We bought our first BTL property last year from Entwistle Green and we were very pleased with their sevice during the buying process. Alex and the team were always helpful, friendly and professional. Being a first time investor from a different part of the country on a hot property market did not seem easy but Entwistle Green was there to help us to find the property we wanted. Since we were so happy with their service we decided to ask the letting side of the agency to fully manage our property when it was ready to let. They reacted very quickly to our enquiry, found good tenants within few days and promptly arranged everything that needed in order to start the tenancy. Sheila from Entwistle Green is very knowledgeable and able to give useful advises and answers to any questions or concerns regarding the letting. She and the team are excellent in communication, they are always kind, friendly and professional. Thank you Alex, Sheila and Entwistle Green team for your great service. Very poor experience. Arranged to view a property at 2.30pm this afternoon. Waited 20-25 mins, nobody turned up, nobody called to say they would be late or needed to cancel, unable to reach anybody at the office by phone, just straight to answer phone. Left several messages got nothing back. Tried texting and calling the number i got the booking confirmation from, answer phone "not monitored." Emailed, again "inbox not monitored." Completely wasted my afternoon. Why not call and at least make up an excuse if you're not going to turn up? Thanks for nothing.

Scam avoid at all costs

Entwistle Green Crosby is the worst company I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. The initial inventory was filled with outright lies and took a very long time to rectify, during our rental the problems we reported for maintenance took very long times to be fixed. The exit inventory check was booked for over a month, we both took time off work to attend it because they can not be trusted, only after we had arrived at the property and waited, past the time that they were supposed to arrive did we get a phone call saying that they were not coming. Again we can not trust them to do the inventory without us present to ensure it is done correctly. So we will loose more work to attend if it is rearranged.Disgusting behaviour and a shameful display of customer service.

Corruption at its best with this agent

Corruption at its best. We tried purchasing 5 Plumer Street Liverpool L15. The house was for sale for £75,000 on the website. The repossessed house was sold by the bank. The deal was sealed on Friday by one of the girls. Monday, Kristy said the bank had declined the offer and asked me to increase it. I increased this to £76,000. Georgia rang and said they have accepted the offer. I asked her to send a confirmation email but she did not. The following day I rang in to chase the email and got Kristy again. The woman was so rude and aggressive and sent me this. Now looking back there were a lot of red flags from the start. We waited for 45 minutes outside the house for viewing. The estate agent had gone to the wrong address. I would not recommend anyone buying, selling, or renting from these girls. They are extremely unprofessional. They also appear not really educational sound. Moving forward I will google the estate agent reviews before contacting them. Your reviews are pathetic and if I would have seen this before I would not be contacting you. I will be reporting this to the regulated body as this estate agent should close it doors."Hello Please accept his offer as confirmation that you offer of is not high enough. USELESS - buyers/sellers/renters AVOID

We were in the process of looking at buying at house at the start of this year. We found a house listed with this sorry excuse of an estate agent, and they booked us in for a viewing at 12.15pm. We got to the viewing and within 5 minutes there were at least 50 other people waiting outside to view this house. Everyone that had booked a viewing had obviously brought one of two people with them (a lot of first time buyer couples and their parent/s) so it was absolutely heaving.

Highly do not recommend

I highly do not recommend using Entwistle Green. I dealt with Julie Winkler at the Bury branch. Extremely unhelpful and rude. She made it impossible to book a viewing for a house I was interested in buying. I since contacted the seller directly, to be told that the seller had been lied to on numerous ocassions and Julie was pushing for an inside job to sell the property to a property developer. Very unprofessional.

Rat infestation but they don’t think…

Rat infestation but they don’t think that’s urgent enough to ring landlady. The lady dealing with it isn’t in work but somehow they can’t tell me anything because she’s not in! What sort of a process is that when colleagues can’t check on what’s happening with maintenance issues. When I asked why they can’t ring rather than email landlady they hung up on me hope they don’t chew through electrics as if I was paying for property management for my home I wouldn’t be very happy.

Went to view a property and spoke to the landlord of the house and Joe from Entwistle I advised the landlord I didn’t have the best credit and he advised me that shouldn’t be a problem Joe was very insistent that I pay the £161 fee for the search he was trying to get me to do it while I was looking at the house (very pressurising) he also rang the office (he must have a different number to most people as the girl picked up straight away) and the girl said well done (sounds commission based to me to get people to pay and they honestly have no intention of giving you the property ) I have since been trying to get the maghul office and no one picks up to discuss why no one had let me know the outcome I had to get through to them via zoopla and the poor guy had to advise me I have also asked for a follow up phone call but I’m still waiting **** very poor service ***** Be aware they take your money and normally have someone in mind for property or it’s already gone and yet they will still charge you ***** I wouldn’t normally write a review but I feel people need to be aware
