Great estate agents to purchase with!

The estate agents, especially Thomas and Tom, at the Pinner office helped us all the way from viewings to exchange of contracts for our house purchase and they have been a pleasure to work with! We never felt like they represent just the seller as they were equally helpful, responsive, and diligent with us as buyers. Highly recommend!

I felt like another customer at Gibbs…

I felt like another customer at Gibbs Gillespie. The estate agent was not too friendly, I was just another customer bidding in his list. His approach when showing me the house was not welcoming as compared to the experience I received from other estate agents. He disappeared once offer was made, didn't explain any of the next steps as a first time buyer. The move manager on the other side only contacted when needing my feedback for her vendor and didn't find the need to keep me updated on what's happening on the vendor's side until I ask. Often she would say that she would get back to me, but then two weeks after she would get back when she had another question to satisfy for the vendor's move. I hope that the feedback would help improve the service with new customers. Overall, no issues with them in the process.

Such a friendly and helpful team

Abraham Oommen and his colleagues, Edyta Pruszynska and Sam Collins at the Northfields branch of Gibbs Gillespie, have been nothing but amazing at supporting us through selling our family home and purchasing our next family home. From the first point of contact they were transparent, communicative and helpful. We did suffer from a slightly drawn out exchange process (owing to solicitors) but Abraham worked tirelessly to keep lines of communications open and helping co-ordinate to finalise exchange. As relatively inexperienced operators in house buying and selling it was reassuring to have Abraham and his team a call/email away to discuss anything from pricing strategies and home buyer surveys to small details around fixtures and fittings.We would thoroughly recommend their services to anyone considering buying or selling.

We had our rent increased and stared…

We had our rent increased and stared from 2 of December 2022. This happened in November. The agency didn’t check the contract and they assumed I should have paid the increase from November. The contact states clearly December. So for 50£ they didn’t even bother to contact me first or email me or anything. They went straight to debt collectors. And because their mistake now my credit score it’s ruined. That for 50£ and because they are to lazy to pick up the damn phone and ask kindly, mr x you have paid 50£ less for rent, do we have any issues? Why is the reason? Can you pay or we will call debt collectors… we’re disappointed with them.

Gibbs Gillespie is an agent that I would never like to use again and I would not recommend anyone to use them.Its already 2 months since my tenancy agreement has finished and check out inventory has been completed with very minor issues(& this is After 8 hrs of tenancy.. ).I keep asking my deposit back and they do not reply my emails,they do not return my calls and they still have not charged me for anything..really ridiculous and totally unprofessional..

David Hewinson and his team at the Uxbridge branch have been absolutely.brilliant from start to now. They have achieved in one week (getting our property under offer even before it was advertised) what the other estate agent could not do in twelve weeks. Well done David and your team!
