Sold for £20k over asking, and over home report value in 18 days. Cannot thank Alan Shields enough; from the start everything was more than we expected. Amazing photography and video from Agata, and brilliant marketing from Alan. Will never use another agent now, Alan and the technology and approach Nested use blow any competition out the water and are a force to be reckoned with. Don’t just ‘sell your house,’ but get yourself an Estate Agent and property expert for life, that’s what we have now in Alan. All we can say is thank you, and anyone who doesn’t sell with you is a numpty. Transparent, prompt and motivated throughout, and the tech speaks for itself!

I fully recommend Nested as an agent

I fully recommend Nested as an agent. I sold my house through them and they did everything they could to make life easy for us - from ensuring they organised viewings one after the other to make things convenient for us, to the hand holding that the Conveyancing Progressor did to ensure that everything ran smoothly. I've worked with quite a few Estate Agents in the past and they really are the best, with a unique model and top quality employees who know their stuff. We worked with Chris, Jamie and Nicole. Finally - an estate agents that can do so much more than the others!

I got in touch with Nested when I was worried that our sale with a different estate agent would fall through. To be totally honest, I didn't expect them to be any different than other estate agents, but I was pleasantly surprised. Everyone I spoke to was highly professional and knowledgeable. I was really impressed that they use data science - that's what modern estate agents should do. Nested make everyone else in the industry look like "dinosaurs". Even though I wasn't selling a property with them, Nested provided me with a free comprehensive Buyers Report for a property I was interested in. Again, I was really impressed! There was a lot of useful information and market data, neatly summarised in easy to understand graphs. The information they provided helped me reach a decision that I was confident was the right one. Nested are definitely the estate agents I would use next time I need the service.

Refreshingly different

Our previous experiences with estate agents haven't always been positive, so I'm really pleased to say that Nested were absolutely fantastic. We were made to feel like we mattered (whereas in the past we were just another property to sell), were highly professional and kept us fully updated with clear and prompt communication. And importantly we were able to sell our property at a time of high Brexit uncertainty. I just wish we hadn't wasted time with other agents and had come to Nested first! I highly recommend them!

100% fantastic experience - sold in 3 weeks!

Our experience with Nested has been genuinely amazing. Not only did they sell our property within 3 weeks (we couldn't even sell in 5 months when on the market last year with a high st agent) but all aspects of the service have been great. Reiss, our agent was friendly, knowledgeable, honest and always in communication with us - I never had to chase him for anything. The property photos were a cut above other agents' we'd used, they grouped the viewings together conveniently for us and the online portal with the viewing feedback was great. It meant we got proper detailed written feedback from all our viewings very quickly. We chose Nested because of the cash advance service they can offer but we didn't even need to use it and we couldn't be happier. Fantastic all round!

The brilliant Nested got me £17k over listing price

As a first time seller it was really important to have an agent I could trust, who would also guide me through the whole selling process and make sure we got the best outcome from our move. Thankfully I found that with Nested. When I first spoke to the sales team they were really friendly and gave great advice on how to get the best price; from the marketing strategy, to dressing the apartment before viewings and the finishing touches to really make it stand out to buyers.Our sales agent Josh was brilliant and managed to get multiple offers on the flat and we ended up selling for well over asking price, getting £17,000 more than we were listed for! The sale then went through really quickly and having a dedicated sales progressor definitely helped ease the process.Needless to say I will be back in touch with Nested when it's time to sell again and will happily be recommending them to friends and family in the meantime!

Reiss Braniff - great experience with Nested

Reiss Braniff has done a great job so far.The initial appointment went well, where Reiss explained the benefits and process behind Nested.The photos were great, much better than my previous agents, where it was on the market for months with no movement.Once on the market, Reiss had booked in 5 viewings in the first week where one made an offer.Reiss is very quick to respond via text and email at all hours of the day, I’m starting to wonder if he ever has any time off but I’m seriously very impressed.

Nested - It's the people who make it extra special

My wife and I worked with Nested to sell our property in South London and the whole team were first-class from start to finish. I would recommend them without hesitation even if you aren't considering their cash advance model. There are always bumps along the way when selling a property - we had our fair share, all of which were beyond our control (or Nested's). The whole team were incredibly supportive throughout and it really felt like they went the extra mile to do everything they could to help us through the process. The Nested team is the only thing I'll miss about the house buying / selling process!

Nested have been fantastic to deal with…

Nested have been fantastic to deal with from the beginning of the process all the way through - from Business Manger, to Photographer, to Sales negotiator to Conveyancing Progression. Communication has been superb and they have been transparent and professional throughout. They were the third agent we worked with in our sale and we would have saved ourselves a sale fall through and a lot of stress and angst if we had gone with them in the first place. I wish I had known about them earlier. I recommend Nested with no hesitation at all.

Pleasant but not proactive

I went with Nested as I was thinking about an alternate to the traditional estate agent. Harriet came to originally value the flat and she was lovely, I had a few other estate agents also value to assure myself the price was about right and they all said the same price.After I was passed onto Elliott/ the other team I have to say I wasn't particularly impressed. Only one person came to view the flat, who did offer but so low compared to the asking price and after a huge amount of back and forth for tiny increments his top offer was still £9k under the asking price. I had already indicated at the beginning of the process I did not need to sell the property in order to buy a new one (not due to the Nested advance which I did look into but the fees were very high and I didn't like the amount of control Nested would have over the process). They tried to push me into accepting this low offer by continually stressing that the buyer 'loved' the property (yet it was clearly out of his price range) which I found a complete waste of time. I don't want someone to try push me into selling just so they can keep their stats of 'selling within 2 weeks' when I clearly stated I could wait to achieve that/ near the price.The final nail in the coffin for Nested was when Elliott told me that 'the market was forcing them to be reactive rather than proactive' which he later tried to backtrack on when I expressed my shock at that statement, but I'm afraid that just made me think they weren't doing anything except putting it up online which rather defeats the purpose of using an estate agent.I have since ended by contract with Nested as I don't think the model works unless you want to sell your property fast (and aren't concerned with achieving the asking price) but also if your property is a typical property so that their metrics can track it, if your property is more unique for a specific type of buyer then I don't think they really work. All in all, I wouldn't use them again but it wasn't an unpleasant experience.

Adam Anker is the agent for N1!

This was my first time selling a property so I'm glad I made the right choice and had Adam as my agent. As an overseas seller was able to put my trust in Adam to do the right thing. His appraisal and valuation of the apartment was clear and honest and he took extra care in presenting the flat in it's best possible light. Adam was easily contactable and I appreciate the effort and he went through to get the best possible price for me. I really enjoyed working with Adam and liked the fact he was able to offer options on the best way forward for the outcome I needed. He is an obviously very experienced realtor who went above and beyond to get a deal done.The Nested app is another highlight, and kept me up to date in real time on viewings and viewing feedback.

Friendly, clear & efficient communication

We recently bought through Tom Cottrell, Tom was great he had good knowledge of the area, he was friendly and made the whole experience personal. He was always available over text, responding quickly and acting as a direct correspondent between us and the seller making the whole experience easy and warm. Beware of recommended Solicitors

The Nested team (especially Nicole) worked hard to guide the process in difficult circumstances, but the insistence upon the use of their recommended solicitors is a negative, particularly when Connect 2 Law made the process harder by effectively being a ‘conveyancing call centre’ proving hard to contact in almost all circumstances and to answer a phone call with a message that says “ your call will be answered in approximately 15 minutes” or leave a message, and when you opt to leave a message it then cuts you off. Impersonal e-mails without an identified sender don’t help either. They also managed to lose one set of paperwork, taking 2 weeks to let me know they hadn’t received it. Laura was the exception and proved a great help, but otherwise little to recommend them as a solicitor.

Excellent service from Adam Anker. Adam gave pragmatic and sensible advice at the beginning of the process about how best to value the property, and I truly believe as a result of this approach we achieved the best price in a difficult market. From accepting an offer, we were presented with many challenges, not least a buyer who seemed keen to renegotiate and reduce the offer every other week. That was frustrating, but we were grateful to have Adam on our side, to navigate this turbulent approach and we ended up with selling the property for the price we originally accepted. I thoroughly recommend Adam Anker, he is an excellent estate agent.

Awful company, avoid at all costs

This will be the first time I have been tempted to leave a bad review for a company via a public post on Facebook. But, in this case I feels it’s completely justified. Let me explain why you should avoid Nested at all costs. Everyone knows moving house is incredibly stressful. Thanks to current market conditions, Brexit etc anyone who puts their property on the market these days is probably feeling insecure. This could be said for us but we decided to test our luck and we put our property on the market at the start of August.Few facts:1. A property less nice than ours on the exact same road had sold 3 months previously for a price we would have been very happy with2. Other properties nearby going for prices that we’d be happy with in the 1st and 2nd quarter of 2018We had a few viewings but nothing came of them in the first couple weeks. I then saw some advertising from Nested on Facebook. “We can give you 95% of your property value up front before you’ve sold.” “Negotiate as a chain-free buyer and save ~4% on your next purchase.” “Our agency will get you the best price on the market.” Sounded too good to be true right.I thought nothing to lose and gave them a call, we had several phone conversations with one of their sales reps in head office. Each call was laced with comments like “you have to understand the market is not what it was,” “we will get you the best price possible.” Finally they sent round a different sales rep to meet at our home - we ended up having a debate with him, he spent the hour he was with us repeating in many different ways that the price today will be the best price for at least a year. He also brought some comparable which showed properties nearby which had sold for low figures, but they were far less nice. He omitted the real comparables which gave us the confidence we could get a good price for our place. To cut a long story short Nested made us an offer of 90% of their perceived value of our property. This 90% value was shockingly low. The offer they’d made would not have made a house move worthwhile and made us feel very pessimistic about our chances. We decided to try anyway and see what would happen in the normal market - 4 weeks later and we had an offer on our place confirmed which was £80k higher than Nested were prepared to offer and we sold for 12% more than Nested predicted our house will sell for. We’ve now completed on our sale and purchase.In my opinion people should avoid this company at all costs. Nested will breed fear into you to make you believe that you will get a far lower price for your property than you actually can on the market. If companies like Nested make a big impact on the property market, all they will do is to negatively impact the market by driving prices down. Rant over! All has ended well, but no thanks to Nested!

Great Service, Selling with the minimum of Stress.From the first contact with Sharief to having Alex and then Josh take over the sale I have been extremely pleased with the Nested team and ethos.Sharief explained the Nested model and fees clearly and answered all my queries (and there were many!) whenever I called/e-mailed.Sharief recommended some works to the property whether or not I went with Nested. Once signed up he arranged for the works to be carried out and even arranged for a cleaner (at Nested’s expense) to help us clear the dust once the workmen had finished.Throughout the whole process the team has been in constant contact to ensure things were progressing and offering assistance.Both Alex & Josh have ensured a constant stream of viewings and I have been impressed with their enthusiasm. Everyone I have dealt with has been friendly, efficient and professional. Normal working hours don’t seem to apply to these guys !Their concept is exactly what is needed within the industry and I hope they go from strength to strength. I would thoroughly recommend them and would definitely use them agin.26.10.2018 UpdateWe exchanged on our property today. There were a lot of mishaps with buyers letting us down at the last moment and the property took a lot longer to sell than expected.Throughout the (long) process The Nested team remained positive and sold the property for 99% of the expected selling price.For me the Nested model is second to none ! Having drawn down the funds we have been in our new property for nine months. If we had used a high street agent we would not have been able move on until the property was sold. Enabling people to do this stands Nested streets ahead of other agents.Yes the 3% fee is higher than other agents but being a cash buyer enabled us to negotiate a lower price on the new property as the seller did not want to tied up in a chain.A big thank you to the Nested team.Sharief - for explaining the whole process when signing up. I rarely if ever review companies.

I rarely if ever review companies as im usually of the opinion that good service should be a given in business, but dealing with Nested was a refreshingly different experience. Nested was recommended to me by a close friend who knew that quickly available funds was perfect for my situation. I was helped from the start by Hannah who took the time to cheerfully and expertly answer my seemingly never ending stream of questions and put my cynical mind at ease. If im completely honest I thought the whole thing sounded to good to be true but now I think this really is a brilliant way to sell your home and hopefully will make the rest of the market sit up and take notice. Sadly in my instance and partly because of the infancy of Nested my property didn't fall into a category that they are currently able to work with. Yet despite this and with nothing to gain for themselves Hannah took time out to research and e mail me very useful information that would enable me to choose the best local estate agents for my market. Service above and beyond and for that im very grateful. although now I don't really want to go back to the old fashioned way of selling either. haha

A progressive, forward thinking company

Nested was recommended to me by someone who has just used its service and was very impressed with its operation. Nested was unable to take on my son's apartment as it is above commercial premises. However, despite not becoming a client, Hannah spent time and effort in giving me very useful advice and information to help me with the sale. She could not have been more helpful and interested in our situation. Although, it is a relatively new company, I have the impression they want to provide a first class, quality service and I think the concept is both refreshing and forward thinking. I just wish they could have helped us!

Lured in but probably too good to be true

Disappointed with Nested having got to the valuation stage but then choosing to walk away when the maths simply didn't work.Felt a little bit like a 'we buy any car experience' as all the early indications were that our current valuation of the property was fairly reasonable, but after going through the process and getting to the all important valuation, the value they applied to our property suddenly dropped by almost 10% (and 5% less than our high street agents suggested we drop to). Of course once you factor in the max 95% advance (where there's then next to no incentive for them to sell above this) that's at least a 15% discount on the original figures we discussed on the phone. There's absolutely no doubt that if I wanted to sell my property quickly, I could drop the price by 15%, and I'd also only pay only the normal agency fees of 1.5%. In the end, I couldn't see what Nested were offering me other than possibly a friendly service.In their defence, everyone I spoke to was absolutely professional, extremely well trained and really lovely so the team is great and I understand the idea is very solid but only *if the valuations are competitive*. I can see the model working for someone who's chain has collapsed so time is of the essence, but if you're not in a state of desperation then you'd be better off holding your nerve or just dropping the price with your traditional agents.
