Amanda was incredibly helpful with my search for the perfect apartment. I felt she totally understood my needs. Showing me lots of options and recommendations. Amanda was professional, knowledgeable, and at the same time, friendly and personable. If you’re looking for someone who ‘gets you’ and comes across as though they are putting as much effort as if they were looking for their own abode, then I highly recommend.

Hilarious UPDATE..........From their Chief Legal Officer: Druce lost my keys. Inarguable they admit it. I requested they change the locks. They refused. I reached out to their Chief Legal Officer.....his response "As a gesture of goodwill, we will pay for a new set of keys"! They LOSE my keys which I PAY them to safeguard as part of our Agreement and they are doing me a favour by replacing keys that could be in some criminal's hands? DO I HAVE TO SAY MORE ABOUT THE STANDARDS OF this bunch of cowboys????? Don't be fooled by the ratings, there was different ownership and leadership 3 years ago when all the positive reviews came in. They go through staff like I go through peanuts! I have had nine property managers and now 3 Heads of Property Management in the space of 3 years. Today this is an agency that epitomises what is wrong with Estate Agency business in the UK. There are plenty of agencies that are honest ,dependable and demonstrate a high degree of concern for their clients. Some of the big ones however, are run like puppy mills, with employees, (through no fault of their own)i who are very inexperienced, and totally inept in their jobs. Druce, has aspirations of becoming a very large company, led by some ex Foxton's people who in my opinion are terrible at their jobs and funded by a billionaire from Singapore. They are too important to respond to emails ( I have decided that it has happened so many times that I refer to it as being Druced ) and they have built a wall around themselves so that you cannot call them and discuss an issue. If you want to, for some insane reason use a Chain agency, make sure every discussion is followed up in writing. I believe one of the reasons why their property managers are so bad, is that they have too much work and do not have a system of follow-up. You have to chase and re-chase on every single item. I have had to resort to numbered bullet points and then resend the email asking for updates. If you think, hiring a property manager like Druce will save you time and money, think again! I was far less busy, less frustrated and received a greater share of my rent BEFORE Druce .Recently they decided to start charging for the service of witholding 20% tax for HMRC for overseas landlords. My contract with them has this included and also the contract stipulates that changes in fees must be notified in writing with 90 days notice. The amount they are charging ( for 1/2 hour once a quarter....their number not mine) is £600 a year.....which works out to £300 an hour ! And what justification does their Area Director of finance give.....we wish we did not have to pass this cost along to our customer😂. Which in business speak, means we want to squeeze more money out of you.They went ahead and charged me this fee......until I brought to their attention that they were not allowed to do this and then they refunded the money......without an apology. They are not nice people in my opinion. Be careful, be very careful.

as a landlord - I do not recommend this company -they manage our property but we have not been able to make any contact with the contact at Druce -staff turnover so high and no handover so with each new member, dismissive to us when we enquire as to why we can't get hold of the person 'managing' our property - I do not recommend in any way shape or form.

The agents at Bective were extremely helpful throughout the whole process including even stepping in to assist when the website that processes the paperwork / applications didn't work correctly. Additionally Megan went above and beyond in assisting with getting the broadband service set up so we would be ready to work from home from day 1. Everyone we dealt with was professional and very prompt with communication.

Who makes the decisions? The landlord or the agency? I placed an offer for a single-occupancy apartment after the landlord had turned down one offer for double occupancy, stating her desired requirements. Then, after being kept in the dark, I was told the landlord has accepted the previous offer. When quizzed, I was told the couple work at “Bloomberg,” a big company. This was a case of gatekeeping at its finest by the agents very basic biases.

As a landlord I would advise AGAINST using the property management option. The people who have managed my property have NOT made my life easier QUITE THE OPPOSITE. They are clueless and have no knowledge of the repair basics. My experience was so bad that I requested a six month refund of the fees and received them because Senior Management recognised that the level of service had been AWFUL. They further assured me that they would be making personnel changes and that things would definitely improve. They did make changes but things have not improved. I have had 6 “ Property Managers” assigned to me since I started using this service and am about to get the 7th. Completely disillusioned and upset with myself for having believed their assurances that my little account was important to them and that they would work hard to restore my trust. Nothing could be further from the truth.

We were tenants with Bective for 2 and a half years. The team were always really flexible and responsive whenever we needed any sort of help. Soraia in particular was super helpful and nothing was ever too much trouble (despite me being horrible at returning management keys😂). Kim was so helpful in helping us find our place initially. Really nice team.

Agents are terrible, but Bective are different.I decided to rent a property through Bective due to their professional and diligent process. My agent, Megan, was extremely helpful in organising viewings, sourcing further information and finding the correct properties to my spec.Megan was on hand during the property negotiation process and ensured the property I wanted was correctly secured. 10/10 would use again.
