GoogleQuick, efficient, and transparent costs right from first contact. Andrius was great. We had spent over 2 months looking for a property meeting a lot of unorganized agents. Andrius knew all the details about the flat and was fantastic at getting back to us on all our questions. Zero negatives .

He was extremely helpful and answered my messages even out of hours and weekends when I wasn't expecting a reply straight away. I found all the staff to be professional and friendly and they provide an extremely efficient service.

GoogleI needed to speak to Black Katz to clarify some issues regarding tenancy of a property on my behalf of my daughter which she is soon to take up. I can honestly say that Alicia at the London Bridge office was most helpful and gave me all the help and information I needed in a most reassuring manner and immediately allayed all my concerns. Alicia’s customer service skills and telephone manner are excellent; thank you for all your assistance last Friday.

GoogleGreat costumer service and friendly approach. I walked to the agency to find an apartment to rent, left my details and the next day Sandro sent me all the options suitable. Booked the viewings and managed to secure one of the flat. Overall process was smooth and not painful like other agencies. Thanks a lot to all the team I can’t wait to move in!

GoogleMay God grant everyone who has had to use this wretched company patience. They don’t reply to any problem - we were without a functioning fridge tray for a year. They will look for any excuse to take chunks of out your deposit. They pinned multiple things already present at the property on us just to rob money off the deposit. Took £400 to “clear the garden” which they callously did not tell us we were responsible to keep clean, but a few months later the garden was exactly how we’d left it. Avoid like the plague. I’d honestly risk living on the streets and getting tuberculosis before using this company ever again. Typical thieving estate agent - nothing unexpected in London. Deal directly with a landlord and avoid these predatory companies if you are able.

GoogleAs a tenant, I can't see myself giving more than 1 star to any agency, considering how they make use of their power over us. But considering our experience with Black Katz, I think they particularly deserve a bad review. My reasons to think that are: - After our first year in the flat, in 2018 they tried to increase the rent without asking the landlord. Once we realized, and the landlord confirmed us that they were happy with the current rent, Black Katz offered us to half the admin fees that year (I think just to avoid us to raise this issue to a higher level). - In consecutive years they have been charging us abusive admin fees (something I understand is common for all agencies). However, even after the approval of the new tenants act, they refused to update this payment to a more reasonable amount or update the contract to decrease this payment for coming years.

GoogleThe agent was 45 minutes late to the first viewing. The first place had already been let and the new tenant answered the door while he was trying to unlock it! The second place he didn't have the right keys for. The third place we couldn't find and walked around for about 30 mins before he realized his "deal sheet" had an incorrect address. Added £200 "inventory fee" at the last minute. Then, when we had been through all that, didn't bother to check with the landlord about number of tenants (wanted exactly 2 people in a 2 bed flat). Extremely disorganized. Honestly, one of the worst experiences I have ever had in my life.

Google4 months to return deposit, flat was dirty and smoked in at start of tenancy yet charged for cleaning on move out. door got stuck unlocked and took days to convince them we needed a lock Smith. Lost passport copies. Lost bank references. sent me emails for other property deposit return twice and didn't even acknowledge when I highlighted mistake. No escalation process for complaints so no way of resolving issues with property manager. I wouldn't trust them with personal data at all.

GoogleThese people do not even deserve one star. I've never been a person to write a review, let alone a bad one, but I felt the need to go out of my way to alert people to how unprofessional, disorganised and flat out RUDE these estate agents are. Never in my life have I dealt with more unprofessional people (not limited to Estate Agents - the most unprofessional people I've EVER had to deal with in ANY context). You won't be dealing with one agent, but several will harass you constantly, they will completely ignore your wishes with bully tactics until they either do what they want anyway, or you give in because they are so annoying. 7 different agents have contacted me personally - another 2 have contacted my housemate. I'm still unsure as to how they got my personal phone number either - my work number was provided on the rental application (which I still have a copy of). They have had my name wrong THREE different times, as three completely different names (despite my constant corrections), they have said that they had "just spoken to me" when they had in fact called my MALE housemate. They have disturbed me at work multiple times (despite me interrupting and saying that it wasn't a good time to talk, could we speak later (nor did they ask or apologise for the inconvenience)). Once the property was rented, 3 of them all then sent me rude, passive-aggressive text messages to my personal phone regarding the process. The biggest issued was that they TRESPASSED onto the property, despite express refusal at consistent (not one or two) viewings at unreasonable times and also argue that you agreed to said trespassing over the phone with a different colleague, during a conversation which was completely unrelated. All of this is done whilst try to argue that what they are saying is (inaccurately) "by law", despite me having extensive knowledge of such "laws", and also knowing having extensive knowledge as my rights as a tenant. Disgraceful. Avoid at all costs.
