Best experience ever! Tommy and his team at Gibbs Gillespie in uxbridge were amazing! Such a friendly team. They made the whole experience of purchasing our new home so smooth and they were very efficient and patient. Dareen was extremely helpful with finishing off all the final parts of the sale. We have had a really bad experience…
We have had a really bad experience with Gibbs Gillespie Pinner on what should have been a very exciting period for us purchasing our first property. We had numerous occasions where we were told that they would be returning our call but never did and we had to again and again chase.Had this been the only issue I would have accepted it however when we did get through or get a phone call returned the agents were rude and made us feel like we were bothering them. Lauren, Danny and Ellie never returned any calls. The only person who was willing to help and was always respectful and polite was Thomas who would return our calls and help us as much as he could.Even when the funds were transferred and the sale complete, when I queried when I could pick up my keys as confirmed by my solicitors, they simply stated that I could not pick them up yet. I then had to go back to my solicitors who contacted the sellers solicitors who were more helpful and confirmed I could collect my keys from them. They made the process more difficult for me and given they were making such a large commission, it is not an agent I would recommend and I will ever use

Very bad agencia
They are a very bad real estate agency. We wanted to rent a house that we talked about and there were certain details to confirm but in a matter of hours they raised the price of the house, what a lack of seriousness and nowadays as the cost of living is crazy and unscrupulous. My question is, do the owners know what they are doing with their properties, why do they have to have a contract and a valuation of the property? Bad performance of the agency.

Very-very disappointed with services. Cant give even 1 star.
Very disappointed with service. We were waiting to receive the keys for new property and on the last point they said landlord had pulled the prop your from market, and they never inform us this before so at least we can start searching another property. Very bad service, please do not trust on their words and do not rely when you buying property from them.
We acknowledge your feedback Jass Kaur. However, we have no record of you or any customer experience matching your account, nor can we verify anything about your identity from your Trustpilot account. Which of our offices were you dealing with? Does your review relate to letting a property or buying one as you refer to both?

My experience with Gibbs has been…Great
My experience with Gibbs has been great, the acted as the middleman between us and a house we were buying in Harefield. We had a fantastic experience throughout the process. First our experience was with Ian who showed us the house, then Matt who handled the offer and negotiations and Luca who took us through the whole process to completion. I have to give Luca a special mention as we were in daily communication. He chased all solicitors including our buyer who was at the bottom of the chain and got the deal over the line. Without him being as proactive and on it, I don't think we would have completed yet. The whole office made this a fantastic experience and I wouldn't hesitate to use them if we look to sell again. Big thanks to everyone involved helping us to secure our dream house.

UNTRUSTWORTHY COMPANY
It has been the most tedious experience using Gibbs Gillespie as an agent to let out our flat. No one ever responds in time, or if there is a response it is filled with empty platitudes and straight out lies. During the rental period, we found they took more than the expected fee and we had to calculate for the last year and inform them of erroneous deductions. After which it took them over 3 months to return the money owed to us. We are now facing unneeded delay in returning the deposit to the tenant, inconveniencing everyone during these troubled times. Their emails are empty of meaning or action and words strung together for the sake of a reply. I would never recommend using this company for lettings or sale.

Caring, Efficient, Responsive
I want to commend Leah Verasammy from the Ealing Broadway office at Gibbs Gillespie and her team of Rohan Berry and Luke Malik for the excellent service they provided to us when we put our house on the market. From the outset they were friendly, helpful, efficient, and responsive. I would particularly like to praise Leah for her incredible communication, listening and negotiating skills. On those inevitable occasions where an issue arose, Leah always managed to find a resolution that satisfied all parties involved. On numerous occasions, she went the extra mile to ensure things progressed as smoothly and speedily as possible. She has a charming and engaging manner, and genuinely cares about her clients. And perhaps best of all, she has a very calming effect on people, which is an extremely valuable asset for this business!

Pinner Lettings - thank you for a swift let
Joseph Mule at the Pinner branch helped us let our flat, he was great to work with and responded to our queries swiftly and professionally. Once the tenant was found he passed us to Molly Greenfield, the Lettings Move Manager, she was very professional and helpful in ensuring the tenancy documents were in place and coordinated with the tenant for a smooth let.Thank you both.
Dear Pp,Customer care is important to us so we really appreciate you taking the time to leave a review and for giving us a 5 star rating! Many thanks, Customer Care Team

Gibbs Gillespie are efficent and on the mark. I had the pleasure of being helped by Lucy Kelly in regard to my cistern and boiler not working properly. They sent a very professional young man called, "George" to help and he fixed everything in just 1 hour and a little bit. They are brilliant!

Rent - Uxbridge branch GG
After a rocky start due to agent not responding to my enquiries when I moved in to the property, and with introduction of app to report any issues I was extremely satisfied with the agency and communication. If there was a problem reported, they always kept me informed what was happening. Professional and friendly agent, that helped me even during the process of moving out.
Dear Zeljka , We are very happy we could provide you with a positive customer experience.Kind regardsCustomer Care Team

Really bad service
Really bad service - do not use these people to let your property. There are so many more with over 4% difference. These people also have no interest in loyalty and length of service. USE ANOTHER AGENT!

Landlords beware
Had such a great experience with Thorghills both as a buyer and landlord however since the sale to Gibbs Gillespie, communication has been poor, service negligent and most recently money deducted from rent illegally followed by no rectification and emails being ignored. Wouldn't recommend and intend to change agents as soon as current tenancy comes to an end.

We had a very positive experience Gibbs, in particular with Luca. He was very on the ball during the crucial stages of both our purchase and sale was keeping us updated almost daily, which really helped given the stressful nature of moving house. It was a long process but Luca helped with all the chasing of parties and regular updates. Thank you, Gibbs & Luca for all your help!

Big thank you to Gibbs Gillespie, Ealing Broadway for helping with the sale of our flat. Particular thanks to to Leah Verasammy for finally getting it over the line after what ended up being a frustratingly drawn out sale and to Rohan and Luke for their excellent service when initially marketing and negotiating on the property. The team were very professional and friendly throughout and I would not hesitate in recommending them.

Terrible service during buying a property. Seller left trash in attic and garden,...but made sure to take thermostat and smoke alarm. I feel estate agent have responsibility to see smooth transition of process till keys are handed.. they ask to come to their office and pick keys and do not care what state house seller has left. I feel that service as unprofessional.

Its been almost three weeks since I signed the contract and the house is yet to be advertise. The house is newly refurbished, vacant and Im just paying the mortgage! I have already given them the solicitors details and no one has even asked for the house keys!
Hello, Ayn. We’ve read through your review and believe there is some confusion, as we have no record of you on our system and our Harrow office is not marketing any "newly refurbished" properties. Maybe this review is for someone else (or, perhaps, another business)? Would you mind calling us at 020 8868 9966 so we can further discuss this experience?

They have worked tirelessly and diligently; completely focused on making sure that everything went smoothly on the sale of my property. I thank them for all the advice and assistance they have afforded me.

Of Mice and Mould
The problems began on a cold Saturday morning on the 12th March 2022. The time was 12:30, I had been waiting over an hour already for the estate agent to show up, I called the office on multiple occasions, but to no avail. As I anxiously stood by, I was forced to make small talk with those also waiting for the flat but as time went on, I was the only one who remained.Hours later I received an email, the viewing was now to be virtual and I, foolishly, accepted. Eventually, I was ‘showed’ around the property and after my 120 second-long ‘tour’ with as much shake and camera blur as The Blair Witch Project; I was asked “Will you take it?”. And I made the biggest mistake of my life, I said yes. But I was desperate and on the verge of having nowhere to stay. When I first arrived at the flat in person, it was clear that I had been had. It had all the amenities of a trap house. The flat contained a single electric ‘radiator’ which, when turned on, smelt like you were transported back in time to a pre-2007 town centre pub. Apparently this was sufficient to heat the entire floor. The flat also contained no boiler, instead there was a giant immersion heater, but I quickly discovered it was cheaper and quicker to boil the kettle every time I wanted hot water. I was glad I made that decision as when I went to investigate why the hot water smelt so rancid, I peered inside the heater to find inches thick of solidified swamp juice ‘filtering’ the water inside. Probably the source of the 1854 cholera outbreak. The flat had several other unusual smells as well. One of these was the stench of sewer gas that often filled the room, coming up from every plug hole due to the Neolithic plumbing the building had. Nothing was ever done about this and sewer gas is noxious at best and deadly at worst. The other issue also smelt like faeces. This was from behind the fridge, and when it was pulled out there were droppings piled higher than at Lowestoft seafront. Then, to top it off, a mouse came running out; which would haunt me till I left, making several holes in the fragile, rubble-packed walls and even made its way out of the ceiling on one occasion. After the hottest summer ever, it eventually did rain. And when it did, it came pouring through the house, dripping every single night. It took weeks for this to get fixed. When I left the property, I was originally given a £240 cleaning bill. I did not have enough money for a deposit initially so I chose the Zero Deposit option (AVOID THIS), I was threatened with debt collection when I disputed the costs, included in this was mould that was behind some furniture, undoubtedly caused by the gaping crack in the ceiling that was not properly fixed. Gibbs Gillespie prey on the financially vulnerable and will fleece you for every penny you have.Avoid them but especially avoid buying or renting Flat B, 484 Chiswick High Road, W4 5TT.

A great team who are a pleasure to deal with
Leah Verasammy, Luke Malik, Rohan Berry and all the team at the Ealing Broadway office of Gibbs Gillespie have been an absolute pleasure to deal with at all times. They are very proactive in getting things done, organising sales visits, following up afterwards, dealing with offers and facilitating the conveyancing process, but at all times they have been polite, friendly and diplomatic and are a credit to their profession. I would not hesitate in recommending them to anyone looking for a great team to help sell their property.

Fantastic Customer Service
It has been a pleasure coordinating with Gibbs during our recent house purchase. Unlike other estate agents, they are always available and communicate frequently, clearly and provide detailed guidance where required. In particular, it was a pleasure working with Lucy and Danielle. For future house purchases and sales, I will be contacting Gibbs first. Thank you for everything so far.
