GoogleBE VERY CAREFUL PEOPLE. THEY PROLONG GIVING YOUR DEPOSIT BACK. THEY ONLY INSURE IT SO THEY STILL HAVE ACCESS TO THE FUNDS AND WHEN YOU ASK FOR IT BACK THEY PROLONG. Atkinson Mcleod takes very seriously the return of deposits to tenants after a tenancy has ended. We employ a number of people specifically to do this job and aim to return deposits in a timely manner.
Atkinson Mcleod hold deposits in deposit schemes on behalf of Landlords and do not have ultimate authority to return them to Tenants. We have to rely on the TDS Tenancy deposit scheme for approval along with the Landlords before we can return any Monies.
We understand this can be frustrating for all concerned.

GoogleImpossible company. Been trying to rent a flat through them for a few months to no avail. Properties being added and taken off the website countless times and not able to book a viewing even though we enquired more than once. Book a viewing system through emails, but no functionality through the website, and then no confirmation when you do book a viewing. I wouldn't use Atkinson McLeod again if they paid me to do so! As a tenant the experience is awful. You have to keep on chasing them and asking for update even when basic necessity things like electricity and boiler stop working, and still they behave rudely and don't care about anything else but money.

GoogleI previously wrote a positive review but unfortunately I take back everything I said. Avoid at all costs if you don’t want to be misled. Our letting agent misled us from the beginning and miscommunicated very important information. Then when confronted about it, was extremely rude and unprofessional and would not take responsibility in order to move forward. The issue has been ongoing for MONTHS and I still don’t know what utilities are covered by the landlord and what I need to pay for (I have lived in the flat 7 months!!) I have sent email after email and still haven’t received a solution from property management or the management team. GoogleVery poor and unprofessional management while negotiating for a tenancy agreement. The communication between the agent and myself was really poor. We had an agreement and I had paid the holding deposit, but suddenly a day after there was a different agency which offered better terms to the landlord so they rejected my offer. By the time of our agreement, I spoke with the agent and she confirmed that the landlord she would have accepted my offer and I have to pay the holding deposit to process with the reference check which I did.NegativeProfessionalism

But I haven't received any updates for a while (It took almost 3 months to get an update), but the PIC has been changed as Arshia Khan. Unlike the previous property manager, she was very quick to respond. And she knew what the problem was and how she could help me out.
