I sold a commercial property in June 2024. The person who was involved from start to finish Ben Kenerick. Ben was a very reliable and helpful person. He dealt efficiently with my solicitor in advising on the legal pack contents. I was very happy with the service he provided throughout. I would definitely use Ben in any similar transaction.

GoogleProperty was in unclean condition when we moved in. Rat droppings, used shaving equipment and food wrappers were found under some of the beds. Allsop expected us to clean the property to a professional standard when we moved out, including cleaning the windows from the outside as well. I think this was unjust bearing in mind the condition it was when we moved in. However, one good point was that repairs were conducted as requested even if it took a couple emails.

GoogleWe have recently bought a property through Allsop, in particular dealing with Joseph Lydon, experiencing fantastic service throughout. From the moment we had the first appointment he was beyond helpful in every way. He fitted in around time schedules for appointments and did everything possible to ensure we knew all we needed to know to make a considered decision re buying the property. His helpfulness extended to the lead up to the auction, as we were not keen on having to bid, suggesting that a bid by telephone would be better and took the time to introduce us to Will who was beyond calm in what was a highly stressful environment and we consequently bought the property. The final element of great customer care was on the day of completion when the sellers were awaiting a signature, Joseph very kindly offered to keep in contact to ensure that we knew what was happening right up to the point of completion. We would not hesitate to deal with both Allsop and Joseph again!

TrustpilotMost incompetent group of people
Most incompetent group of property managers and lettings coordinators. They take weeks, if not months to respond to emails and clearly do not speak to each other as they give conflicting information. It takes at least 2 months for them to send over documents and agreements and they are often on holiday. It’s extremely frustrating dealing with them and i cannot reiterate how much you should avoid this group. Glad to no longer have to deal with them again.

GoogleWorked as a photography marketing supplier to Allsop for a number of years. Providing Matterport (3D virtual tours) and photography and floorplans. An open, easy and efficient company to work with. Shout out to Will Taylor, Jimmy Bruce and Roseanna Benyon in the residential auction team, who are all a pleasure to do business with.

GoogleThe Trouble Auction without commitment, laying, sales guys works for the Auction Advantage not for the customer satisfaction, I had a very sad experience and Auction team stolen my 10K deposit, Auction advertised a unit with very so many issues can’t be solve easily and need to wait years to sort and can’t use at all for anything, they are covering themselves with the terms and condition and during the purchase was unable to get any approval from any government offices. I have asked them several times to refund my deposit which I have paid, they rejected. Allsop Auction in U.K. not trusted.

Don't believe Alssop dirty and dishonest auction they are robbery they said building income £85000 in rent income was 20 rooms and 1 room vacate they are lier only 10 rooms in rent and £36000 pa don't believe them 100 time double check with untrained staff in Allsop auction they know only cheating people with fake information if you. Double check with them everything disclose and clear to you never ever buy from them and ask to see landlord face to face or get all details for seller and ask all information directly from seller because Allsop auction lier don't trust them . And make sure to see the building you buy even 10 times go and see before bidding and 100 times ask because still they cheating you 😭 😭 😭 😭 be careful don't buy from doddgy Alssop auction never ever recommend anyone to buy from them dangerous really don't trust them keep your money in safe please don't take risk with Allsop auction

GoogleTHINK THE AUCTION IS A BIG SCAM BE AWARE OF THE PROPERTY GOING THURSDAY 19TH DECEMBER 2024 B69 3DL SOUTH OF DUDLEY ROAD LEGAL PACK SHOWS YOU ONLY GET TO BUY SMALL PART OF THE LAND WHICH YOU SHOULD BE TELLING THE PUBLIC INSTEAD THEY ARE MISLEADING AND SAYING SITE IS 2.92 ACRES AND WANT TO SCAM PEOPLE I HAD BEEN CALLING THEM AND THEY SEEMED VERY DODGY ABOUT THIS LAND AND BEING RUDE WHICH THEN I SENT LEGAL PACK TO MY SOLICITOR AND HE TOLD ME AVOID AVOID ITS A SCAM ITS ONLY A SMALL PORTION OF LAND THEY GIVING WHICH IS NOT WORTH ANYTHING!!!!!

GoogleMy son accidentally bid 11k increment instead of 1k on a Nottingham house. He tried to cancel it straight away but there was no facility to do this. He emailed and phoned. He was told he had to honour the bid. No discretion was given and no kindness shown to him. We thought highly of Allsop until this. No more. Avoid.

FacebookAllsop has caused nothing but trouble for us since their company has been in charge of our property. Picture this! we receive a Section 21 Eviction notice stating that we had 2 months to vacate the property. When I called them to ask for a reason they said it was due to Salford City Council bringing in a new ‘overcrowding’ tax and that the company or the landlord did not intend on paying it. I assured the agent that we had signed an amended tenancy agreement including the addendum that the third tenant no longer resided at the property and was assured that it was their mistake and that the section 21 could be cancelled on their end - this was the outcome of the call. Two weeks later we got an email asking when we would be estimated to be out of the property. We called and asked them why the section 21 had not been removed to which the agent replied “I forgot to speak to my boss, If you want to stay this will be subject to a rent increase”. I emailed later on that evening to ask why there hadn’t been adequate notice for the rent increase and why this was not mentioned in the initial eviction call and was told that they don’t need to give me notice. During the two weeks we had remaining in the property the other tenant and myself tried to get hold of Cleveland Mottley who we were told was our housing agent, we then were both told within the space of 24 hours that two different agents were in charge of our case. We have now vacated the property from the 16th of May and we have had no reply from the company for any help or advice on what to do next? Myself and the other tenant have been left with no other option than to move away during our higher education as we are left in a bad financial situation due to this company’s error. And this isn’t even the half of it!! Absolutely disgusting the way we have been treated. Do not rent with Allsop!

Authorised them to sign on my behalf not once but two times (once with amended completion) only to phone him the following day to be told by Henry Chamberlyne to either increase the purchase price by X amount or face all the solicitor costs for no reason. I believe he took advantage at my young age and this being my first property investment. Was rather smug when I pointed out the dishonesty of this and quipped we didn’t sign the contract so there is nothing you can do legally. He then advised me to bid on it at auction where they used my agreed purchase price as the reserve price. Also pointed out my solicitor costs would be for nothing so I should just give extra money. Solictor costs were in excess of £1000 but luckily the solicitor took pity on the situation and charged £900 inclusive of VAT. Completely disgusted with the actions of Henry Chamberlyne of alsop’s and I can understand how this may seem far fetched for such a reputable company however I have attached the screenshots below and have many more if anybody wants to see. I advise you to avoid any property on alsop’s represented by Henry Chamberlyne.
