GoogleThe team at Garrett Whitelock have been excellent for my flat rental over the years.
Kerri in particular has been outstanding. She’s quick to respond to any queries; takes care of managing a fair amount of third party issues; keeps on top of any regular maintenance items; and always helpful and pleasant to deal with.
I’m probably biased in singling out Kerri due to the nature of the current set up but I’ve found the whole team to be knowledgeable, professional and a friendly bunch to work with. I’m glad I’ve chosen them to rent my flat with and am very happy with their services.

In a matter of days after viewing the place, Harry helped us to sort all of the paperwork out without any fuss and in a very organised and professional manner. Everything is laid out very clearly, all information is explained and there are no hidden fees that come up at any point during the process. Communication has been great from the very beginning as they are ready to answer any questions straight away and are flexible to suit your needs.

GoogleAs a tenant I've never had a good estate agent before. Garrett Whitelock have been amazing to rent from - they're very attentive if anything is wrong and send someone to fix things quickly. You have a dedicated agent to reach out to in the case of problems, which makes for really easy communication. The deposit and signing process was very easy too!
I'm still living in the flat, and hope to for some time, but am hopeful the end of tenancy goes as smoothly as everything else to date.

GoogleOverall a good agency, however we personally have experienced a rushed offer-move in which has proved problematic and left us feeling as though there is room for improvement - we had to chase documents and to be kept in the loop pre-move, and the property came needing important technical repairs (entry intercom for example) and faulty fob keys that would've been resolved beforehand had this process not have been rushed to be such a quick turnover.
Would prefer it if the agency were more than just the letting agent, the property is managed by the Landlord and a separate management company, which means that problems are passed around and take a while to be resolved.
Edited: having lived at the property for 4 months now, deducting an additional star for the ongoing issues we are suffering post-move in and having to aggressively chase that were the direct responsibility of Garrett Whitelock as confirmed by our Landlord, and not the fault of the unbelievably incompetent, rude and unresponsive property management company and their sub-par contracted service firms.

August is just about the busiest month for new tenancies beginning in this area, so whilst we try and keep the turnaround time as quick as possible sometimes things do take a little longer than we like. There are also external factors which play a part, such as waiting on references from 3rd parties.
In regard the property management feedback, we would love nothing more than to fully manage all of the properties we rent, but unfortunately some landlords do instruct us just on a let only basis which means we are involved only at the beginning and once the tenancy has started, the landlord takes over.
If there is any specific maintenance still outstanding please do contact us, and we will happily contact your landlord on your behalf.
Updated 14th December 2021 - Thank you for the updated review Rebecca, although disappointed to see you have commented negatively and removed a further star.
We do not manage your property, so any lack of repair or maintenance issues not being attended to promptly are as a direct result of your landlord.
We are keen to help though, so please do contact me directly and discuss the outstanding issues, and we will discuss these with your landlord.

- Very quick to respond to any issues, had both plumbing and electrical issues that were resolved same day.
- Very willing to work with tenants, early on there was a contractual misunderstanding where both we as tenants and the estate agents had missed something. Rather than steam rolling us like the other London agencies they worked with us and compromised.
- Always very prompt to respond to emails, even if I am sending them to the wrong part of the company.
- Very respectful of your time and privacy as a tenant.
