GoogleI had a fantastic experience with J Lord Bow Letting. The entire process of moving into my new flat was smooth and hassle-free. Ilya was very helpful and responded quickly to all of my concerns. Although there was a short delay with the move-in date due to a missing energy certificate, the firm handled the situation efficiently and ensured it was resolved quickly. Their professionalism and dedication to making the process as seamless as possible were much appreciated. I highly recommend them for their excellent service.

I had my questions and concerns addressed outside of his business hours and even on public holidays. I must say I haven’t dealt with a more professional agent before, so this was a pleasant surprise. GoogleHave used FJLord to let and manage my apartment for over 10 years now. They have made the entire process - handling multiple tenants over the years, and the occasional maintenance issue - practically effortless for me, and worry and hassle free. Most recently Dylan Pitter has been taking point with releasing old tenants from their lease and helping me with a new back-to-back tenancy, involving quite a few maintenance issues that needed doing immediately. He was incredibly attentive and helpful, and continues to be so. Highly recommend!

GoogleWe have just undertaken to extend the lease on a property in London for a further year. Felicity Lords is the agent we used to procure the property 5 years ago. To extend into a sixth year we were guided by Dylan Pitter a property manager at the South Quay branch. Courteous , professional service was received to a high degree and to a successful completion of an agreed extension.All controlled in 8 days from start to finish . Excellent customer satisfaction.

GoogleWorked with Ilya from the FJ Lord Bow branch and it's been an absolute pleasure. It's quite rare to meet people in this space who actually treat customers in a respectful and professional way. I'd highly recommend anyone to work with Ilya! EDIT: tried to scam me into paying more than £2k in damage they couldn’t prove after I had moved out. Thankfully, the independent review with flatfair showed that they had no proofs of the work carried to do any repair. Tip: don’t let yourself pressured by the EA on the platform, wait for an independent review :) and avoid these EAs if you can. The housing market is challenging enough for prospectives renters already and it’s a shame that these people are trying to make our life more miserable.

GoogleAfter we signed our contract, David Greenslade asked us to "be kind enough to take a moment to leave me and the office a 5 star review" on Google Maps. He explicitly invited us to mention his name and even added a text to copy/paste. ("We are due to move in to a rental apartment with Felicity J Lord and we have been dealing with David Greenslade, his communication has been spot on and always updates us in a prompt manner. I would happily recommend David and his team.”) I assume several of their 'excellent' reviews were similarly requested and pre-drafted. Our property is supposed to be professionally managed by Felicity J. Lord. And yet, after signing the contract, David and his team stopped answering our emails and questions, even basic ones (e.g., about the internet). We then moved in and had several issues in the flat: remaining items from previous tenants, dirty walls and bathrooms, lights, and fridge not functioning; the list goes on. We emailed David and Hamzah Hussain (in charge of our property), but they didn't even answer. They are essentially useless. We then turned to the owner, who reluctantly agreed to handle our issues. I understand the owner will stop working with Felicity J. Lord; it seems a sensible decision.

GoogleAuguste Didvalyte was our letting agent constructive throughout the process of letting the property to us. Since we have moved in however, there have been notable communications issues with this company. We have had a plumbing issue which we reported to the Property Management Team on 29 August. It still hasn't been fixed - the service we have received has been really poor and the communication has been shockingly bad. The team have ignored us despite several emails and attempted calls to them, who never seem to be there. They have failed to communicate to us at any point their interactions and arrangements with contractors to fix the issue, so we continue to receive random messages from different contractors without any context. If this is how the agency manages issues for renters and on behalf of property owners, I would not recommend using them.

GoogleI have used FJ Lord for years as a landlord and then for a sale of an East London flat. Raj in the sales department was very attentive and helpful and kept in touch throughout the process. Gurmukh and Sachin were also great to deal with.

GoogleI asked Felicity J Lord (Bow office) to assist me in letting out my flat. Jean Piper in particular has been my key point of contact and has been excellent in assisting with the move out / check out of prior tenants. The prior tenants had previously allowed a damp and mould issue to build up which required significant work during the tenancy to fix. Jean’s diligence and attention to detail meant that I was able to recover all costs arising as a result of these issues and was not left out of pocket. Deductions were swiftly agreed from the deposit and I was left very happy with the service. Thank you Jean!
