Since I moved into the flat (in November) I've been struggling with the shower plughole, but Fredy Agamez helped me and sent some people to fix it. I met Fredy a couple of months ago when he came to the flat to check everything; I'm so grateful to him for all his help, totally recommended!.

While at the start it seemed that the promises made by City Rooms was false regarding the accommodation, but then with timely intervention of the entire team along with Jason(CEO) things were sorted.Would still like them to change the way of doing business - viewings followed by letting, hence this ratings!!Kudos team on getting customer issues addressed!!

What a horrible experience with City Rooms. I paid a 265pound security deposit and was told beforehand that if I didn't want the room I could get a refund for it. Just a day later, when I changed my mind, I asked for a refund and they told me it's not possible. What an absolute scam.

GoogleWe moved into an en-suite like two months ago, and it was probably one of our worst decision, when we chose this “agency”. They are really not centered around their tenants, and mostly what they want is just squeeze out the money from us. Most of our flatmates told they got fined by the agency because of overuse the utilities, but mostly stays behind these fines is just the simple fact they won’t give back the deposit money. What’s more they even charge you if they find the flat untidy, yet before moving in a weekly cleaning service was promised. This wasn’t though the only thing promised before signing the paper... It was told us, that only three rooms are in the flat with a maximum of 4 people living there, that the en-suite is being cleaned before moving in, that there is a dishwasher machine working in the flat and that it is a silent room, quite separated from the other parts of the flat. I think I don’t have to say, that none of this was true, and only with this kind of conditions could be this horrible price for this room acceptable. So, there are 5 rooms in the flat and only one refrigerator for 7 people! The boiler is really small for this amount of people for a daily use, and it’s not working all the time, like every week it’s not heating water for one or two days. Also the dishwasher is turned off by them, because it is fire hazardous, and harmful for health! Who heard bigger lies than this?... The weekly cleaning is just a sheer myth as well as the silence, because the walls are paper thin and the doors have an inch gap between the floor and bottom. For this amount of price it is a total scam. This so called agency is nothing more than a disgusting group of professional liars and scammers. However more upon mentioning all the problems and lack of perks they promises they become ignorant, non-responsive and when they give an answer it takes days and even then they are just pointing fingers to each other... this agency is a joke, and they are going to take away your money! GoogleWorst experience ever. I was scammed in a bad way, seeing myself entering a house completely different from the photos and from the one described. No hot water and the gas turned off the week before leaving. An unprecedented shame, I never thought that similar experiences could happen at an agency. BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

GoogleI have best experience with City Rooms for past 5 years. I have contract for 3 years guaranteed rent with City Rooms. We extended this contract because City Rent management so professional and fair,even during difficult Corona time. Special thanks to manager Matthew House. It’s a good agency from my experience, Was looking for a room, found one in spare room, went to the agency, did referencing , passed, paid the money, and moved in the next day. Very straight forward, simple and the staff was helpful, they helped me with the reference and where there to assist me move in. GoogleScammers!!! . They steal your money by making you pay absurd amounts for bills that they invent themselves. You will have to pay the bills of you flatmates too. Never rent a room with this people!

After a bad start, we finally we're introduced to the property manager Jamie. He is excellent, we had the first-class service and can't thank him enough. All the technical problems were resolved and his support made a smooth transition from being really unhappy to be very happy.
