GoogleVery shady, make sure to take many photos of the condition of your flat/room/shared space on arrival or they will pluck a magic expensive number out of the air and charge you off your deposit. Lots of outstanding problems in my flat I rented, never got fixed. Don't trust all these "Best voted in London" gold badges on their email. Their flat inspection was intimidating and somewhat threatening.

GoogleShocking. We had a flat lined up, had paid the dpeosits, had references accepted and were ready to move in. Then, ONE DAY before we were meant to move in i had a call that the landlady has pulled out of the contract. Number 1 this is illegal and we have entered seperate proceedings with the landlady (avoid 106a commercial road), and no.2 the agency were beyond useless. They did not fight for us at all, would not even give us the contact details of the landlady. They told us they would stop workign with the landlady but i kept seeing the property newly advertised by them, illustrating how they blatantly lied. Please avoid this agency if you wish to keep your sanity and ensure a smooth move into London

GoogleI do not recommend the agency. It was very difficult to get maintenance help (they repaired the non-working boiler after 4 months without heating), had to call them every few days if needed anything. They entered the room when I was not at home and at the end of the contract they tried to steal part of the deposit by inventing fake reasons - almost two months - still waiting for my deposit to be returned. I do not recommend renting anything from them.

GoogleBy far the best estate agency I've ever encountered. From the moment we found the property we wanted to rent, all the way through to now - living there and needing the occasional service - we've just had great service. Problems fixed in no time, information sent promptly, quick responses to our every query. I'd specifically choose properties advertised through this company in future, because their level of service makes such a difference. Particular commendation to Adam and Jay, who have dealt with our account and have both been brilliant.

GoogleMe and my boyfriend have been looking for the perfect flat in the last month and we have experienced one of the worse customer service with this agency; we had our viewing booked with them for 3pm, first of all the agent arrived 15 minutes late. Afterwards we were ultimately ready to place a deposit on the flat, but then the estate agent decided to simply ghost us. We called the branch 3 times and were told every time that he was on the phone and would come back to us - even after leaving a message, he never returned our call and we saw a new instance of the same flat’s advert, put up the next day. Would absolutely not recommend, they will waste both your time and theirs.

GoogleI would like to write a review for City Realtor as well as a response for the negative review left by Jack. I have been renting a room through City Realtor since October 2016 and I decided to leave my contract early to move away for a few months. Because I wanted to leave my contract early I needed to find a replacement for my room. I showed my room and the flat to Jack advising that there were other people that have viewed the room before him and they had said they were interested. So, if he was interested he would need to contact the agency as soon as possible to see if the room is still available for rent or if anyone had placed a deposit to secure the room. Unfortunately for him, a previous viewer had already shown their interest so their application was processed first. The replacement, if suitable, is chosen on a first come first serve basis. My experience with City Realtor has been a breeze and very pleasant. Sam initially showed me around the flat explaining everything I needed to know for a first time renter. He immediately put me at ease and talked me through the whole process. When I went to the office to sign the contact, the agent read through the contract with me and explained any questions I had. One thing I really liked about the agency is that they made sure everyone in the flat was suitable for each other. We were all around the same age, quite sociable and it made it a really nice environment. Throughout my stay with the agency, all of the staff have been super helpful with any query that we have asked or emailed them and any problems that we had throughout the flat were fixed as soon as we notified them. When I return to London I will definitely be using this agency again and I personally recommend using City Realtor when looking for a place to rent. A very trustworthy and helpful company that are down to earth and provide and excellent service.
