I sold my property with Chris and couldn’t recommend him more highly. Property sales are stressful at the best of times, but this one was particularly challenging due to a very poor solicitor on one side of the transaction, which significantly affected the speed of the process. Despite this, Chris was excellent at keeping us updated throughout, and we always felt he put in every effort to keep things moving. He also maintained clear and balanced communication between both buyer and seller, which made a real difference. We’re very grateful for everything Chris did to get the sale over the line.

Chris Campbell at Douglas & Gordon was exceptional - he successfully sold my flat in Brixton in a difficult market, completing just before Christmas. Chris was excellent from the outset. Even before I formally instructed him, he took the time to visit the property several times and offered thoughtful, practical advice on how best to prepare it for sale. Throughout the process, he was professional, proactive, and clearly took personal ownership of the sale. He demonstrated strong judgement around pricing and launch strategy, which generated early interest, and he personally handled all viewings. Communication was consistently excellent via Whatsapp/emails - he was always responsive, kept me well informed, and followed up promptly with clear feedback. Chris negotiated a strong final outcome and remained fully engaged through to completion, helping to keep the legal process moving and ensuring everything stayed on track. Even on the final day, when a few last-minute issues arose, he handled them calmly and carefully between all parties, which made a real difference to getting the sale over the line smoothly. I spoke to several local agents before choosing Douglas & Gordon and was particularly drawn to their partnership model. That proved to be the right decision, Chris was clearly accountable, well-incentivised, and genuinely cared about the outcome. Estate agents said "NO" I cannot book a viewing without answering tedious questions. Curious how all the positive reviews happen when they clearly don’t prioritise sellers. I just called to book a viewing for tomorrow for a property on Abbeville Road. When I was asked what I’m looking for in a property, I said it changes and and I have a meeting in 7 minutes so I’m happy to answer this question during the viewing. Just not now. The agent was RUDE and insisted I should tell him my criteria which I just am not sure about. In the end I asked: I already told you which property I want to view. Can I book a viewing or not? He said "NO". I hung up. I feel sorry for the property seller because this is how the estate agent is selling the property: Adhering to pointless textbook questions while sabotaging a real sale opportunity.

Finding your dream home first and then selling yours is an agent’s nightmare. Everything is stressful because of the timeline. Well, we were Georgia and Rebecca’s nightmare because we found our dream home and then had to sell ours. I honestly feel that we developed a friendship during the ups and downs and having such a skilled, dedicated and resourceful team on our side made an incredible difference. Chasing up and down the chain? No problem. Fixing issues on a sale further down the chain because they are just ON.TOP.OF.IT. No problem.
