TrustpilotNo customer support
We have been customers in one of WeWork's locations without network services now for almost four months. We were put in to a new floor as it was opened with promises that the services available there would be identical to that we were shown however during the build they significantly altered the plans leaving us without effective network access. We have since been relocated to resolve this issue, however are now stuck in limbo with half of their support staff arguing with the other leaving us in the middle. We have repeatedly made attempts to reach out and resolve this, but unless we first reach out to the corporate headquarters and come through there we are largely ignored. I would STRONGLY advise against working with them.

TrustpilotWework- Worst co-working place
Wework has pathetic services. They call themselves a "digital" company however all kinds of services are manual. 1. They dont accept paytm, credit cards, only cash. Seriously!2. Ask them for any help- can't book it online, you have to walk down to front desk and then ask for it. 3. They refuse to help on small matters and send a reminder everyday that the ticket is open. Once you have refused for help what is the reply you are expecting? On the top of such services their charges are skyhigh. They dont have any sense of customer service and charge high for that.

TrustpilotI chose to locate my company at We Work… because the devil is in the details!
I chose to locate my company at We Work Mill Valley and the experience has far exceeded my expectations. Every detail is attended to by the WeWork staff -- Samantha, Caitlin, Cameron -- and others, who make sure that member companies and their guests feel well taken care of and at home. From our sign up to move in to day to day experience, the process was smooth and easy. Beyond the amenities of a gym, Equator coffee and fresh fruit flavored water, there are community events daily that entice people out of their offices and bring people together. One of the best decisions we at Waterhouse Brands has ever made!

I have been renting a space in a a WeWork location in London and can definitely say that it is a great idea to be in a co-working space such as this one if you are a young company looking to be in a dynamic professional environment. The staff here has always been very helpful, my manager has moved me from one office to another as soon as a bigger space became available as I hired more staff. All in all, wonderful experience!

TrustpilotYou know better than to fall for this hype.
I have been to multiple WeWorks and can say the same is true from the whole company and their sub-companies. The management is preoccupied with selling the idea of WeWork and cannot deliver on what is promised in marketing. Staff are unable to help as they should be able to. Hot desks are uncomfortable and designed as such to encourage movement to permanent desk space. Security at premises does not work and guests or visitors have to go through very confusing processes only to often be left waiting when nobody is on the front desk. The business is also over-leveraged and over expanded and will have to close many offices when the recession hits soon. Why move in when you'll be forced to move soon anyway? Also, don't fall for marketing hype when a startup should be aiming to save on costs. There are plenty of cheaper workspace alternatives to WeWork with proven business models and better reviews.

TrustpilotWhat's going on with WeWork
What's going on with WeWork has frightening implications. It has quietly been buying up companies, gobbling them up really. What their intentions are one can only imagine. It's the beginning of a monopoly. When I found out that WeWork had acquired Meetup, I contacted them to find out why I was having trouble with a group. They never addressed the matter. I never gave them my contact information, how they got my phone number is extremely disturbing. I would never make the mistake of thinking they are harmless. I would never trust them. I would never turn my back on WeWork

TrustpilotAvoid at all costs!!!!
We've been in Wework Aldgate Tower for a year and thankfully our lease has come to an end. Service is extremely poor, staff are unapproachable, rude and frankly don't seem like they want to be there. Any issues, no-one is available to speak to you get told to raise a ticket and it will be dealt with. You pay for postage to arrive the next day, we're lucky if we get the package 2 days later and if we go down beforehand to ask for post we're told it's not been sorted. Offices are cleaned once a week if that, bins emptied every other day. loads of extras to pay for which were not told about when we moved in. I would recommend any business owner to stay clear of a We Work.

TrustpilotI love being at WeWork (708 Main, Houston)
I love being at WeWork (708 Main Houston)! My first impression was this was just another New York company coming to town with their urban chic décor of exposed concrete, glass walls, and wood floors. While that is all true, what I found was a very strong community that is the result of a very strong (but small) staff group operating ten floors! Each floor has is own character and desk space is definitely smaller than most are used to, but while I was initially traumatized by this I also realized that smaller space means less clutter and working smarter. The "glass cubicles" as I call the offices are tiny, but they are a great respite to simply get things done - and an incentive to get out to the common areas to be part of the larger community. Their community includes its own social network that readily connects companies any people through the same web/app experience for booking meeting rooms, managing guests, and booking space at other wework locations when necessary. The entire experience is readily scalable from a small one person office to whatever needs are. I love that they serve fabulous local roast coffee rather the bland mainstream coffees - and on-site (free) coffee means drip, espresso, americano, cappuccino, latte, etc.! They also provide local beer on tap for later in the day (when things just don't happen - or happen well) in addition to regular events that just get the community together.I would definitely recommend WeWork for companies of any size - the staff have really made 708 Main a great place to be!

TrustpilotGood interior design, the worst customer relations ever.
I used WeWork in 2 different locations and as a 'pay-as-you-use' member. Horrible experience in all of them. They couldn't give me a key for my room for 6 months and charged me 3 months extra, which took me a month to prove they were wrong and another 3 months to get it back. From the sales team to the reception desk; the staff are extremely arrogant, the support replies maybe within 2 weeks and they usually tell you to talk to your building management, the app and website isn't stable and makes you double booking and charges for double.

TrustpilotWeWork Devonshire Square - Life changing!
After spending years growing a business out of an office in Shoreditch, we ended up growing a heavily de-centralised team with people all over the UK and overseas. I ultimately parted with my office to try something new, WeWork in Devonshire Square, London. It's the best move I've made since I can remember. The vibrant community, brilliant entrepreneurs and not to mention amazing staff I've met so far have made me happier, more productive and considerably more motivated. Thank you to everyone at WeWork! You guys are just amazing!

TrustpilotAbismal internal communication / response from all WeWork contacts (London, UK)
Utterly unimpressed with mis- and un-communicative staff, service and back office teams. No reply / being sent 'round the house' EVERY time.Have gone elsewhere and it has been a fantastic experience and my clients continue to comment on their welcome and the space itself (never happened at WeWork).Seriously recommend looking for a co-working space provider that believes they should be providing services, rather than treating everyone like they're lucky to be there.

TrustpilotA cool office space but not all it's cranked up to be
We moved to a WeWork location in London after 7 years in a private office floor in the City.Pros: -Free beer after 2pm (see Cons as there is a catch here)-Free coffee (again see Cons)-Free fruit water & water (refilled often which is great)-Free milk & biscuits (almond milk, soy, skimmed, full fat, different biscuits, which is helpful for breakfast and snacks!)-Loads of comfy spaces to sit (sofas, futons, tables to eat, meeting rooms, etc...)-Free and fast Wifi (again, see Cons)-The mail room is helpful for deliveries to work and quite efficient-Helpful and fast Community staff-Open 24/7Cons:-The free beer is rarely on at 3, let alone 2 as advertised, and it runs out extremely quickly, sometimes before the end of the work day!-The fire alarm goes off all the time, for minutes on end, which makes my work extremely difficult to do (I can't call people!) this gets on your nerves after happening numerous times-The broadband has cut out for several hours twice in 3 months, not good for any business.-The 'fully fitted' kitchen runs out of cutlery, crockery and sauces alot so bring your own!-The coffee machines are broken about once a month and take about a week to get fixed (I need my coffee!)-The cleaning staff are very lazy, and will sit on their phone playing/texting for hours whilst people wait for clean cups, plates, coffee, etc...-The staff response times are typically fast but very inconsistent and they do have a snobbish air about them, as if they're saving the world! It's a cool space and good value for small-medium sized businesses, but the benefits have catches or flaws to them which detract from the overall feeling.

TrustpilotI rented a desk from WeWork for just …
I rented a desk from WeWork for just under two years. Cons - - lack of mobile phone signal in the two buildings I worked in- men's bathrooms would be broken on a weekly basis- tout themselves as social but rarely seen in practice - I had my desk cleaned maybe a half a dozen times in two years (had a yogurt stain on my desk for 4 months!) - beer pumps often didn't work and from someone who has worked in 15 pubs, the lines weren't cleaned properly if at all - will charge a £50 late fee on rent invoices, even if a couple of days late! - front door to building was broken for months - don't restock the biscuits enough (important) - coffee machine normally breaks down for a day or so every month (minor) - lots of freelancers who don't rent space will often walk in and use the break out areas (security issue) - more expensive than most offices - asked for a high deposit (two months')- lighting / broadband / heating went down a half dozen times in two years - community team is very pretentious - acting like they work for a digital tech firm saving the world! Pros - - free beer (certain hours) - looks good - clients like it

TrustpilotI don't recommend WeWork Varsovia Mexico City
I rented a space in WeWork Varsovia, Mexico City for six weeks. At first I had a seat in the co-working space on the 11th floor, but the chairs were very uncomfortable i.e. not ergonomic at all. Starbucks chairs are more comfortable, and that's saying something! So the only way I could get an ergonomic chair was to upgrade to a "dedicated space" and an increase in cost, which I was happy to do.In the end they seem to mismanage the accounts side of things and cancelled my account, then I had to use a visitor pass for the 2nd half of January, but couldn't use the dedicated space even though I was being charged for it. I'm still trying to resolve some over charging.I think they've just grown too quicker than they can't handle it. Hired people who don't understand that customers come first. Focused on free beer after midday, instead of comfortable chairs! (admittedly the beer handy on a Friday avo after a long week)I'd recommend people overlook the hype and just find a modest co-working space, with ergonomic chairs, fast internet where you don't need to catch a lift 11 floors to get to office, and that doesn't have bureaucratic process that put systems before customers. Well, at least that was the experience I had. I don't think I'll ever use them again unless I felt they had changed their tune, oh and refunded me the over charge.

TrustpilotGreat Product, Incapable Customer Support
In October my membership accidentally rolled over. I sent WeWork an email on the 3rd, asking if they would cancel and refund my membership. They kindly agreed.November arrived, and I noticed WeWork attempted to bill me too for November (my Revolut card had £0.00 so it failed) and had not refunded for October. It's now the 8th of November and I'm getting automatic daily attempts to charge my card. After about 15 emails back and forth, they still have not managed to cancel the automated charges. They don't even seem to know if it's been cancelled as they had to ask me rather than check on the system!ALL THAT ASIDE, WeWork offers a solid product. Just good luck if you need to contact support.

TrustpilotThe best co-working space in NYC. Period
I've been a happy member at We Work for almost a year now - after looking around quite a few other co-working spaces I stumbled across their Varick Street location, and was welcomed by a pinball machine, a beer, and an awesome community. Every single person that works for We Work (all the way from the CEO, Adam) down are insanely approachable, there are events, workshops, beer pong contests & (every now and then) they also happen to throw the best parties imaginable for their members. A great place to work, meet likeminded people, and above all, get sh*t done.

TrustpilotBest Place to work, grow, and socialize
Worked out of one of their locations. I really enjoyed the open feeling of walking down the hall and being able to ask people what they were working, driving towards, or trying to create. Everyone was very eager to share the ideas and goals with me and help me problems solve my own.
Great atmosphere if you want motivation too. Everyone there will be a cheerleader for you too which really helps when you are on the 15th straight marker.

Previously I posted regarding this companies outstanding performance in returning the deposit at the end of my tenancy.Looks I spoke too soon as they did not return the full amount with no explanation regarding the deduction.Numerous e mails have been met with silence. If they hope I will just go way then they underestimate my persistence in ensuring companies meet their obligations to their customers as they expect their customers to meet their obligations.

TrustpilotA truly terrible company
It's become evident that WeWork has benefitted from financial assistance in the form of business rate relief from the UK Government. None of this assistance has been passed on to help the individuals and SME's who are under contract to pay for the office space. Furthermore, they send out rent demands with legal letters and levy late payment charges against its members who are struggling to survive the pandemic. Be warned!!!

Just terrible service! Not sure where to start, fire alarm test sometimes last 30-45 minutes, WeWork team is not helpful at all, they don't know how to handle passes for the office (half of my company could not access our office for several days and still some people can't), delivery is badly handled, printers or coffee machines are not working for weeks sometimes...Don't get fooled by the free drinks and the shiny look of the office!
