GoogleI have let a property through dexters now for over 2yrs( my mother and me having done it ourselves for over 30yrs) and not once have i had cause for complaint.Wish we had used them before. Tia Blackmore-Saunders who is part of the property managment team who manage the property(I sincerley recommend you use their premium letting service-its worth its weight in gold) has always been very helpful along with the rest of her colleagues in resolving any issues and particularly in maximising the rental yield from the property and keeping voids to zero so far. Outstanding effort from her and the team -please continue this

Unlike many estate agents, Dexters are well versed in the conveyancing process, and this can be immeasurably helpful in seeing transactions completed smoothly and efficiently. GoogleI’ve had a mixed experience with Dexters. They have a great variety of good properties and were good at suggesting places that fit my requirements that I hadn’t spotted yet. A word of warning, though: they don’t take properties off the market until exchange has taken place, which means that many of the properties listed are actually under offer and are kept live as a way of bringing in “backup buyers” in case the purchase falls through. This can be frustrating as it means the perfect property you found online might actually not be available for viewings or offers at all, and once you have an offer accepted on a place you have only their word for it that you won’t be gazumped! After my offer was accepted I also had to chase them to take down the “for sale” sign outside the flat. They can also occasionally be disorganised with viewings after your offer is accepted - on one occasion I was left standing outside a property for fifteen minutes before being told that the viewing had not actually been put in the relevant person’s diary (despite a colleague having confirmed the viewing the day before), and it took several days for a replacement date to even be agreed. Having said this, they are generally okay on the actual process of getting to exchange and Amber (who helped me on my purchase) has generally been on the ball.

GoogleDexters have been great at selling my flat in Clapham. After originally having it on with another agent and not making much progress, I switched to Dexters and immediately their knowledge of the local area & market, and their attention to detail & rigour was clear. We quickly got to the best offer I was going to get, and Dexters stayed involved and helped through to exchange. Particular shout outs to George Underwood and Garry Dibley from the Clapham office.
