GoogleAVOID THIS BRANCH AT ALL COSTS. One agent in particular, Neelay Jivan, has sub-standard professional behaviour - much to the detriment of this branch and business as a whole. The agency knowingly misrepresented a property by including a storage space in the property description and floor plan whilst it was not part of the lease. This was followed by attempts to get buyers to agree to exchanging contracts, based on false assurances and blatant lies. In addition to that, he made promises which won’t be kept, such as reassuring buyers they’ll be able to view the property between exchange and completion. Shameful handling of what should be a pleasant experience and what resulted in a distorted relationship and unnecessary friction between sellers and buyers.

GoogleEfficient service received from Alexander Wheelock-Lines and Alexander Fletcher in securing a buyer for my flat within a month. They kept me informed all the time from offer to exchange to completion. My only dis-satisfaction is FJLord's refusal to lower their higher than industry average commission. As fate would have it, I received a matching offer from another agent (who was charging a lot less) a week after I accepted FJLord's offer. So it was painful to pay more than I had to because I had given my word.

GoogleThis has been the worst agent we ever used! We rented a flat in the centre of London for a year and had problems with this agency from the start till the end. One of the major things was the fact that the agency deducted a professional cleaning and inventory fee from us. We paid and then demanded a receipt because the flat was dirty when we took it. But only after asking, the agent told us that there was "a last minute change" and that the landlord was supposed to conduct a cleaning and an inventory (which of course cost nothing), the agent gave us back our money, meaning that if we would have been less cautious the agent would have taken money from us without any service! Furthermore, the agent we were in contact with, a man known as Quintus, knew very little about the flat. Questions about EPC rating, water supply, use of the kitchen equipment and even sqm size of the flat were left unanswered. Only once our tenancy started we realised we would have to freeze through the winter because the windows were literally just two wooden panes that had a 5 mm gap in between them that was only visible when you stood on a chair and looked down. Also the bathroom pipes were later found to be made of lead which is against EU regulations for safe housing. Even after we left the flat, the agency forwarded us the electricity bill of the three months 'after' we left the flat which was more than the bill of the entire year and that although we know from the landlord that nobody has lived there in these months! Only with the landlord's help who also said he will never use this agency again we could solve the issue. Very dubious and definitely not recommended!

GoogleHamead Chioua, the Assistant Branch Manager, ensured I had a great experience buying my first place in London. He was quick to pick up on my tastes and brought me to several extra viewings - one of which became my final purchase. I don't have much opportunity to talk on the phone, so Hamead took the time to communicate with me via email. He's taken most of the stress out of negotiating and closing. He's relaxed and has an easy sense of humour. Highly recommended!
