Do NOT use this agent. Avoid at all costs. My partner and I rented a flat for the past year and when we arrived, the flat was uninhabitable due to electrical issues we were not aware of. We also got charged for additional water heating costs as the boiler had been left on the ‘peak setting’ before we arrived. Atkinson McLeod were unwilling to provide any compensation.In addition, the electrician who came to fix our flat (one provided by AM) caused further destruction, and AM tried to take the costs of fixing his breakages from our deposit.Finally, it was a nightmare trying to reclaim our deposit, and it took almost two months of pushing before we finally received it.
