GoogleDo not go through First Union for rentals. My experience with them upon leaving my apartment is horrific. They support a particular landlord knowing full well that he rips tenants off each time they move out. Keeping their full deposit with no grounds whatsoever and even asking for up to more than double their deposit! They are aware that he does this and they do nothing to stop it from happening. Be very wary before you rent a property from these agents they do not support any kind of duty of care to their tenants.
Once again I can only reiterate what I have replied to your letter. Unfortunately we do not manage this property and we do not deal with the deposit deductions at the end of the tenancy. Your deductions should be as a result of comments in the check out report and I suggest you take this up with the landlord as we do not have any input or control over this. I am genuinely very sorry that this experience has tainted your view of First Union however the situation you are in is unfortunately completely out of our hands.

GoogleI've been working with First Union for 20 years!! I bought from them and they manage rentals for me also. They are hands down, the BEST. I've worked with other, well known estate agents in north London and there's simply NO comparison. The staff is knowledgable, helpful, stay with the company for years and a pleasure to work with. Since 2014 I live abroad and they have managed from complete kitchen renovations to simple electrical certificates in the same quality and ease as if I was there. In short... Flat in Walthamstow, even though advertised wasn't available for veiwing for over a month of constant inquiring.All sorts of excuses why I was unable to veiw, from landlord unavailable to property key can't be located etc.I needed a place urgently at the time so was very frustrating waiting.... And as it turns out waiting in vain.Eventually property was no longer available.... (even when still being advertised) predictable.... lol😡

GoogleThe agency was very helpful from the start, made the move and set up of all the utility providers really easy, really helped out a lot regarding removal of some furniture from the flat and replacing some old one. Any time we need anything they reply really fast and provide all the information we ask for so we are very happy that we chose First Union Estate Agency!

GoogleI rented an apartment managed by first union (Battersea branch) for over 3 years and during that time they have been very accommodating. Any queries we had were answered right away and issues with broken appliances were fixed without hesitation. Jessica who was our main contact was brilliant! I would definitely recommend using First Union as they are the best estate agent I have experienced so far!
