TrustpilotNo weekend service
Out of the 15 times I went to WeWork in March 2021 my card failed to let me in 5 times. Most crucially, one of these failures happened on a very important Saturday. I had dozens of user interviews lined up and couldn't gain access to the building. The WeWork customer service was only open Mon-Fri leaving me with no option but to rent an office for the day at one of their competitors, xyz works. No out reach, no explanation and no apologies. Cancelled my membership on the spot.If you have critical work to be getting on with, WeWork isn't for you.

TrustpilotHorrible Customer Service and Advertising is a Mess
WeWork advertises on their website and locations in Boston that someone can rent a space on a "Pay-by-Day" structure. I was trying to find how to sign up and it was turning out to be impossible, so I chatted with someone through the Contact Us page. After waiting more than an hour for a response, he or she proceeded to tell me that paying by the day is not available in the Boston area. Mind you, this is advertised as $30 in every location in the Boston region. When I questioned him again, the person quite frankly disappeared and never responded when I asked why it was advertised as so. Horrible customer service, and horrible advertising. Do not recommend.

TrustpilotI had a simple question and still not answered
I had a simple question "Is there a mailbox outside the office at Stadhouderskade 5 in Amsterdam?".After calling their only phone number I choose option 1 which was the only option which responded.I could not get a good answer on my question so I have sent my question from their website. The only response I got was a sales email to to entice me into a lease contract.

TrustpilotMinority-owned businesses, please BE AWARE
If you're a minority-owned business, this is not the place for you. "We work" lives up to their name when it comes to "selective policy enforcing" (i.e. discrimination and harassment). When I reported issues with security officer who was leaving my clients out of the building in the freezing cold temperatures of Minneapolis while making explicit verbal threats, instead of backing up the interest of my business and my clients, management started harassing me by ordering to terminate my binding contract immediately without any warning or explanation of any violations (or perceived violations) that me, my clients, or my business may have incurred in. Furthermore, after arranging a move out day that allowed me to fulfill my work-related commitments until the end of the month, I received a harassing call from the Midwest manager falsely accusing me of hosting an unauthorized gathering and not having people properly registered, which was not the case. They deactivated my card and I had to cease services to my clients that day. I was not able to move out in the formerly agreed time, and grabbed whatever I could so I can get out of the building before the situation got more dramatic. I lost over 20K in revenue due to the harassment and discrimination experienced by the WeWork staff. If you want to have peace of mind and save attorney's fees and a headache, please STAY AWAY from this office network because their corporate discrimination is real.

TrustpilotHorrible experience at WeWork CyberCity…
Horrible experience at WeWork CyberCity Gurgaon center which is apparently their biggest center and I travelled quite a distance to get here in hopes to get lesser distraction and get my work done - instead they refused to give me a dedicated workspace and instead offered me a community table with a lot of noise pollution! Pathetic and a complete waste of money!

TrustpilotI rented a dedicated desk at 41 Corsham…
I rented a dedicated desk at 41 Corsham St. N1 6DR London before lockdown and placed my new purchased bike to the bike storage room which was dedicated to wework but hosted by another dorm company Scape. The Scape team led me place my bike into a room where I could not open with the RFID card they gave to me. Every time when I go to lock the my bike they told me there is a problem about doors and it will be fixed soon. When the lockdown took place I wanted to move out of wework. when I went Scape (where my bike is stored) to check my bike I realised that it was stolen. Then Scape managers told me that that room was not the one which was dedicated to wework members use. My bike was stollen because of negligence and fault of the Scape team. I wanted wework to take action for this case which was not my fault at all. However wework team did noting on favour of their customer which is me. I had to confront with all myself but Scape team did not provide anything to me. They could not even provide me the CCTV records so that we could not investigate anything. Do not use wework as they are selling a service which they dont operate and take the responsibility if some fault like this happens. I raised this case a couple of times with the management but no result. They even paid my service retainer fee way more later than in the contract. Please beware of what kind of risk are you taking when hiring a space at wework.

TrustpilotI wish we had researched this site…
I wish we had researched this site prior to engaging with WeWork. The lack of customer service and inability to speak with someone is absolutely absurd!! In trying to authenticate a business (with Articles of Incorporation and proper documentation) it took more than a week and they held up a significant credit card payment. I understand the requirement to authenticate first, but there was ZERO communication as to what was missing to complete the process. Then once authenticated, they still held the settlement (note- the customers credit card cleared within 3 BD, the week it took to authenticate the business). Now another hold and yet another ticket and no response.

TrustpilotTerribly ran business - surviving out of lack of alternatives
Honestly, I have never come across such an awfully ran business. They let you sign up for a product that doesn't exist (i.e. sign up and pay for AllAccess wework, arrived to the building to be told it will be permanently closed, and that I have to book a desk at another location in the city... all of which are fully booked for weeks. To spaces I go!

TrustpilotWorked in a wework for two and a half years. You can do better
Worked in a wework for two and a half years. Most of it was fine but it got progressively worse from when I started Issues:1) staff turnover - every 3 months they move anyone good out to a new building, meaning the staff got worse and worse all the time. In the 2.5 years i was there they changed the manager 4 times and the rest if staff even more often2) crap repair times. In Manhattan functioning elevators is essential. When u work on the 14-25th floor of a building walking up and down is not reallly an option. at any given point one if the two were out of service. While dumping billions into expansion they cant manage to do more than repeatedly band aid a serious issue. Elevator wait times often 10-15 minutes 3) many if the nice community things, like breakfast on Mondays, were cut out. Missmanagement and massive issues with WeWorks business model are well known. Major capital constraints bled through to the services themselves At the end if my time, I can say i will never work at another wework. Will be finding a different coworking company soonWhat sums it up, after 2.5 years in this building 4-5 days a week, the woman who was working didn’t recognize me, and i waited 30 minutes just to be let in the building. The place and its employees suck

TrustpilotLondon- Really, Really Poor
London- Really, really poor.Claimed that the building was open for "key workers" during the coronavirus pandemic. The reality is that they opened the building as the contract states that if they fail to provide office space for 2 months then clients are no longer liable to pay.Trying to negotiate terms with them is a case of smoke and mirrors. You agree a price only for it not to be the price, they will then quote a clause in the contract and add on 3%. The sales/ customer experience is abysmal. They should be ashamed of themselves.

Extremely poor quality office offered with limited. Absolutely no privacy, you can hear and see everything from meeting rooms to phonebooth to offices. It is a very old fashion business model with no much flexibility and being customers centric. Terrible customer service. Feedbacks are only contain within the same team and never reaches the main HQ.The promised services and events are diminishing. I only recommend it as pay as you go shared desk.

TrustpilotONLY Works month to month - longterm is a scam!
Be really aware that there is NO flexibility at all in this fraud concept. Is a good concept but nothing as they advertised.DO NOT make a long term commitment, they will deduct maximum 5 to 10% of the rent pushing you not to do month by month.... but this is the fraud... there is no way to break the commitment, si if you are facing a need to cancel the lease they will take your 100% deposit and on top of that send you to collections.....This concept ONLY works months to months, DO NOT ENGAGED with them, is a total scam the flexibility and “entrepreneurial” concept..... last but not least everything is on the app, so no one try to find a way to compromise or show interest to try to propose something that is not the collection “threat” .... RUN..... the concept should change to #wedontwork!

TrustpilotWework-- Austin Congress office
Wework-- Austin Congress officeThis wework is becoming poor, both on space price and on the service they provide. Don't let the visual vibe fool you while what they can offer is poor. The common area beverage options are down-graded to just water, poor coffee and constantly not available clean forks. The service desk people are very opinionated on what weekly-events they should hold. And the popular free events are always reserved for people who are friends with the front desk. The AC temperatures never is right inside the room. And the key-ed offices and cabinets are usually with cranky keys. Printing apps not working on laptops and printing at printers are PDFs only. I would say wework is going down-hill pretty quickly. Would rather prefer cubical office space over wework if my company switches!

TrustpilotAwful - never ever use WeWork
Awful. They tried to help somewhat when we were first there. Hiked the rents up forcing us to leave for a larger office at a significant saving. Once we left some post arrived. Collected it the first time waiting for the redirect to kick in. I asked if I could pick it up daily for the short time until this happened. Would not help find a solution just returned all post to sender. Whilst there the internet was down for a week. They bought pizza everyday. My team could not work from the office but the pizza was expected to make it better. The money we would have lost that week could have bought a pizza shop had we not managed to find external solutions. It’s noisy. It’s unclean (really unclean). Fixtures and fittings are cheap and break a lot. Staff are rude and self entitled. The place is like a cult. It’s not set up for functioning businesses. If you run a start up and want everyone to see you doing it it’s the place for you. I’d avoid this place at all costs. Spend more if you need to. Just don’t do it.

TrustpilotPossible fraud and unprofessional…
Possible fraud and unprofessional staffs at Wework Suthi, Bangkok branch.A friend of mine attended a meeting at Wework Suthi branch 1 month after its opening. He leaned on a glass whiteboard and weirdly it cracked. There's no CCTV in the area but he informed the front desk, offering to help paying for the damage in which 2 months later he was surprised to received a bill for USD1,200 with no breakdown of detail. The next day me and my friend went down to Wework for a meeting to clarity the detail. The operation and community managers simply said the detail was confidential and the reason for high price was because the material was "imported". I requested to see the cracked whiteboard only to find out that the brand is "Thai Whiteboard", a local brand manufactured in Thai (i.e. NOT IMPORTED)I called on the spot the supplier number engraved on the whiteboard to which the supplier replied in speaker phone that they have supplied to Wework and the cost was USD500 only, including the installation. The Wework managers rudely and illogically accused us and the supplier of misrepresentation of the product and vowed to provide us with breakdown of the cost which shall show that the USD1,200 is made entirely of that particular whiteboard.A week later these Wework managers emailed us the breakdown that showed USD1,200 comprised of USD500 and the rest of USD700 to be "management fee and Misc" from Wework. I'm surprised they had the audacity to make up the balance amount as "management fee and Misc" as they did nothing professionally to solve the issue or to facilitate us to justify the management fee of eye brow raising rate of 68% (seriously, industrial rate for management fee is 2-3%). On top of that, there were no apology for providing false information or false accusation against us.Clearly, the Wework culture in this Suthi Bangkok branch (or Wework as a whole? We cannot comment on that yet) is flawed. From this incident, we can see how untrained, unprofessional, unethical, questionable financials, and desperate the company is. Desperate enough to make a profit out of an accident in such disgraceful manner I have ever seen. Hopefully relevant authority will look into its corporate governance.

TrustpilotIt has been a good experience so far
The offices in Elephant and Castle have been so helpful; not only in terms of its location but the air of ambition that’s swirling within the offices. It really is infectious. The workspace has provide me with the opportunity to network with people that I may not have ordinarily crossed paths with and this has opened up potential business opportunities (fingers crossed). Here’s hoping that these offices continue to stick around and support the great entrepreneurs of tomorrow for years to come.

TrustpilotLAUREN DARNELL - Terrible sales experience
On my tour with Lauren she was extremely arrogant and phony. When my company asked about the free month promotion she told me that was no longer available. However, that was not the case. We had to fight tooth and nail to get what was offered online and she didn’t even think to apologize. Would not recommend WeWork with people like her in the field.

TrustpilotThe worst company - would encourage everyone not to rent an office with them
Pre-COVID, I would have always recommended WeWork. The communication, or should I say, lack of communication has been appalling. Despite emailing WeWork to go about cancelling our contract, in line with their terms and conditions, no one ever responded, and they passed the debt to a debt collection agency. The staff pass you around from pillar to post and no one ever responds to you. Absolutely disgusting that a company can treat its clients in this way.

TrustpilotWeNotFlexibleWork space
The WeWork concept of being a flexible work space for growing businesses is a fraud. Was required to give 2 3/4 months notice for a one year lease. I went to give notice to the front desk at the beginning of the month, they said I had to send a formal email. Sent the formal email and after a week was told we had to provide 60 days notice to move out. Our lease is up in 56 days, so therefore they get an extra months rent. Not a partnership and complete lack of business skills to comprehend what a bad business practice this is. Fool us once your fault...won't fool us again! Good by WeWork, we will grow without you. #WedontWork

TrustpilotDO NOT WORK with this "company"
They have no any respect to a "customer". No listening, force their price, their contract terms, their laws in an unacceptable and agressive way. WEdon't recommand at all this "provider", there are a lot of ones far much better and less expensive.wework should discover what means "WE" as it's not "I" !!!!!

TrustpilotHelpless and rude staff
Helpless and rude staff. Changed their face immidiately after you signed up. Giant babies with no professional skills but look after hundreds of companies. Be careful of their terms and conditions. Never commit to any long lease with WeWork. You cannot terminate the contract. You cannot down-size.Don't trust any sales from WeWork. They say anything to trick you in and then you will never see them again afterwards. WeWork grows too fast without proper training. The most horrible thing is that you pay over £1,000 for a desk in a private office with glass partitions only. WeWork then sell loads of hot desks. You have no privacy and no way to concentrate on your work. All you can is to enjoy the loud music, loud phone calls, loud laughs from WeWork giant babies.
