Alex & Matteo London reviews

Alex & Matteo are nothing like your standard estate agent. We were trying to sell our flat during quite a difficult market and initially listed with a mainstream agent. They did nothing to help people see the value of our home, and tried to pressure us to drop our asking price. We moved to Alex & Matteo and you could tell straight away that they were going to work hard for us, and they did! Matteo helped us achieve over our asking price, was really helpful and communicative throughout, and they really know and understand why the area is great. I whole heartedly recommend them.

Alex & Matteo are managing my property and I have to say the experience I had with them is excellent. They had excellent knowledge of the market, always available for my queries and helped in anyway they could. I would highly recommend them for anyone looking for an estate agent to manage their property.

Alex and Matteo just helped sell our studio flat in Deptford, and I can't recommend them highly enough! From the initial advice as to the best price to put on the market, through to organising viewings and managing the sale, they were attentive, thoughtful, and very good at communicating to give me regular updates. The flat sold quickly and this is down to how efficiently they worked. I'll be recommending them to anyone I know buying or selling a property. Really impressed.

I recently bought an apartment in one of my few preferred buildings in the area that I lived in a rented flat for over 10 years with the help of Foivos, Alex & Matteo. They were very professional, great attention to details, kept me well-informed throughout the process, and pleasant and friendly to deal with. I highly recommend Alex & Matteo Estate Agents! Thank you so much team!

I would fully recommend Alex & Matteo to anybody. We had been trying to sell our flat for over 2+ years, and when we changed our estate agent to these guys they really managed to shift it. Excellent, fast and efficient service. We were always kept updated with any changes. Really positive experience!

I recently sold my house with the help of Alex and Matteo. They were extremely professional and helpful throughout the process, and regularly contacted both the buyer and myself to keep us informed, nothing seemed to be too much trouble. It should have been a straightforward sale but inevitably became complicated; they were very helpful in resolving problems and kept me informed of progress, offering much appreciated advice. I felt as if this was more than simply a business transaction to them and they genuinely wanted the house to be sold, assisting both me as seller and the buyer to complete the sale. I liked the support that I don't think I would have experienced from one of the large high street firms.

Alex and Matteo have been absolutely superb, and I would highly recommend them. They recently helped sell our 2 bed flat, and I honestly think their personal touch, responsiveness and regular communication made the difference in a competitive and difficult market (this was all during covid/the end of the stamp duty window!) They may be smaller than some of the big agencies working in the area - but that is definitely something that works to their, and their clients benefit. They use Rightmove and all of the usual portals for sales - but have the time and energy to give a really personal service . We have felt throughout that they were personally very invested in the transaction, and have worked day and night to help with our sale. They are friendly, honest and helpful - we were also pleased/impressed by their photography, virtual tours and the speed of feedback and responsiveness throughout. Could not recommend more highly.

Excellent and responsive service from Matteo and the whole team. They sourced a great Tenant for us 3 years ago and have also recently helped us sell our Flat in Bermondsey after a couple of failed attempts using other estate agents. I would highly recommend their services.

We have just purchased our flat with the help of Alex and Matteo. They were brilliant throughout the process; following up promptly on our queries, helping us resolve challenges and effectively facilitating the purchase between the sellers and us. It was great support throughout this stressful process that they were simply nice to talk to and always aimed to help. When we need real estate services in the future, we will definitely turn to them - highly recommend!

We have used a few estate agents in the past, but honestly, none of them come close. Big plus is that they are really nice people aswell so we 100% recommend!PositiveResponsiveness, Quality, Professionalism, Value

The team at Alex & Matteo are the best. I have lived in a property managed by their team for several years and have only ever had a positive experience. Recently, when our hot water stopped working on Boxing Day, Alex was able to get the problem resolved very quickly even with all of the holiday closures to contend with! I would definitely recommend working with their team!

Alex and Matteo sold our house very quickly and achieved full asking price. I mostly dealt with Alex who was awesome throughout the whole transaction. He always answered the phone, relentlessly chased the solicitors on both sides, kept the buyer informed all the way to the final hurdle. I highly recommend Alex & Matteo, they have your best interests at heart whether you are a buyer or a seller. They care more than most.

Matteo helped me through my first property purchase! He was excellent throughout the whole process which lasted over 6 months and was not always easy. He helped me chase and communicate to all parties including solicitors and other third parties all so we could push the transaction through before the stamp duty relief expired! I would 100% recommend and will be using Alex & Matteo in the future!!PositiveResponsiveness, Quality, Professionalism

Alex & Matteo are a breath of fresh air in what can be quite the cowboy world of estate agents and property management companies. They are professional, responsive, polite and diplomatic. I felt that I made new friends in Alex & Matteo through doing business with them. I hope they can keep this incredibly high standard as they expand. They execute their business impeccably.

We have recently started renting a flat through Alex and Matteo. We had a really nice and positive experience. Everyone at agency is very honest and efficient, they are quick to reply and help you out. I appreciate their communication as well with the agents, as they were quick to the point without trying to push things. There are many agencies in London that I can only define as scummy and this is not one of them, so I definitely recommend Alex and Matteo if you are looking for a flat in South East London. The quality of their property is also higher, I believe.
