Recent experience at flexliving

I recently used the service of Flex Living to rent out an extra apartment I had, and I have nothing to say but good news from the beginning till the end. The process went as smoothly as possible thanks to the professional mates who explained every concern I had. They kept me updated on how the rental services were doing!Their corporate clients have never been a problem. They keep the flat clean and tidy. Never experienced a party from them, and my neighbours only gave favourable remarks.I was impressed by the quality of the service provided by Flex Living, and I recommend it to everyone wondering whether they should use Flex Living due to the flawless service and the countless benefits.

My experience with Flex Living was through an online letting agency where I found a flat they manage. I made an offer, gave a holding deposit and awaited 10 days for Flex Living to return with any communication. First, given that they claim on their website that they eliminate the constraints of traditional renting models, I think the time to response is entirely too long. Second, since they also state on their website that one of their values is integrity, I should share that the managing representative of the property, with whom I spoke, said several demeaning and inaccurate things about my immigration status which he said is what led to the type of contract they issued. As this information was untrue, either it shows a severe bias or exploitative behavior - either way the terms of the contract were unfair, did not reflect what they accepted initially in my rental offer and I didn't follow through with renting. Consequently have lost my holding deposit. I would advise anybody looking to rent in London to look elsewhere.

One scam of a company. Booked via VRBO, was moved from my original booking to an absolutely awful flat 2 days before my stay. Springy mattress, broken light switches (and thus a dark bathroom), stains on the couch, non-functional TV were all part of my £120/night experience. I was told that they couldn’t move me to another place, that I couldn’t get a refund and should I wish to accept their £100 compensation offer, I’d have to sign an agreement to not leave a review. Shame on you! I live in London so I can put this experience aside but for everyone else visiting you would ruin their trip.

We stay in their apartment for 2 weeks and found out their washing machine is broken. They asking to use the Laundry heap service and promised will full refund all the relevant charges. After the trip, we chased them for 4 times with all the receipts and related information , yet they just keep apologizing but refund was never made ! Poor service !

Lovely and cosy English terrace, very close to metro, shops and restaurants. Superb spot for our family to explore London. Sarah, the host, response times were also excellent. BYO tea, coffee, salt, pepper and sugar which was unusual. We bought some and left in cupboard for next visitors.

Strongly recommend to stay away

I echo the previous comments and probably had the worst experience I have ever had with renting a property. In addition to what is in the other comments, £800 worth of my stuff (new shoes, a robot vacuum cleaner, a Bose Bluetooth speaker to name a few) was “thrown away” by them without warning after they indicated they will look into keeping it for me. It is beyond me how companies like this are allowed to operate in 2022. This was flagged to the general manager, and all I received was an apology and that it was harsh of them to throw it away.
