GoogleGreat experience in dealing with this agency. My agent Vilmis and the letting coordinator Sammi were extremely helpful and efficient dealing with my situation. They are both really competent and reactive which was really reassuring for a first real rental experience in the UK. It lead to a very quick process and I'm very happy with the overall experience. I would definitely recommend this agency and more specifically the professionals I dealt with.

GoogleAfter a very trying time with our previous estate agents and their management department, my partner and I thought things couldn't be worse next time. How wrong we were. Since we signed the quality of service has plummeted. The lack of communication over several pressing issues has been appalling: it takes multiple emails for a response, and the office seems to be permanently unreachable. Everything has been a battle. Avoid.

GoogleThank you Lauren and Monty! Our toilet broke completely - I was totally stressed out, especially working from home... Lauren emailed me back within the hour and put me in direct contact with Monty, the contractor/plumber, who replaced the parts and fixed the toilet within 24 hours. Can not thank Lauren and Monty enough. Both were speedy, polite, helpful and professional. Thank you!

GoogleI had a great experience while I was searching a property to rent. The agent Mark Johnson was really helpful and really keen to show me as many properties as possible, especially since it was a week-day and I was able to meet him only after I finished work (after 6:30pm). We ended up visiting 3 properties which all met the standards and criteria that I was looking for.

She was very polite and showed us around the property taking time to explain every element and our options for conditions of rent based on the landlords communications. She has gone on to offer other suitable options and drove us to an alternative property after explaining there was another that was a great fit for us.

We sold our flat in Oval through Atkinson McLeod, from March 2021 through to exchanging in December the same year. Our agent was Paul Darko. He was excellent: experienced, very responsive to emails. The sale was not an easy process, but Paul was always on hand for swift and direct encouragement and advice. Would highly recommend!

GoogleCharlotte Brain was incredibly friendly and super helpful as she showed me a property to rent on the Isle of Dogs. I'm new to the area so I didn't know much, but she went above and beyond explaining everything and then followed up regarding other options. Charlotte will definitely be one of the first people I contact if I'm looking for another property in the future!

Gilbert is a great agent, we moved from larger agent who couldn’t sell our property to AM who did. I believe this was largely down to Gilbert determination and drive to get it sold. The times he wasn’t around the service did suffer. But if you get Gilbert then great!

Sebastian was always proactive to contact me to make sure I was aware of the latest available properties. We saw a few properties, but they were unfortunately what we were looking for, however, I was pleased with Sebastian's attitude and customer service. We ended up finding a property somewhere else, but Sebastian was by far the mos diligent agent that we were in touch with.

From beginning to end of tenancy appalling service. Our original offer was misrepresented to the landlords, locking us in to a 2 year lease.We received no check-in report and then were accused of stealing items which were not present when we moved in.We had a leak in our bedroom which we reported and chased for 7 months. It took this long to identify it was raw sewage from upstairs neighbours and a further 2 months to fix the leak and replace damaged carpet. During this time no one from Atkinson McLeod came to view the issue and we were forced to deal with multiple contractors, taking time off work to sort the problem.At the end of our tenancy it took 2.5 months to get our deposit back. Atkinson McLeod tried to have us remove our dispute before they had paid the agreed funds. Total con-artists. Avoid at all costs. We would never rent through them again.

We have had an awful experience letting from Atkinson McLeod. On the day we were due to move in, while en route to the property, we got a call to say we wouldn't be able to as there had been a major leak (which had begun several weeks before, but no-one has detected as the property hadn't been checked when the previous tenants moved out). Our move in date was delayed by 3 weeks and we were not refunded rent for several months. When we did move in, we discovered that lots of the furniture was broken, which the landlord refused to replace and Atkinson McLeod had not noted as broken in the inventory. The damage from the leak was not dealt with for several months after we moved in, leading to severe damp in the property, with black mould growing all over the walls. 1.5yrs later, we are still having to live in a damp flat, which causes allergies to myself and my housemate - there is mould growing in our mattresses and black mould on the walls. Atkinson Mcleod have frequently been rude when we contact them, and have also been unresponsive. I have never had such a bad letting agency / property management company - I cannot recommend strongly enough not to use them!

WOULDN'T GO NEAR THIS AGENCY WITH A BARGE POLE!!!I went through the canary wharf office to purchase a property in E14 area last year. The agency dropped down on the price in rightmove and had an offer agreed with me and our solicitors were engaged to draft and exchange contracts. Meanwhile, the price of the property was increased backup in Zoopla to identify another buyer. Once another prospective buyer was identified who could pay the higher price, the seller's solicitor stopped sharing information and atkinson mcleod went silent on my follow ups just a few weeks before exchange of contracts. If you are a buyer your interests are not kept in mind and its a considerable waste of time dealing with them. What matters to them is the commission they get from the seller.If you are dealing with them then get them to remove the advertisements from all marketing sites as a prerequisite. (which they will try to dissuade you from requesting).

Atkinson Mcleod were excellent at finding tenants. They are also generally prompt in responding to questions. Communication was not clear however re the terms of the break clause which resulted in my I paying double fees for the overlapping month between outgoing and incoming tenants. Also, there was confusion around the release of the deposit, which I held. Both myself and the tenant were sent forms to indicate AM held the deposit. Apart from this, the staff are helpful and they excel at finding new tenants.

He showed us two lovely apartments but unfortunetly the move in date for the one we wanted was too late for us, so we had to let it go.We would definitly contact james again if we will search for a new home in the future.
