GoogleI have been in this agency scam from them .
They ask me as holding deposit of 1 week about 648 £ to rent a house then they asked me my documents I gave them and because I have asylum accepted in uk they ben rasist and told me that I can rent because they couldn't prove enough incomes of my cousin when they haven't check all her incomes plus many thinks so they won't give me back my money. Becouse they use my money to do the inspection any ways I told them ok not problem but give
me my receipt of what did i payed exactly and they told me not because they don't charge Vat. After I payed 648£ for 2 days of questions they ask me and they never give me a list of what a really need it the ask me 1 by 1 thinks to be long and they just come whit they can't prove enough incomes when I can prove we make enough. I don't mind just want a recib with the V A T because is a money I payed for a service which they saying they charge . So I need my recipt of the payment I did. Thank you and absolutely becarefull with this people

We are sorry to hear of your disappointment and have investigated internally:
You placed an offer on a rental property along with two additional tenants. Your offer was accepted and you were asked to sign our offer form. Our offer form clearly states that referencing checks need to be carried out prior to move in and your suitability would be deemed based on financial checks. These checks have to be carried out in order to protect our Landlords and are a standard requirement when applying to rent. It is also clearly noted that your holding fee would not be reimbursed should you fail the referencing process/provide misleading information. The fee is us to pay for the referencing service and to make sure the Landlord is not out of pocket due to an increased void period if you are unable to move in.
Please note that it is a legal requirement to carry out right-to-rent checks. We could not carry out these checks for you, however, we spoke to your solicitor as an additional measure to confirm your right rent to rent in the UK. You passed the referencing process and you were notified of this in writing.
Unfortunately, the additional tenants did not pass the referencing process due to significant & misleading information not being declared. Therefore we were unable to proceed with your move-in as you would not have passed the referencing checks to cover the whole proportion of the rent individually.
We have gone above and beyond to try and make your move in happen. However, we cannot put our Landlord at risk knowing significant information was not disclosed by the additional tenants.
We understand the situation is disappointing and we have tried to reach out to you multiple times without success. If you would still like to discuss, please do get in touch with us directly.

The times were diffuclt and a lot of quarantine rules were in place, however even then Alex has managed to show me properties and bring them to better light. The property itself has been great, the quick responses from them also helped in resolving ANY issues I could have had. Lastly, regarding bills, taxes and maintenance, all the documentation and needs had been almost taken care of. Alex and Matteo both try to give you a solution rather than redirect you to another party. Which is what we value the most as tenants and landlords.
