GoogleSold my house with Dexters in the summer and unfortunately had a bad experience with the team. They prioritised the needs of the buyer far above ours, and it was clear their number one priority was making their commission over doing the right thing or even listening to our point of view. This included handing over keys to the buyer before our lawyers gave the go ahead, amongst other things. This was a complicated situation and a complicated sale, and I could not fault their responsiveness and urge to sell the property, but it ultimately cost them their reputation and whilst I will purchase in the South West again, it definitely won't be with Dexters. I did complain and they handled the complaint to my satisfaction. But overall - their duty of care is not to their clients, it is to their own pockets. Whilst not a surprise for an estate agent, this was the worst I have seen from one.NegativeProfessionalism

GoogleAs buyers we had a great experience with Dexter's in Clapham. We had originally called about 1 property but Jamila happily matched us up with a few more and drove us round. She even overcame her fear of dogs - we had been obliged to bring ours with us to the viewings as it was a full day away from home. Matt (the French one - I think there are 2 and I didn't get the surname!) was also very helpful at a couple of second viewings and they both offered us very honest advice. I also needed to scan and send some documents for our solicitor re the sale of our place, Matt said that the admin assistant in their office would be happy to do it for me which was very helpful.... We saw about 40 properties through many estate agents... From a buyers perspective, Dexter's wins 1st prize....PositiveResponsiveness, Professionalism
