I would highly recommend Dexters Battersea. Ashley helped make the whole process very smooth - we had some special requests after signing contracts and he was incredibly accommodating. We also requested a second viewing before we move in and he went over and above to help make it happen. Only giving 1 star as there isn't a half option. Me and my partner rented a one bedroom flat at No. 10 Connexion Building, Battersea Park Road in SW113BF for 4 years (First time renting from agency). Initially we paid Dexters around £300 for an inventory lady to come in and prepare an inventory that we only found out it was poorly done at the check out. Our check in was definitely not as thorough as the check out. Landlord went out of the inventory for extreme charges at damages that was already there but not included on inventory surprisingly? such as mark to doors, pen marks to heating. We unfortunately trusted Dexters specially with the misleading 5 stars reviews. They could have advised us to make sure we have our own pictures and report everything by emails as evidence, lack of professionalism, advisory skills and management from the start definitely have incurred expensive costs for us. My personal advice is: Take pictures, date and time video the conditions of your chosen property - DO NOT TRUST DEXTERS INVENTORY PARTNERS - never complaint over the phone, PUT ALL IN EMAILS - bare in mind LANDLORD WILL TRY TO GO OUT OF THE INVENTORY TO POCKET SOME MONEY. Dexter will keep your whole deposit for 3 months when you move out. be ready for hassle.
