Wonderful experience with Blessing and Atkinson McLeod. Blessing was open, communicative and made every effort to make sure we got the home we wanted with minimal stress and hassle. We were always able to get in contact, ask questions, and above all enjoyed meeting and speaking with her as she is such a pleasure to be around. She gave a very personable and highly professional service, far superior to a lot of the smoke and mirrors treatment we got from other estate agents. She was a breath of a fresh air in our search. Hi there,I had a great experience the estate agents and special thanks to Blessings. The quality of their services and their professionalism in every aspect of their business was great. Blessing’s who was consistently professional, polite and extremely knowledgable made sure to understand my needs when looking for a property to rent.It was a long experience since we wanted to stay at many different locations. However, with the help of Blessing’s, she was able to keep us at ease and show us the best places available for our criteria. Without a doubt she did not waste our time when viewing houses that we did not like and was friendly throughout. A brilliant estate agency. Dealt with the sale of my property with extreme efficiency and sold it in one week. I had the pleasure of working with Eva and Ed. The property was photographed and marketed in a few days and viewings commenced straight away. They found a buyer in a week and Ed went through the sales process chasing solicitors and buyer info every week. We completed today (7 weeks from start to finish) which in this market in London is not easy to do. The best agency and agents I've had the pleasure to work with. I've had real problems with previous agents in canary wharf area promising they can sell the property and never delivering. Not the case with Atkinson Mcleod canary wharf branch.

The estate agents, especially Blessing and Olivier, were very helpful from start to finish. They were both friendly and welcoming. We had previously been shown properties blind but other estate agents and the flat we ended up renting did not have pictures at the time. However, Blessing went above and beyond by sending a video. They were both very helping in making sure all the paper work was sorted promptly and both responsive on email and on the phone

Staff needs retraining

Worst experience ever - with Gilbert. He appears to not understand building relationships with future buyers. Rather than just tell me straight up "I won't be showing you any flats", he decided to take the circular route and repeatedly ask indirectly "would you be happy if your estate agents showed your house to customers who couldn't immediately buy". I told him I wouldn't mind at all because I understand buyers want to scope an area, and agents should be building relationships. Phrases I used were "do you realise you've told me the same thing 4 times... 5 times now..." and "are you going to show me any flats then" - it reminded me of those exchanges with politicians on BBC Question Time.

This review is for Philip Bullman - the estate agent who recently sold me my first flat. I have to recommend Philip's service in the highest terms possible. From my first viewing, he handled my purchase with a phenomenal level of expertise and experience, as well as with urgency to move things along quickly.Philip stands out, however, for his immense patience and kindness. He went out of his way time and again to help me (and I really needed the help, as I barely knew what I was doing!). He visited the property with me to take curtain measurements. He dealt patiently and compassionately with a few hairy moments along the way. Maybe the best mark of Philip as a great person to deal with is the way he visited the flat days after completion once I'd actually moved in - to help me figure out how to work the boiler. I feel very indebted and thankful to him and hope to buy or sell a property again with him one day. His great integrity overturns the unfair, negative and prevalent general stereotype of estate agents.

Philip Bullman is Amazing, Outstanding, Brilliant Support & Honest

In my heading I have used the words “Philip Bullman is Amazing, Outstanding, a Brilliant Support & most importantly Honest”, which doesn’t go far enough to justify his efforts. Philip (Sales Manager at the Balham Branch) worked tirelessly to make sure that we sold our property during this challenging market. We had many many stumbling points, but Philip showed a lot of tenacity and focus to make sure that we succeeded in a sale. He was always updating me and introduced other members of the team to work on the sale. In the end, it was Philip that stepped up and managed the sale from beginning to end. Amazing experience (agent Perla)

Since I cannot talk in the name of others or other agents from this agency, I will only relate to my personal experience :Amazing experience. Had been through a lot of agencies so far and each one of them had a bad agent who was only focused on getting their money. Perla Pandele from Atkinson McLeod was really focused on providing the best experience, customer focused and analysed what we need from the new location (travel areas, comfort and commuting) and helped us with everything from the beginning until the final point of moving. I think agencies should be more focused on getting agents like this who really care about what people want from the new home since this is the only reason which made me pick Atkinson McLeod (the agent) instead all other thousands of horrible agencies from London who train their agents only to get people's money without thinking about the repercussions of this mindset.With all this being said, I recommend Atkinson McLeod as an agency and especially Perla with all integrity.

Excellent Services Provided By AtkinsonMcLeod …

Since the time of my first phone call to engage in inquiries for putting my father’s Flat on the market for sale, AtkinsonMcLeod has always placed my interest first and foremost. Due to the time difference between England and Canada communications could have been a potential problem. However Paul did not miss a beat, his timing was good, and in the event I was not available I would receive an email, sometimes both to keep me in the loop. The service was at all times was very professional. But that did not prevent him from expressing kind words when my husband was hospitalized with a heart attack, or when we celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary. Paul went over and above to assist me during the times when I faced challenges, not having any relatives in UK he always tried to help. I have been living in London for 10 years and I have never dealt with a more useless and unprofessional agency. They are very nice to you when they need all the money before you move in but completely inept afterwards. I left the property beginning of June, and as soon as I left the keys I had to FIGHT to get my deposit back. Over 30 emails and phone calls and nobody would help/answer me. I had to take everything to the legal route, and they were claiming money for missing furniture that they agreed to remove with the approval of the landlord before I moved in. Finally: a decent estate agent!

Like a lot of people, I have had bad experiences with estate agents in the past, and while looking for a flat to rent earlier in the year, was at the end of my tether after a series of unsatisfactory encounters with a couple of the big high street chains. However, I had my faith in the industry restored when my girlfriend and I found our flat through Atkinson McLeod. The estate agent we dealt with - Mark Johnson - was erudite, knowledgable and, shock horror, actually responsive whenever we needed to contact him. When we lost out on the flat we were keen on, Mark was able to show us other properties also available to rent that matched what we were after, rather than just showing us unsuitable ones he had to get off his books. Overall very impressed with the service

STAY AWAY FROM THEMMy husband and I found an apartment we really liked and the agent told us that no one made an offer on it for the last 8 months, and encouraged us to make an offer, even if it was low. We did just that, and she immediately came back and told us that someone made a higher offer at the same time, and asked if we could go higher. It was already suspicious how she found these other people to make a higher offer the moment we submitted ours, but we decided we liked the place, and increased our offer. The ‘other bidder’ didn’t want to go higher, and we agreed on a price with the seller and started the process of buying our first home, so we have our own nest in a few months when our first baby arrived. On Rightmove it wrote that the property was no longer available, which was comforting.We hired solicitors and got the mortgage broker involved in obtaining the mortgage for us. The broker was slow and not very good, so we hired another guy, and three weeks into the process, we had the funds pre approved. At this stage, Candy, our agent, called us and said that someone who’d seen the property 7 months earlier (?!) had called her and made a higher offer than ours, and that she was obligated to pass that onto the vendors. Where were all these offers coming from, if no one had made an offer on the flat the previous 8 months? I wouldn’t be surprised if the moment we made our first offer, she started calling anyone who previously expressed an interest to let them know someone made an offer and try to get them to do the same.The new offer was quite a bit higher, so we missed out on the apartment, as well as lost money on solicitors and the mortgage broker for no reason. Not to mention all the time we wasted because we have a baby on the way and the clock is ticking. Overall a very disappointing experience, do not trust Atkinson McLeod as all they want is to make an extra buck and don’t care about you as a buyer in the least.

We will never use Atkinson McLeod…

We will never use Atkinson McLeod again! My wife and I had found our perfect first home to buy near Victoria Park. We have a baby due in November and it would have been perfect timing to move in and make it our own before our baby came into this world. Candy Foy was our agent and seemed to be okay although many things she said were very vague and misleading and she told us there had been no offers on the property for 9 months so she was confident we would get the property. We negotiated a price, it was accepted and we went off to find our mortgage lender. The day we found our lender, Candy Foy emails us saying there has been another higher offer put in and asked if we could go higher! 21k higher! We had our offer accepted so how could this happen? This practice is illegal in most countries and should be illegal here in the UK! In any case, We could not go higher because we went over budget on our original offer. When we asked Candy Foy how this could happen, she told us she is legal obliged to put this offer in because these other people had viewed the property months earlier?? Really? We think after our offer went in, Candy Foy called all her past clients to try get a higher offer and therefore a higher commission! Now we are trying to find our first home before our baby comes along. Candy Foy and AtkinsonMcLeod are unprofessional, unethical and should be avoided at all cost!

Although she had to rush off to an appointment straight after me, she carefully listened to my criteria, but didn't rush me.
