As a landlord - beware.
As a landlord, I wish I had never got with Flex Liviing. It has become a Living nightmare. These are not people who operate with any ethical standards. Beware.

Clean and tidy flat, dodgy provider
Clean and tidy flat. Easy to find and access because of the instructions. No issues during the stay. Update: after the stay I was told that I would receive my security deposit within 10 working days which has not happened. It is a nightmare trying to chase this down

Inflexible Living
Flexy is just the name because flexibility has nothing do to with this place, not even sympathy. The name should be "The Inflexibles."

Scam artists, DO NOT STAY WITH THEM
Do not recommend staying here. Flex Living is a scammer. I arrived at the apartment and the washing machine was broken, which was the main reason I booked the Airbnb, so I wouldn’t have to run around to clean my clothes as I was staying with work for a month. The host was extremely slow to fix it and it took 10 days and a lot of me chasing to get it fixed. While this was happening I had to pay for laundry, then chase the host for two weeks to get reimbursed for that! Also, when I arrived the duvet was dirty and the freezer inner door was missing- didn’t think anything of these issues because the freezer still worked and I had a duvet cover I brought with me. I don’t like to sleep on other people’s sheets, I just don’t trust them. Thank god I did! Then upon checking out, the host then blamed me for the pre existing issues and tried to charge me £150 (duvet is from Asda/primark maximum £13 and he’s claiming £50). Absolute scam. Do not waste your money for a subpar experience and a horrible after taste. They used a template message that is clearly designed for all guests post stay to try their luck and receive extra money from you or Airbnb

Disappointing experience with Flex Living
Unfortunately, our stay with Flex Living was very disappointing. We had several issues with our apartment, and instead of receiving proper support, most responses came from what seemed to be AI-generated messages that did not actually address our concerns.

Apartment location is good and size ideal. Sarah was helpful. Just one suggestion. Late checkout was only till 12pm despite for a fee. If you may push it to 4pm that would be great.

0 stars if possible.
We are landlords and our flat has been out of contract for over 6 months, yet The Flex Living have refused to return our property. We are now having to take legal action simply to get our own flat back.

Good and safe neighborhood
I stayed for 19 days in Pine house. Location was so comfortable. There is Tesco express just 1 mins walk. Station is near. Our host Linda was really responsive. She managed to bring us everything we need.

Scandal Hub - Beware!!!
My previous post seem to have been brought down.Reposting it again!!!Booked through booking.com, they messaged be to cancel the booking.com and they will give an additional 10% discount if booked through them. They advertised the unit to have an elevator access. We got instructions the day before traveling, stating that the unit is on the 4th floor and the elevator access reaches only the 3rd floor. Discussed with them this issue that I have 3 children below the ages of 3 and to take them up and down the stairs is a hassle, what they offered was either a property with a similar condition with the elevator access or a location that is over 40min by car. We thought we would manage with the stairs. Upon arrival we discovered that the place is very shady, in fact the elevator was on the 1st floor not ground floor and it was not functioning as the attending technician said its not working for days, also confirmed by the residents that passed by. Not to mention that the elevator only fits one person. Escalated this matter to useless customer service who are scammer lowlifes and they refused to assist. Eventually they said return the key and we will try to refund. I returned the keys (not staying) and after that they refused to refund the 8 night reservation made. Noting that i was stranded with my family and was extremely difficult to find accommodation on short notice and considering the number of occupants. Never again. I hope everyone sees this and avoids the heartache!Date of experience: 10 May 2024, -Further to my previous review, I wish to elaborate on the additional misleading practices that exacerbated our negative experience with Flex Living during our intended stay from May 10th to May 18th, 2024. Initially drawn by the advertised essential elevator access for my family including two infants and a toddler, we quickly found ourselves grossly misled about both the facilities and the condition of the property. After paying approximately £1700, instructions provided revealed the elevator only serviced up to the third floor, with the unit on the fourth and only capable of holding one person at a time. Upon discovering this, I immediately communicated our critical need for proper elevator access. The alternative accommodations offered were utterly inadequate, one was a basement unit with no elevator access, and another was inconveniently far from our needed location. Despite expressing significant concerns, the property manager assured us that our accommodation needs would be met upon arrival. However, upon arrival, we discovered the elevator was completely non-functional, a fact that had been known for some time, as confirmed by both a technician and other residents but never communicated to us. This left the property utterly inaccessible. Further compounding our frustration was that the photos displayed online did not accurately portray the real setting of the property, misleading us further.Forced to return the keys immediately and incur an additional £2900 in expenses for last-minute accommodations, I raised these issues with Flex Living. In response, they offered a mere 25% refund and requested that I remove my initial negative review. Their exact words were: "As a token of our sincere apology, we would like to offer you a 25% refund on your recent purchase. In return, we kindly request that you consider removing your recent review and signing a termination agreement." This response is not only insufficient but also insulting, considering the significant inconvenience and financial burden caused by their negligence.I strongly advise against booking with Flex Living. Their false advertising, misleading photos, failure to communicate significant facility issues, and inadequate resolution efforts highlight a company that lacks integrity and respect for its customers. Such disregard for genuine customer service and accountability is profoundly disappointing and should serve as a caution to anyone considering their services.

Top experience
The apartment I stayed in was amazing, so bright and spacious, close to the center where we had coffee shops and supermarkets. Perfect for a short vacation! Check-in and check-out instructions were very clear from the beginning, and the whole experience was just smooth. Highly recommend!

The best service by Lokmane
The apparment is amazing it feels like you are at home. It is spacious and very clean. The location is in a safe area and with short walking distance to supermarkets and basically everything you need. Lokmane greeted us at the arrival and escorted us to the appartment. He is very polite and professional. He is always ready to assist us if we have any questions or need help with something and followed up if everything was okey. Love it and will always choose flexy living in the future and recommend it to others as well. Thank you for a wonderful stay ❤️

Landlords, BEWARE!
After very convincing communication from the founders, the apartments and contracts went into shambles. I would urge any individual landlords to avoid entrusting their homes to this company, as over the years, you might experience:- unpaid bills (bailiffs visit to recover debts)- denial of access (arranged in writing for a company to evaluate state of apartment and get key, only for them to wait over an hour for access and receive no key. Upon previous exit they refused to handover key over 7 days after arranged date)- poor property management (mildew, mould, moss: one of their tenants reached out to me personally, asking me to help or intervene. After their departure, next permanent tenants first complaint was for mould and even moss being left to grow, raising questions as to how their professional or thorough was the promised regular cleaning)- and most blatantly, they will even refuse to vacate or handover keys, now repeatedly and ignore calls and conversations All of these incidents are documented and witnessed

Avoid at all costs
Our experience with Flex Living was a nightmare from start to finish. When our originally booked property became unavailable, we reluctantly agreed to stay in a temporary apartment for the first two weeks. This turned out to be a huge mistake. The apartment was cramped, over an hour away from our intended location, and plagued by unpleasant odors and constant noise.Once we finally moved into the property we had initially booked, it was immediately clear that the online photos had been grossly misleading. The place was far more rundown than advertised, the couch was stained, the TV was subpar, and the sink was completely clogged. Despite multiple complaints, it took several days for anyone to respond, and even then, the maintenance person only showed up begrudgingly.Adding to the frustration, we were expecting important mail but never received the keys to the letterbox, despite contacting customer service over five times. This negligence disrupted our plans and added unnecessary stress to an already difficult situation. When we checked out, we were told our £2,700 deposit would be returned within a few days and were even asked to leave a positive review, unbelievable. Shortly after, we were informed via WhatsApp that £1,200 would be deducted for trivial and unfounded reasons, such as pencil marks, a mistakenly taken duvet, and a couch stain that had been there when we moved in (for which we have photographic evidence). After posting a negative review, Flex Living threatened to deduct even more for "legal compensation," prompting us to remove the review. Only when we provided photographic proof of the couch’s condition did they return £2,000 of our deposit, but we are still owed the remaining £700. They never provided any damage report or explanation to justify the deduction.Despite involving lawyers, we were unable to recover the full deposit due to the “License to Occupy” contract we had signed (a word of caution: never sign this type of agreement with Flex Living). As young newcomers to the country, we were completely taken advantage of.Flex Living's business model is deeply flawed, cutting corners at the expense of tenants and their living conditions to ensure they can pay landlords a guaranteed fee. This approach results in poor maintenance, substandard accommodations, and leaves tenants facing constant battles over basic services and deposit refunds.Flex Living's treatment of us, their appalling customer service, and their blatant attempt to scam us out of our deposit is disgraceful. This company prioritizes profits over tenant satisfaction, creating a stressful and deeply unpleasant experience for anyone unfortunate enough to rent from them. Avoid Flex Living at all costs.

The apartment is good
A thief company that takes people's money unjustly, and their apartment is not worth the amount paid. They stole 200 pounds from me without any right, and without telling me why the deduction was made. They are truly criminals., but it lacks curtains. In fact, I only used the kettle and microwave in the kitchen. I was very annoyed by the fact that Booking did not disclose the amount of the security deposit, which made me feel embarrassed. The apartment is generally good, but far from the center.
