Dealing with Lenny at Felicity J Lord was an unforgettable experience, and not in a good way. If you're looking for someone who has absolutely no time for you and can't be bothered to wait, then look no further than Lenny! He has perfected the art of showing up early, then leaving before you even get the chance to arrive. Super efficient, right?His communication skills are also top-notch, if being rude and dismissive counts as a skill. He'll make sure you know just how much of a hassle it is for him to actually do his job. If wasting your time is on your to-do list, I highly recommend booking an appointment with Lenny. You'll leave feeling both frustrated and amazed that anyone can be so unhelpful!Oh, and if you're thinking about selling your flat? Don’t bother if Lenny's involved. Unless, of course, you're keen on a masterclass in how to drive away potential buyers.

TrustpilotUnresponsive, incompetent property managers
We signed FJL up as our property manager in 2019. In that time, we've had 5 different managers, each hard to get hold of and unresponsive. I've found out that at least three had left after I received an out of office email stating they 'no longer worked for FJL'.One of the property managers pushed us to sign up tenants who weren't a good fit - who ended up abandoning the property mid-lease.We have done more admin with this property despite having them as the property manager - and they didn't process a HMRC form properly meaning money was withheld incorrectly for HMRC (when it shouldn't have). Very frustrated with their poor service and I would not recommend them as property managers at all. I just hope they were decent managers for our tenants (although we've now had 4 tenants over the last 3 years...which gets me thinking they haven't done a stellar job on that end either).

GoogleI have contacted Felicity J Lord at 2016 for renting. Although I did not rent the place, I was pleased by their service because they gave me a package that contains all the flat info and require material to proceed, which many of other agents do not. At 2017 I need to move. Jason Twenefour from FJL showed me a flat yet I did not like it. About 2 weeks later he called me again to show me another really amazing flat, well worth the price, though due to budget and moving day I decide not to take the price. Jason's service is really impressive. I was late at the appointment for 15 mins yet he waited for me with no compliant. He followed up promptly yet won't press you. I feel very comfortable when communicate with him. He has everything you need to know about the property. Very professional, that's why I want to write a review to thank Jason and his company.

I have had a tenancy at the same property for twenty eight years now. When I first moved in, in 1994 It was the Woolwich.I have seen staff come and go over the years as people do, but the one thing that has remained constant is that the staff that work in that office have always been the most nicest and competent of people. Anything which has needed to be attended to as been dealt with promptly.In good time,and in a positive and friendly manner. All the ladies who are at Blackheath are a credit to themselves and Felicity J Lord. Most especially I would like to give a big Thankyou to Teresa and Lilly who I can't speak highly enough of. I'm not usually one to complain, and even as I write this I'm still inclined not to give a 1 star review because I would hate to undermine the positive aspects of the service we have received at Felicity J Lord. However the way we've been treated has been nothing short of discompassionate and unfair.We were moved in an apartment which had not been cleaned - it was absolutely filthy - if it was possible to post photos to this review I would. The previous tenants things were still in the apartment and because we collected the keys on a Saturday nobody at the branch answered the phone despite their opening times suggesting someone should still be in the office. We even stopped by, but they were shut.A cleaner was eventually sent out part-way through day three, but by this time we had been expected to live in an apartment that was honestly not fit for human habitation for more than 48 hours.Despite Felicity J Lord admitting fault, we have been sent increasingly threatening arrears letters for the three days of rent which we have refused to pay due to a breach of contract.I have written this review in part as a warning of the practises of the letting agent which have the ability to impact not only tenants, but also landlords, and in part as an open letter to the management of the company to draw attention to the poor customer service and lack of attention paid during this whole process.I mentioned at the start of this email that there were good aspects and I do still want to highlight these. Until this fiasco, communication had been pretty good, with nothing to fault of the service. The online referencing tool was easy to use and emails were responded to efficiently.I was also impressed with how things were initially handled after the weekend, upon their discovering that we had been handed over a disgusting apartment, which was why the follow-up correspondence was so disappointing.

Appalling incompetence by Shannon Steadman and Travis Knight at the Stoke newington office. Their client was the bottom rung in a house sale chain involving our property. An offer was in place for 6 months on the property they were selling. The week exchange was meant to happen… it turned out the buyer FJ Lord had told everyone in the chain was in rental and so chain free… actually had a property to sell. Sure, why check how your buyer is finding the deposit? Either they failed basic due diligence, or they knew all along and lied to everyone. Of course when all the other agents and properties in the chain went ballistic at them, it couldn’t possibly have been their fault. Will they compensate anyone for the lost hours and expenditure if the chain now falls apart…Edit - have emailed them as they suggested. No answer.
