I’ve recently moved in to Elephant Central with Get Living and I’m so impressed with the apartment, facilities and management. As two young professionals renting for the first time, we got in touch with Samuel Watts who has been incredible, helping us through the entire process and answering any questions we have, however small or silly they may be. Sam has always been patient and helped work with us to find our dream home, and it never felt like anything was pressured. Special shoutouts also go to Kristian (who held our move in appointment), Sara (who has been really helpful with maintenance issues), Stella (who is also very welcoming at the concierge) and the maintenance man (whose name I can’t remember but has been very friendly!). The apartment itself is amazing - everything feels fresh and new. It feels like a really slick operation, from basic concierge functions like receiving mail etc all the way up to helping redecorate. Nothing is ever too big an ask and the team are always willing to help if needed. We’ve only been in the flat 2 weeks but there’s nothing more we could have wished for - we can’t wait to spent (at least!) the next year in our lovely new flat with Get Living.

After a long six hour flight, I was greeted very nicely by the receptionist at the concierge. After that, I was given a lovely tour by Ashley Thompson, who was super friendly and an absolute delight to meet. He took me on a tour around the third floor and helped me settle in my new apartment. I’m looking forward to starting my studies in my new home.

Avoid this company at all cost

Avoid this company at all cost. Terrible customer service, they don't care about the tenants after they sign an agreement, only care about getting the most money with least care. Portland Place is a joke, the people working there are a joke too. Avoid. Great area to live in, but avoid GetLiving.

Moved in Jan 2021 and we are loving it. Compared to all the flats we looked at elsewhere, this is by far the best quality, location and they allow dogs. Service from the staff has been exemplary, from the reception, liaison and repair teams. They have been attentive to our needs. Location wise, it speaks for itself, close to GYMBOX, food places and the park all at the door step. Apartment we have is in the 19th floor in Tantallon house with great views. Spacious, with study and a kitchen island. Thanks again to all the staff for making us feel at home.

Update - after living here for many months now - although everyone is (or seems) lovely and makes your move in a wonderful experience - no matter how much you kindly ask for things to be done (e.g. communal areas cleaned) - it lands on deaf ears and nothing happens - if it does - it’s months too late. Many residents are leaving or looking for other options because of this. Hugely upsetting as many of those residents are a wonderful part of the community. Huge shout out to the amazing concierges, they seems to be the only staff members here who really care. 😔 original review: Couldn’t be happier with our experience so far. Samuel, Sara and Kimberly have all been so helpful and supportive with everything related to our move and we’re thrilled to be a part of the Get Living Community.

My husband and I recently relocated from South Africa and had no place to call home. We were living in temporary accommodation so we had little time to find a place. We were looking for something specific and that met all our requirements which made us extra nervous as we weren't sure if we could find anything on such short notice. We met Cordelia Lynch on a Friday and she sold us a dream! By Tuesday the next week our lease was signed and we were ready to move into our new home. She made the process so seamless for us and took away all our doubt and anxiety that we had. Cordelia I wish all agents were like you. You are such sunshine! Very slow , never phone back , long drawn out process. Make you pay holding deposit, dont accept savings or foreign assets or income as part of overall income. Dont accept references from people with good income. Lie in emails confirming no guarantor needed, then fail to retract this formally and say guarantor needed. Dont offer 12 month contracts on their system. Complete waste of time and mislead by Rose Rodriguez in particular

Lived in Mawes House for 2 years, recently left to relocate internationally. Fantastic place to rent - great team that respond quickly, and the building is only a few years old; never had a maintenance issue. Of particular note is how well insulated the building is with minimal heater use during winter months, and the strong soundproofing despite having a window down to the rail line.
