GoogleI recently sold my property through Berkeley Shaw. It was a seamless process with less than a week between getting the marketing done, property on the market and an offer accepted. The team were always on hand to follow up with all parties whilst the sale was progressing and handled everything in a professional and friendly manner. Having bought my property through another agent I really noticed the more proactive and professional service received through Berkeley Shaw in comparison and would recommend choosing them over any other agent in the area to sell a property.

GoogleThis company doesn't care about it's tenants. We recently had to move out of our apartment for a month for cladding on our building to be replaced, and our needs were not accounted for at any stage. We have returned to our apartment and it is in a poor state, and the company are refusing to replace blinds that no longer fit due to the work they have done
Hi Janine, I'm sorry you have felt the need to make a negative review, it isn't in keeping with others who have praised the Cladding Remediation project currently being undertaken by Contractors on behalf of the owners of the building and Homes England We do not manage your property and we are not your landlords. Please contact your Letting Agent or Landlord regarding your window blinds. Our involvement with your apartment has been to arrange for temporary furnished, brand new accommodation for occupants of the effected flats to be moved into. The needs of tenants were put right at the top of the agenda. It was a legal requirement to move you out of your apartment for 4 weeks whilst this essential fire safety work was undertaken. As I say, please contact your Letting Agent or Landlord regarding your blinds.

GoogleI have recently bought a house through Berkeley Shaw and couldn’t recommended them enough. After trying to find a house for the last 2-3 years they were definitely the most helpful estate agents I have came across. The office staff and the agent who shown me around the house were all so friendly, honest and helpful. House sale took around 3 months to complete which I was really pleased with during the current housing boom. No problems along the way and was always kept up to date. Thank you so much! Rebecca

I spoke to three estate agents in Crosby before choosing to sell my Mum’s house with Berkeley Shaw. I’m really glad I did. The house was on the market very quickly, John did a great video which really did the house justice and gave sound advice. Chris and Kirstie were brilliant- managing viewings and making sure I always knew what was happening. Once I’d agreed the sale, they chased progress for me, rang me regularly to keep me informed and we’re always available if I rang them. They provided a really professional but very friendly service. Excellent!

GoogleI want to explain the situation clearly. I've been renting this apartment for about eight months, and there's been an issue with it that’s only gotten worse: there's a hole in the ceiling where water drips from time to time. This started at least six months ago, and I've always reported it right away, but no one has fixed it. At first, the water would drip a few times a month, but now it's been happening nonstop for the last few weeks. The place is constantly damp, and it's getting harder to stay here. I have to keep putting a pot under the drip and emptying it, which is frustrating and definitely not something a tenant should have to deal with. I've reported this issue through the PropertyFile website, where you can send repair requests directly to Berkeley Shaw. I've even marked it as urgent. I think I’ve reported it about 10 times now, but nothing gets done. It feels like I'm being ignored. Twice, someone came over, took some photos, said, "It'll be fine" and left. But nothing changed. Now the apartment is so damp that mold is growing on the walls. It's honestly starting to feel unsafe to live here. I work from home, so I’m breathing in this damp air all day, and it’s making life miserable. Since Berkeley Shaw manages this apartment block, I'm leaving this review about them. I want people to know that first impressions can be misleading, I definitely learned that the hard way... Be careful. At first, the company seemed great, but this experience has been awful. It's gotten to the point where I can't sleep properly, and they're just ignoring me.

Our experience as both sellers and buyers was very positive. The team in the Crosby office were all friendly and professional and helped to keep our house move as stress-free as possible. We achieved the full asking price for the property we were selling, which was marketed superbly. The same could be said about our new home, which is why we ended up buying it! GoogleBerkeley Shaw recently sold a 1-Bed flat for me in Central Liverpool. The process could not have been smoother on their part and I am very pleased to have worked with them. Communication was excellent, and I had a regular marketing call from them to let me know how the sale process was going . Their web portal for sellers is a great value-add service as regular stats on searches and viewings give an up to date view on how the property is being received. They know the property market well and I couldn't fault them in any way - hence I have asked for their help to sell my other property. Thank-you Berkeley Shaw!

GoogleI contacted this Agent on 3 separate occassions informing of my concern for the property they had up for sale next door and conected to my HOME. They where advertising the property as a potential HMO or flat conversion. They have down valued the properties on my road we bought ours for £225,000 and they had next door up for £199,950.The Agent is based in Crosby and it is now obvious that they had no care in contacting someone like myself from Bootle to discuss the matter. Not once have I received a responce to my concerns and the property is now near completition. Therefore Berkeley Shaw I rate you 1 star (as it wouldnt let me put none) for your ill manners and lack of communication.

Berkley Shaw is unfortunately our managing agent for our building. They have history of appalling communication, and a complete lack of ability to maintain and manage a building. Our windows have not been cleaned for 2-3 years despite leaseholders begging action. They have zero accountability, charge outrageous fees and are incapable of managing a block of flats: exterior walls left to wrack and ruin, shoddy interior painting and maintenance, inaction over security and theft, huge unforeseen insurance costs, huge communal electricity fees with no investigation, lack of general upkeep and cleanliness in communal areas. They will set debt collectors on you even if you have a complaint open (Stage 2) and have referred them to the Property Ombudsman and have an open case. Shameful behaviour. Despite multiple complaints from multiple leaseholders their inaction and mismanagement continues. A total disregard for professionalism, leaseholders and due care. You have been warned: do not use this company as managing agents.
