GoogleWe did our offer and in they reply straight away that they requested our bank account information, including CVV.
We did not sign anything at all, we just viewed the property and we just wanted to make an offer.
Apparently, before even considering our offer, we must provide our bank details with all personal details and the secure code. They need it because if the offer goes through they can then take the money straight from the bank account for holding deposit.
It does not make any sense to me. Their request was under unsecure email.
Where are they going to keep my personal details?
Where is my contract?
Who is going to receive my email with my CVV?
Why we cannot just do the payment once the offer is been accepted?

This was amazing, especially as we are relocating and lacked some knowledge on the local market. During our flat visit he was able to provide great information, and was very well put together and professional in both his tonality and appearance. He has further been great throughout the signing and referencing processes and we have had full confidence in how he has communicated with the landlord on our behalf.
