TrustpilotMassively over expesive, poorly structured, largely unviable work place, nice amenities
Negatives: Some locations are very poorly laid out and managed even worse. The shepherds bush location in london is particularly bad. They have a ping pong table in a health and safety contradictive location resulting in people constantly being hit with fast plastic balls and or tripping on them whilst trying to work. The noise is horrendous, you literally cannot work there. The front of desk staff simply tell you to work in the tiny quiet area if the noise bothers you, which is not only unviable when conducting meetings and discussing things with colleagues, far too small but also the contract states, as an all access member you can work where you like... but the only place that is even near to suitable for working is the small quiet area. The offices will eat your pathetic 5 monthly credits in 1 day if you need to use the meeting rooms, then the cost of more credits is more than it costs you as a tenent for the week.On the whole it's -> WILDLY <- over expensive for what you get, very difficult to work and often very poor front of house staff. The shepherds bush office needs to be restructured, restaffed and started again.Positives: nice mini events, decent commodities, nice coffee/beer station and kitchen utilities, nice gaming stations (pool, table tennis, etc... not all locations have this)

London Medius House is an absolute disaster.- no IT support- no working Wifi- no print facility worksOf course they don't tell you this when you do a center viewing. No wonder the center is literally empty. Its not because of Covid. It is because of poor service levels.

TrustpilotBest global office solution for frequent travelers
I considered plenty of global coworking solutions. WeWork remains the best solution given that:1. A ton of different locations are available across the globe2. It's (to my knowledge) the only option in this price range which gives you 24/7 access to properties with their global access membership. All others only give you access during office hours (9-5) which is not enough (depending on your profession). However, as soon as you reach a team of 15+ employees, I recommend you switch to a proper office (price per sqm is a LOT better if you aren't in the WeWork network).

TrustpilotExecs are probably extracting as much wealth as possible by strangling the business
WiFi frequently drops, app UX is nearly unusable, chairs at the King's Cross location are all broken.

GoogleVery nice location and good facilities! And BTW there are the charging sockets in the shared desks in the middle :)
You won't know it until you need it :) it'd be great to have showers in this office space, so I had to downgrade the score to 4*

TrustpilotI'm an all-access member
I'm an all-access member, working completely remotely. I'm on the discount now but was planning to pay full price. It's really, really not worth it. Most of the all-access spaces are essentially a few desks or tables in the lobby/basement of a building. There's usually a coffee machine and comfortable couches and nice decor, but it's often very noisy, and it's hard to get serious work done. I'd pay maybe 150£ for it per month, because it's nice to get out of the house. 300+£ for this is wayy too much. It's not much better than working at a coffee shop, and it's way way more expensive.

TrustpilotThe worst service I have seen till now…
The worst service I have seen till now from a shared office space company. In the WeWork office at Atrium Amsterdam Zuid on the 6th floor we have two unnecesarry doors blocking the hall way. I asked few months back what the purpose is and why they can't be removed or at least kept open all the time. Till today I didn't get a proper answer. The 4th and 5th floor are exactly the same and they don't have those doors.Second annoying thing is that every door opens with a key. I asked why we don't have what every office has? A keycard or token to open the door. Answer: You can have that but pay us 3000 Euro. Very sad, Regus and Spaces don't ask extra for this. And then the toilets, they are filthy most of the times.

TrustpilotAwful customer service from the Leasing Team.
We’ve had a truly awful experience with the WeWork Leasing team, and it’s hard to express how demoralizing and frustrating the experience has been working with them. It’s felt like a genuinely predatory experience. They went weeks without responding to our requests to move out, only to then inform us we didn’t give advanced notice. Well, the reason we weren’t able to give advanced notice is because we were ignored for weeks on end (including 5 emails in a row). I can’t warn others enough to avoid WeWork. It’s incredibly costly and there are so many other great local options won’t extort you and leave you feeling defeated and betrayed.

TrustpilotWeDoNotCare: Wonderful coworking, inadequate customer support
I really like the WeWork coworking experience and I wish the best for the company, but the company's customer support, as many others have noted, is so inadequate that it undermines all of WeWork's positive attributes.

TrustpilotGianna Messina. Worst customer service
Gianna Messina seems to be the contact for wework Canada. She is arrogant and rude and not only doesn't follow up but is not eager to sign up anyone, which is odd because that seems to be her job. And in addition she told me out of the six locations in Toronto only one accepted dogs when in fact all but one except dogs. If you're looking to sign up to wework and you speak to her I would suggest you ask to speak to someone else to save yourself frustration. It's hard to believe they employed such a person.Other than that wework is great

TrustpilotNever Again. Loud music!!!
I had the unfortunate idea of renting an "on-demand" access to wework London at 1 Eastcheap.First and foremost: there was loud music. I know that many can work with music, but I can't and I bet that many other professionals that need to actually work prefer silence over loud music.Second: everyone is chatting in the whole space. Ridiculously, the guy who welcomed me at the reception sat close to me in the open space and he was the loudest at the table. I left the space after 1 hour(ish) as I could not focus in there. Money and time wasted. There are plenty of great places out there, and wework is the worst I have ever tried.

TrustpilotWeWork changes name to WeJerk
This company should have went out of business when they fired the founder/CEO. I was a tenant in Chicago on Wabash for 4 years until they screwed me and breached the terms of my lease so they could kick me out and sell my office to someone else for more money. Their solution was to put me in a closet. Dishonest, disorganized and diabolical sums up the leadership of this organization.

TrustpilotContradicting Billing Policy, Over-charged
I only needed the workspace for a few weeks and was told by a Senior Sales Rep I would be pro-rated for the last week of the month for which I did not need the membership. Come to find three months later, I had been charged the $299 each month since I was supposed to have ended my membership and never pro-rated. When I called Support, they told me they absolutely do not pro-rate even though I had shown him the email in which I was told by the sales rep that this could be done. In any case, not sure why I would still be getting charged months after my end date which was clearly stated in my signed agreement.

Extremely poor customer service. Booked a meeting room through the app. Paid £600 outright. Notified that all was fully refundable if cancelled 24 hours before booking. Tried to cancel through app 4 days before booking. Not possible error messages. Emails customer service through app. No response. Calls 3 days before booking date. Customer Service agent unable to refund has to speak with IT dept. Will email back. Nothing. No refund. Terrible customer service

TrustpilotWeWork Singapore - Increased monthly subscription 2x without prior-warning and forcing to pay for an extra month
I was a happy member for about 6 month enjoying their discounted membership promotions…In August these discounts have apparently expired without prior notice and I received a full bill on August 1st (Sunday). I asked if there are any promotions still available. They said NO. I then asked to cancel my membership (August 3rd), as I wasn’t interested to pay full price for the plan at that time, yet could reconsider later. WeWork however declined my membership cancellation request for the month of August, and said that they can only do that from the following month as mentioned in their “T&Cs”. So basically I’m forced to pay a rate that I haven’t been warned about in advance for a month I’m not willing to use their services for. This incredibly inflexible and shady, especially coming from a company that prides itself for being a "welcoming community".Reading other people's reviews here, I'm realising that it's pretty much their global standard practice. Feels like either bankruptcy or class action lawsuit or both are waiting to happen…

TrustpilotGreedy corp. Money over Members.
Think twice before signing an extended lease and read their agreement very carefully. My small business has been on the hook since the pandemic started and have shelled out tens of thousands for an office we can't use. I requested cancellation of the membership and the response is, we'll come after you for the full amount due immediately and take your deposit. WeWork is a billion dollar company, their interest is money, not members. As an extra insult to injury, they are booting us out of a nice space and moving us to a subpar space to make room for a larger company renting the entire floor. Even in light of our space being taken, the response is pay up or we'll come after you. Gross.
