GoogleI have worked as a contractor for many years with this office and the staff are without exception polite, helpful and welcoming. Thee is always a smile when I walk in the door and nothing is too much for them. I would thoroughly recommend them

GoogleThose that deal with getting you in the door i.e. the lettings team are good (understandably so!!). The property management side, however, is appalling. They are slow, unprofessional and have out of offices on 24/7. Even though the landlord was paying for the property to be managed, it was his own builders that were the ones coming out to us when there was a problem- D&G "managing" these issues meant they took 10x longer. Ensure you are ready for a deposit battle at the end as well - they supported the landlord in trying to take 50% of our deposit away when they were the negligent ones in not forwarding our photos and comments from the beginning of our tenancy in time. We got 95% back through TDS. I'd think carefully before renting a property managed by them.NegativeResponsiveness, Quality, Professionalism, Value

GoogleMy agent Bella was very attentive, despite my numerous demands and intensity was always able to respond in a timely manner. In addition Sophie deals with the contracting and my queries quickly and factually. I also spoke with a male member of staff who was also very pleasant and was able to help me quickly and effectively. The professionalism of the team was incredible for an estate agent. My best ever experience with an estate agent actually. The fees were very reasonable in comparison with other agents.

GoogleAngus was excellent in helping with the purchase of our house. He can definitely defy the typical estate agents reputation. He was extremely honest and in constant communication with “zero” level of pushiness. The whole process was from initial search through to completion was absolutely seamless! He arranged access whenever required for me to get building quotations. This enables me to start work as soon as I have the keys. Excellent agents and strongly recommended!! Additionally, it really felt like we were dealing with a professional organisation. When Angus had holiday/ day off, Jonathan (the Manager) was able to provide an update/ follow up with the client - all very seamless. We would not hesitate to recommend Douglas and Gordon as Estate Agents whether to purchase or to sell your property.

GoogleDamian and the team on Abbeville Road (especially Sophie) were incredibly professional when dealing with the letting of our house. We moved away from the UK shortly after engaging them and their regular communication coupled to honest advice on what to consider when offers started to come in was invaluable. The local knowledge of the D&G team in general (lettings and sales - we originally bought the house through them) is first class and we would thoroughly recommend them.

GoogleI had a really seamless experience with Ailie Fraser at D&G. Our first viewing was on time and she pointed out everything we'd want to know, and she also made our experience of putting an offer in very quick and easy - it was a 2 day process from viewing to signing on the dotted line! After our offer was accepted Ailie was always on hand to answer questions (mostly out of her remit!) and came to show us the flat once more so we could take measurements. I wouldn't hesitate to use D&G again or point a friend in their direction.

GoogleI cannot recommend D&G abbeville more highly. I have either bought or sold through them a few times now and every time they deliver above and beyond and make the whole process not just easy but actually fun. Georgia Jakstys in particular was so above and beyond the call of duty during our sale process. She managed to get an almost impossible sale across the line for us and we ended up laughing off even the worst times of stress. I cannot thank her and the team enough and I will actually really miss her and the guys a lot… I bet most people don’t feel like this about their estate agents!!
