I had a really pleasant experience with FJL Shad Thames while scouting through properties to rent in London. Monika was a thorough professional and took me to see exactly 1 apartment after understanding my requirements and boom - that was the one I finalized (after multiple viewings with other agencies). Gemma was helping me in the documentation phase and was very prompt and helpful. She also helped me with insurance and council tax registration, explained everything that’s there to know in detail and made sure I didn’t have questions unanswered at the end of our conversation. Really went out of their way to be flexible and accommodating - especially given my recent horrendous experience with estate agents. Felicity J Lord (particularly Gemma and Monika) were kind, responsive and informed, seamlessly allowing us to liaise with the landlord and current tenants on how they had found living in the property we were interested in and putting in extra effort to ensure we could arrange viewings outside of our working hours that were convenient to us. I have every confidence in Felicity J Lord to work in our best interests going forward - which is definitely not something you can say about every estate agent!

This was the first agent i approached when i had to move flat. All went pretty well, i saw the property immediately and took it as a really good deal. I've been assisted by Jeni Allen, who was incredibly understanding with my situation and waited for me forever before I picked the flat, while other agents started to ignore me. She has shown me everything that was offered and what I wanted to see primarily within the budget set. Never pushed. Also updated me on flats available as soon as they were on the market, which was useful, because with other agencies I faced a few times coming to the viewing with the flat being gone. In the end went for a slightly more expensive range, but much nicer than what I've seen in the same price range. Everything was organised super fast and efficiently. Thank you :)

We would highly recommend the Shad Thames branch of FJL, and Gavin May in particular. They marketed our flat for sale, and when we met Gavin initially he was knowledgeable about the market, and clear and realistic about what could be aimed for. Gavin and his team were always available to talk, worked longer hours than most other agencies, updated us regularly on the progress of the viewings, and then once they found a buyer, on the progress of the conveyancing and overall sale until completion.
