flex living is cheating. The homepage looks very nice, but in reality everything is absolutely terrible. My key wasn't at the pickup point and no one could help me. I had to spend two nights in the hotel before I had a key. I haven't received the money for the hotel yet (after more than three months)!!! The apartment I finally got was dirty and old, not what I booked and paid for!!! NEVER AGAIN

We stayed in this apartment in Brixton and I can say right away: I've stayed at airbnbs, hotels, booking.com venues but this is by far the best stay, the best host I've ever had. The support by Jonathan, the direct response. The clean apartment, heating works perfectly, it is quiet and even the wifi works ;-).

The shady behaviour by Flex Living continues - as well as evidently having a business plan that relies on putting people into properties that they haven’t booked (how many flooded properties can one company have?!), they have also advertised reviews from people who aren’t genuine users (I found Tulsi and Francesca, who they state have given them 5* reviews on their website, on LinkedIn - they’d never heard of Flex Living and had different job titles to the ones referenced). They also hound people who’ve given them negative reviews through the Trust Pilot integrity scheme. It’s been a year since my original post and I’m still getting repeated requests from Trust Pilot to confirm that I really meant to review Flex Living. Unless you give a prompt confirmation, your review is deleted. I imagine they’re getting rid of negative reviews in this way, since lots of people will miss the email or stop responding after multiple requests from Trust Pilot. Stay away!

TrustpilotAbsolutely terrible customer service
Flex Living is not interested in customer service, their good reviews come from Landlords who sublet to them who are glad to have their properties taken over and rent collected. They cancelled two days from my booking due to a pipe leak, I realize now that this is a lie and tactic of theirs in order to make accommodations for other bookings, as they shift you around between properties, I was shifted twice before they came up with the leak lie. They do not care that they have left us with no place to stay for two days and have to shuffle around everything because of it. They also did not arrange the garage keys so I had to go back to the station to collect which is very inconvenient. Then the key did not work so I had no where to park the car for a week, that is how long it took them to sort the key out. Meanwhile they respond slowly or not at all as all communication is via whatsapp messaging, they say they cannot receive whatsapp calls which is a ridiculous lie, so there is really no one to help. These people are disgusting and I will never stay at another Flex Living property and highly recommend that no one else does either.

Don’t trust them, we booked through Booking.com two months prior to our visit to London, and only 4 days before our departure they contacted us and mentioned that the property that we booked (The Waterloo Apartments) has a leak in the bathroom and they give us an alternative closed by, and only few hours before our flight they contacted us and mentioned that it is not available any more and the only option is to take one apartment in Morden (upgraded as per them) which is 1hour drive from London (compared to Waterloo which is in the centre of London).. our booking in Booking.com was cancelled with no reason and when we contacted them they mentioned that they will refund the money to us and we need to book directly with Flex Living, which what we did, other wise we will have no place to stay when we reach to London. We stayed 14 days in London spending two hours every day commuting to the center of London. I could see from some other reviews that the same thing happened to them which means it is not a coincident and they are doing this always. and by cancelling the booking in Booking.com we have no way to evaluate them or put our comments in Booking.com which explains why their review rating in Booking.com is always high.

As experienced landlord I had very bad experience in past letting trough the agency’s and directly with tenants. Flex Living finally gave me a peace of mind. I let my flat a year ago (they and I have not received a SINGLE call from them regarding the flat!We sign 3 years tenancy and no single payment has been delayed!So basically all i have to do is to hand them the keys of the property and they will take care of everything else , literally everything , including cleaning and maintenance. I visit property as I wanted to make sure everything is alright and I found it in even better condition than it was. They decorated the flat and even they furnished the property which will be left to me at the end of tenancy (i truly hope will never end ). Hard to believe I know but it’s reality!!! So dear landlords please do not hesitate and even think for the second as I promise you , you won’t regret!Thank you Flex Living 😘

What they advertise doesn’t reflect the reality. In fact, they use the same photos across multiple properties on their website. We were told the place had a flood which needed fixing so we couldn’t move in which is fair. What wasn’t, was the lack of communications after that. We showed up the next day (as told to) and waited around to then be told it wouldn’t be ready for another two days. We contacted them again repeatedly trying to get an answer and were eventually told that it still wasn’t ready. Lucky we had already booked a hotel just in case. They sent us to the wrong place to get the keys and then when we showed up we saw the accommodation was nothing like the pictures. The room we were allocated in the shared flat was also already occupied. We lost money because of time we had to take off work finding alternative accommodation (it’s hard to find in London during summer!) and dragging our luggage around with us.

GoogleFor a family trip booked two months in advance, they cancelled my reservation four days before departure without offering any solution or compensation. Communication with customer service was extremely poor, and the refund process was very slow! This company is completely unreliable. STAY AWAY!

I have been using letting agents for the past 5 years, and they've consistently employed tactics and hidden fees, with a slow responsiveness and a lack of professionalism. But then I stumbled upon this company! Unlike other estate agents, they never spring hidden charges on me; instead, they offer a comprehensive package that includes all maintenance and cleaning services. I've been using their services for a year now, and I must say, I wish I had discovered them ages ago!
