Very disappointed!It took them 33 days to tell me they are going to return part of my deposits. I emailed back said i will enter dispute process because the deposit claim is not reasonable, but they told me the time frame to dispute is within 10days of end of tenancy.:)Since i moved out i kept chasing for an answer but they delayed response till 33days later. And they claim they did professional cleaning to the flat, and they charge it to my deposit. But the truth is, i already booked professional end of tenancy cleaning service when i moved out and physically inspected the cleaning was done.I do not get why should I pay for a duplicated cleaning service. And why i should accept the outcome that their ignorance lead to missed the dispute time frame of 10 days.In a word, if you are looking for flat to rent, i highly recommend, do not use Dexters.

Would not recommend at all! Typical agency, rude and better than anyone else. Got a rent reduction 3 months ago and they keep saying they are dealing with it and refunding the over payment. They didn’t and now blaming us! Direct debits bounced due to this and they think it has nothing to do with them. If this was the other way round and me not paying it would be a totally different story. I’m lucky I’m in a position to move money around but that is only the last few years.. back when I started renting I would be in trouble! Dexters think they are above anyone else and other peoples circumstances. They could not care less! I ask everyone not to use or move away from this company. Let’s think about how people starting out would be suffering right now.

I have moved out for one month but they still did not refund my deposit even if I have chased for 5 times!The response on repairment and maintainence request was super slow during my stay. It took 5 months for them to fix the blinds! I could not turn on lights during evenings because there was no blinds!And they arrange views with very short notice before my moving out date. Very bad experience. PLS give my deposit back ASAP when you read this comment, Dexters!

TrustpilotI spent a lot of time doing things that should have been avoided.
I spent a lot of time filling doing unnecessary things.Negatives:1. Spending time getting a guarantor and being rushed by Chloe of Putney branch Dexters to get the guarantor to fill out the form (which, they had to do twice, as the first form was under the suffix 'Miss' when it was for a man).Only to be eventually told that I dont need a guarantor. 2. Arriving 30minutes after check in time only to wait another 30 minutes, because they couldn't find the keys (it was in someone's desk... suprise, suprise...)3. Not having a professional clean done even though the inventory mentioned it was (very dusty, shower cubicle was very dirty.) - the oven was caked with burnt grease and there were many burnt trays/racks inside the oven that spent a good while to clean). The extractor fan was also not cleaned and not extracting properly, though inventory stated that it was working fully.)4. Faulty lights and a broken intercom on arrival.5. The previous tenants told me that Dexters tried to withhold some of their deposit for cleaning that had to be done (which, was never done in my personal opinion - the full deposit was returned eventually though)6. A lot missing on the inventory, I had to send photo's to the property management team.7. Felt more rushed signing a deal here than any other properties I was looking at.Positives:1. Chloe answered all of my questions where she could.2. Property management team fixed the lights and intercom relatively quickly and are pretty helpful.3. Good locations to choose from.

Excellent service from Dexters Highgate. I had the pleasure to deal with Mark Sumray and Ben Hilton (aka the Jordan Belfort of real estate) and they delivered exactly on what they promised. They managed to sell my flat despite a very challenging backdrop and kept getting viewings in until they found a buyer!
