My experience with Foxtons has been nothing short of disappointing, particularly when it comes to addressing maintenance issues in the property they manage. The breaking point came when a door in my rented property became dysfunctional, and Foxtons showed no urgency or willingness to resolve the issue.Despite reporting the broken door promptly, Foxtons failed to take any meaningful action. It's baffling how a seemingly simple problem could be so grossly mishandled. Their lack of responsiveness and negligence in attending to basic maintenance concerns is simply unacceptable.What's even more frustrating is the complete lack of communication from their end. It's as if they hoped the problem would magically disappear if they ignored it for long enough. Well, surprise, surprise, it didn't. Instead, I was left to deal with the inconvenience and discomfort of living with a malfunctioning door, all while Foxtons turned a blind eye to the issue.To make matters worse, attempts to follow up and escalate the matter were met with indifference and excuses. It's abundantly clear that Foxtons prioritizes profit over the well-being and satisfaction of their tenants. Their lack of accountability and failure to fulfill their responsibilities as property managers is utterly appalling.In conclusion, if you're considering renting a property managed by Foxtons, I strongly urge you to think twice. Don't subject yourself to the frustration and inconvenience of dealing with a company that couldn't care less about the state of their properties or the satisfaction of their tenants. Look elsewhere for a more competent and reliable estate agent.

To her credit, Ashleigh returned my deposit in full after a 5 year tenancy with very little quibble.My estate agent was transferred to Foxtons mid-tenancy so I didn’t choose to rent with them. Four stars is only because I couldn’t get access to the online portal to report maintenance issues, and things I raised during the inspections went unresolved, so I ended up paying out of pocket to fix anything broken. I would maybe blame the original agent for that more than Foxtons. Ultimately it was a small price to pay for a peaceful tenancy, and to not have my rent increased for four years in central London.

Foxtons was handling the sale of my flat and this is the second flat this company was trusted to take over, find me a buyer and complete successfully a good sale while other agents had failed to do so. But without the assistance of Ms Beatrice Rooney who is an excellent sales Negotiator at the west end Foxtons office in London, the sale wouldn't have been so successful. I would like to specifically express my gratitude to Beatrice Rooney for her high level of professionalism, patience and resilience in successfully completing this sale which was quite a difficult case due to the complicated and difficult to deal with freeholders and buyers.

Foxton's deceitful rent negotiator

Foxton's rent negotiator (Guilford Branch) informed our landlord that we had terminated our tenancy and began marketing the property. We had not passed any such communication to them in any manner and we have a full email trail as evidence of this fact. When we complained to our landlord, he assured us he was not informed of our communications with Foxton's and was sympathetic to our situation. Due to their harassment and disregard for our rights, I will never engage Foxton's services for any reason and may even consider reporting the issue to relevant authorities.

Do not Rent from them The property management team are negligent, they are liars, they do not care about the tenant. Property managers do not attend the property - Jan Taylor, no matter how many times you ask them. At the end of the tenancy they allow the landlord to keep any money owed to you,They send an email & call saying the landlord will support early termination of your contract when they are trying to make you leave your tenancy early - and when you do leave they allow the landlord to keep all the rents you have payed into the foxtons account, and do nothing about it - so you will have to take your own legal action to get money owed back They use contractors who are useless, and cost the landlord double, one contractor told me foxtons give him the other contractors quotes.No heating for 11 monthsExcess draughts for 14 months - never fixedBreached ‘fitness for habitation act’ The rental team lie - Sofia ReissThe inventories are wrong - and are not in the tenants favour - Storm Inventories - Mark Lazarus, and they are not amended when proof is sent to prove their errors.Do not rent

Amazing Annabelle

I just want to call out Annabelle Smith for being an absolute superstar. After 10 years in our rental property we have needed help with some pretty substantial maintenance issues, especially as our previous managing agents were totally disinterested and nothing ever got done, so stuff that needed repair was really piling up. Annabelle has taken on helping us sort several different issues, including some big projects, such as renovating our very dated and leaky bathrooms. Throughout our experience, she has been incredibly communicative, attentive, kind, caring and most importantly, super efficient! We are genuinely sad to hear she is leaving and any employer or customer she works with in future will be lucky! If everyone could 'be more Annabelle' the world would be a much better place :)

Very doggy Agency! If you are renting from Foxton, be careful!!!My experience renting from them is awful and will not work with them again.They are very unprofessional, be careful about the terms in the tenancy agreement. Check for early termination clause, and also they don't send a copy of signed contract, they keep it on their portal, and I have found out they have changed the terms during my tenancy. I'm going to peruse that with legal parties.
