Poor experience with Felicity J Lord

We worked with Felicity J Lord to help us find and manage a short-term let of our home while we are away. We thought having an estate agency manage this would reduce stress and admin while we were gone. We couldn’t have been more wrong, and we are kicking ourselves for not finding tenants ourselves and having a direct relationship with them, as Felicity J Lord’s tenancy management has caused far more headaches and stress than self-management would have.

I get terrific service from the Greenwich, FJL branch. I have dealt with Jodie Lands for years and have always found her to be completely professional and highly responsive. Other team members such as Jason Twenefour and Anh Le are also highly commended for their prompt and excellent service and complete attention to detail. The entire team is truly excellent and a credit to FJL.

Careless and unresponsive once they have their fee

Very unresponsive by email or phone. Rent was lost several times during the tenancy. Now 3 months after our tenants have moved out they have still failed to release the deposit that they were supposed to pay to the deposit protection scheme. And of course, no response to our complaints about this.

Incompetent ripoff merchants

How this agency has a high rating on Google I do not know. They are incompetent and unable to carry out the simplest of tasks. A complete and utter failure to provide even the most basic of services. As a landlord, I employed FJLord’s management services and it has been a disaster. I cannot stress the incompetence of these people, and in particular, this office. Hidden charges, over charges, damage to property, the list is endless. D not use.

Avoid at all cost

If there is minus score, I won’t hesitate to give them. Last year we rented a flat near old street. From the first day we checked in, they didn’t even care about the flat and client. We came to completely mess flat (no cleaning, broken doors, bad mold). Throughout the year, they ignored our complain about flat maintenance. When finally we moved out nearly 2 months ago, they even didn’t try to give back our deposit (ignoring our contact). We will claim a dispute after those exhausting effort and patience. Just beware to have a business with this agent.
