Sarah Kelsey has quite simply restored my, admittedly faltering, faith in the property management process. Her engaged, knowledgable, understanding approach enhances what is most impressive; her proactive professionalism. Charlotte De Carli at Felicity J Lord

Felicity J Lord and in particular Charlotte De Carli at Goswell Road branch Islington have been in charge of finding me tenants for three years now. The overall experience has been superb. It's not just about finding the best rents but as a landlord there is so much back and forth going on that I sometimes need a quick response. Charlotte provides that so therefore I have reassurance when an important matter arises. I would recommend Charlotte highly should any landlord seeking letting services.

Felicity J Lord Blackheath was…a godsend, at a stressful time of tenant changeover

Felicity J Lord Blackheath was extremely helpful as always, and particularly now when I needed it, Lisa was amazing. She always explains things and gives me the best advice. I guess in the end it comes down to trust. As a landlord, I have already been with FJ Lord several years but not on my second flat, which I was transferring from being a furnished let to unfurnished, after 16 years! I had also always managed it myself but it’s a big flat and I finally decided to get help. Lisa was great. Justyna is also a real asset in the office and Christine gets things running smoothly. Scott got me the tenant very quickly, so all in all I just highly recommend them to any landlord. PS My old tenant who was lovely but decided to move in with her boyfriend, met Lisa, liked her, and Lisa helped her and her boyfriend find a flat through FJ Lord Greenwich! So a win for landlord and tenant!

Management and sale of flat from overseas

When I relocated overseas for work, I was initially hesitant about leaving the management of the flat to an agent, however, I needn't have worried.Carl Gunn dealt with all matters quickly and professionally. Highly recommend asking for him if you can! When it came to selling the flat from the other side of the world, Gurmukh and his team were fantastic. Although there were the inevitable bumps in the road, they were always dealt with quickly and I was also kept up to date.

Extremely helpful and friendly staff

We just recently moved into a flat in Bow and Felicity J Lord helped the whole process run very smoothly and we can't thank them enough! It is our first rental in London so we did need a lot of explanation about the ins and outs but our estate agent Bilal was always on hand to answer any queries or address any concerns we had. He always went above and beyond to help with our move-in. For example when we called him to report that one of our keys wasn't working, he came round personally to drop one off 15 minutes later.I strongly recommend renting through FJ Lord to anyone moving to the areas they cover.

I thought all agents were the same until I met Bilal.

So Im moving down from Ireland to London soon. I wanted to come down to London with my partner to view some properties. I made a whole two days just for viewings with 10 estate agents. I viewed one property with Bilal at Bow Quarter. I must say his customer service was the best out of all the agents I met. Every question I had he always had the answers and made us very comfortable. A really lovely guy and made us laugh A LOT. Unfortunately the flat was too small for us but I will never forget the whole process with Bilal through booking a viewing to meeting us and showing us the property. It was an absolute pleasure meeting you. I wish there were more people like you in this industry. Even though we did not get a flat through Felicity J Lord, Bilal was still in touch with us to see how our search was going. We finally found a property in Angel. Thank you once again Bilal! Daniel Bourne in FJL Maintenance Team

We’ve rented our flat through FJL for two year and they’ve always acted promptly when we’ve needed help. We woke up revelry to hear water pouring though the ceiling in our lounge and flowing out through our fuse box. We called to report the fault and Daniel was absolutely on it from the word go. My partner and I both have jobs where it’s difficult to make time to worth these things out but Daniel took care of everything for us, organising an electrician and chasing building management to have the roof looked at. It’s great to know there’s someone looking after your needs when your unable to do it due to outside restrictions.

Used FJL in Sahd Thames and worked with Inga to rent a property for someone coming in from the USA. Inga was first class! From fitting my schedule for viewing (quickly) to answering all my questions I got what I needed to make an offer. Most impressive was the personalised service of dealing with someone in the USA with limited knowledge of London renting. Too the property was fairly priced - I'm sure at FJL's recommendation. Because of that the property will only be empty one day between tenants - a real + for the owner. Thanks Inga, you are a STAR!!

I and my husband just moved to London and to be honest, it was a daunting task for me since we weren't familiar with the renting process. FJL Greenwich by far is the best estate agent that we've ever encountered. I want to thank Le, Jason and Jodie for their exceptional work, kindness and understanding through the process. The great thing about them is, they really, really listen to your needs and your expectations from a flat/house. We had a viewing appointment with Le in Greenwich for a flat; then he took us to another flat that he thought that we'd really like and he was definitely right! He really listened our needs and got us a flat which is a perfect fit for us. Jason and Jodie was very helpful in every step of the renting process and they were all very kind to answer all of my questions (which was around a million!!) Highly recommended Real Estate Agent and staff!

As everyone knows, looking for a new flat is not usually associated with the word fun and often leaves everyone involved at the brink of both stress and bankruptcy. That being said, the experience I had with Felicity J Lord was surprisingly stress free and well organised. In particular I would like to thank Bilal Qaisar at the Felicty team who guided us on the journey, from looking at our first flat to actually going through with this property. He was professional, always created a sense of calm and positivity with our hunt and was available (night or day) for our questions and freak out moments. He felt like more of a friend than an estate agent. Not to mention the card he left us when we ended up moving in which was a very nice touch. I really need to thank the London Bow FJL office for their excellent work. In particular Ellie and Karen. I needed to move in a very stressful period, but they did everything they could to make the experience as better as possible. Incredibly professional, everything had been clear since the beginning and worked smoothly until the move in date. No waste of time, only kindness, courtesy and competence. I cannot remember the number of questions I asked and the requests for information. However Ellie has always been extraordinarily informative, patient, helpful and friendly, always finding a solution. I never thought that renting a house could be so simple and pleasant. Jason, branch manager of the Greenwich FJL office, has been incredibly informative, patient, supportive and transparently professional throughout this process, which as a first time renter has been rather daunting.My only constructive criticism lies with the communication between the automated Rightmove platform through FJL HQ to the property specific agency as none of my numerous phone calls or email were logged. This, however, bore no resemblance to the immediacy of action I experienced once I arrived at the Greenwich Lettings office; I viewed the desired property within an hour, made my formal offer and am in the process of an, hopefully successful, application. My sincere thanks to Jason and his lovely team at FJL Greenwich.

I have used the full property…

I have used the full property management service with FJL for several years now and, although at the beginning I was not happy with the service, the past couple of years things have improved enormously. The lettings team (particularly Hannah) have been extremely proactive when it comes to re-letting, and have enabled me to re-let without a void for the past 2 years. They seem to have a good knowledge of the lettings market and have given me sound advice on my choice of tenants. My only criticism would be that the Lettrak service (property portal) needs some serious improvement: it is continuously providing inaccurate information, and seems a pretty pointless service unless it can be improved.

Fine until move in day

I'm about to move into a new flat that I viewed with Justyna from the Blackheath branch. I also dealt with a few other members of the team and all were equally helpful. The referencing process went smoothly and any queries I had were dealt with promptly.Their fees seem to be in line with their competitors.** Update after moving in **Could not collect keys until 3pm on move in day, which was not ideal as I had booked that day off work to move and was back at work the following day. It was closer to 4pm before I could start unpacking my first load. The cleaners had only just finished cleaning so carpets were still wet.Flat was advertised as including parking permit, but as yet I have not received a permit so am having to spend an hour every day renewing 12 hourly visitors permits or pay to stay in a public carpark.Not sure where the fault lies for these problems, not necessarily with Felicity J Lord, but has not been a good first few days of the tenancy so far.

Highly recommend Fjlord

My girlfriend and I were looking for a 1 bed flat in Islington and have been in contact with Emma from the Islington branch, from the onset Emma was friendly, helpful and even went out of her way to offer us the best service! All of the properties Emma found for us were great but the move in dates didn't work and the property that did work we loved straight away and cannot wait to move! Once we put our deposit down, the referencing process was smooth and efficient. We had 1 minor technical issue but Emma resolved it straight away. Requirements fulfilled!!! Affordable rate.

Initially, we were a little reluctant to view a place through any agency. Somehow, through Rightmove, we came across through Felicity J Lord. We called them up and gave our requirement as we needed a spacious place but in a reasonable range. The place we queried for was already let agreed, so they asked they would get back once they have something. By afternoon, we got a call back stating there was a new letting which had just come up and they insisted us to view the place. Lucy, who is the Senior Negotiator, guided us in viewing the place as she understood our requirement very well. Believe us! We instantly liked the place as it fulfilled our needs. Since the time we said a Yes for the place, Lucy has been constantly taking care of each and every step until the move in. Honestly, she has been helping us even after the move in. As of Felicity as an agency, everything is so well organized and has every next step channelized. Beginning from viewing request, and then going ahead with the agreement, managing all terms between Landlord and Tenant and Inventory check-in and then Maintenance, everything thing is up in a beautiful site. We are really happy with our move-in and love the place we are now in. Thanks to Felicity, you made the complex journey of the move in, really a cake walk, and not to forget to mention, at a very affordable rate, which we all keep an eye on and try avoiding. I completely recommend. Words can be taken! Thanks!
