TrustpilotPlease stay away!
Honestly could not have a more crappy experience and lost a ton of money. Advertised a property as having a certain income but it was completely false. They said property was ready to have a HMO license applied for but I had to spend tons on renovation. If you do not want to lose your money please stay away because they cannot be trusted in what they say.

GoogleThe best commercial agents I've dealt with, both on the buy and sell side. Jack Robson and Mark Ibbotson are diligent agents and have been very helpful throughout my experiences with them on multiple deals. They're both very personable and give me unbias advice whenever it's needed.

GoogleTried to buy a property at residential auction. Didn't get approved in time to place our bid. The place sold well below our budget. So not only did we lose out, the buyer did as well. They had 7+ hours to approve our account and left it until 10 minutes before to request more details, which we still provided within minutes. loosing a bid is one thing, loosing a bid due to incompetence is another.

GoogleVery poor service done everything and paid deposit to the Company hadn’t sent the relevant info before the auction and then was approved to bid and the system would let me place a bid wouldn’t recommend this auction as they don’t help nor find a solution to resolve the issue !!!VERY POOR ALLSOP AUCTION!!! Would honestly tell people don’t use them as you will be disappointed when you have been registered and approved but still aren’t able to bid

TrustpilotSpend your whole wage check for rent
Avoid at all cost!!! They overcharge for rent, don’t answer when needing to contact them. The houses inside have cracks on the walls, ceilings and skirting boards, and have holes. If you want to spend your whole wage check on a house to live go ahead.

I ask twice for viewing the flat I want rent. They all said they will give me a virtual viewing that day, but they never show up. Very unprofessional service. Staff full with lies.

I went to view what looked like a great house going to auction. Around 20 people turned up and stood outside for a good 40 minutes whilst their representative tried several bunches of keys in the front and back as the keys he had been given didn't work. Still couldn't get in! Then the next day the property photos had totally changed with a different postcode. The morons had advertised the wrong property!! Instead of a beautiful house it was a 'hole of a house'! It's a good job that the people residing in the house where everyone turned up weren't at home as if I suddenly had 20 people in my garden looking through my windows I'd have called the police. Not only did they waste an hour and a half of my time travelling there and back and standing whilst the idiot tried all the keys, but they also wasted my diesel (times 20 people)!

We needed some help with the sale of my late father-in-law's estate, the property was not suitable for sale through conventional process due to the condition of the house and the land itself. Previous efforts had resulted in cash offers coming to us way below value along with phone calls from the usual "property investors" whose blood ran colder than ice.

GoogleThey have amazing properties but you can never get through to them easily. It’s very overwhelming- they are a lovely staff but the lack of communication is off putting especially if you refuse to be persistent.

We have been bidding for one of the properties in March 2023. Our system showed us as being the highest bidder until the end and we haven’t been informed (received an email at least) in the 2 min time to the end that we have been outbid. They couldn't even give us a good explanation to what happened.They gave the property to someone else who bid same amount as us, 2 min before the end and they haven't updated their system, which was enough time.Their system failed a day before the auction as we had to make a bank transfer payment for holding deposit, it couldn't be done online as the website didn't work properly. Not only they have failed in their duties to us as purchases, but they have also failed in their duties to obtain the best price for the seller.We will not recommend Allsop or be part of the auction again, this experience is the worst we had and we do participate in many auctions and deal with other auction houses.
