To summarize my experience with City Rooms: the sales agent lied about all bills being included; lied to another tenant about the en-suite (there is a shower but no toilet or sink); they have not upheld their contractual obligation for a cleaner; no mailbox keys for several weeks; no response to maintenance issues; and the turnover of new tenants in the flat is high.

I must say I did have a great expaerience with this estate agency, they have been polite and helpfull at all time even if they didn't have to! they make me feel home even before they found me one!! :) my tenancy started last week and so far its all great! they have been honest with me yes! definetly I can reccommend!

GoogleIT'S A SCAM! They do not solve the breakdowns in the common areas or they take months to do so even if they insist, the cleaning is terrible and 3 months after ending the contract they have not yet returned the deposit! On top of that, if you miss 1 day of paying, they are already charging you a surcharge!

TrustpilotCharging people to view properties? Gimme a break
This company is targeting people moving to the country and CHARGING them to view properties. They are enforcing that people must pay a deposit before they are even allowed to visit a property.Seeing as the majority of the staff are foreign, it seems evil that they are exploiting these peoples lack of knowledge of british housing law. Contacting the Ombudsman for sure.

Their offer is very good on paper they are not able to fulfill the cleaner does up the first two weeks, if you ask for repairs they don't really care, no one replies after you have payed the rent and deposit they only care until you sign the contract... The pictures shown are date way back when the flat was new

Don’t even deserve this one star. This agency has broken so many legislations that I lost count and the Manager stated that it’s not possible without any investigation. No hot water or heating since May until a November. And that’s just some issues out of many more. Avoid like a plague! Never in my life had I experienced such unprofessionalism! Beware!

GoogleA guy named Constantine in charge of maintenance did an excellent job painting and installing some curtains. Another boy named Manfredi helped us with all the documentation for the room and expedited the hiring process. The immediate response from both of them was excellent.
