional and friendly throughout, had it not been for him, the experience for this first time buyer would have been much more stressful. I cannot commend him enough!

we had arranged to move in to a new property with Hamptons, everything was going fine. the last minute the current tenants of the property we had hoped to move in to fell through, it happens. how ever at that point baring in mind we had signed the tenancy agreement, also considering we had given our notice on our current property. the landlord/ Hamptons should have been liable to sort us out accommodation in that situation. Hamptons came back with a statement saying, they had signed but not dated the contract and therefore were not obligated to help at all. this is the shadiest thing ive ever witnessed. during that phase, where you have given notice and signed new contract, its imperative you are protected by the tenancy contract for situations just like this. if you are going to do business with Hamptons, triple check everything. we had a week to find a new property, we ended up somewhere far less than ideal. I would sincerely recommend not doing business with Hamptons
