We have used Berkeley Shaw services to sell our house. We were very impressed with the service, which started by an informal visit and price evaluation, as well as thorough explanation of the contractual agreement which we would enter. There was no hard-sale technique used and we valued that. Having sought comparisons from several other leading estate agencies, we opted for Berkeley Shaw, Crosby Branch. Their service - from start to finish - was exceptional. They advised us to wait when we were rushing decisions and encouraged to ‘dare’ when we tended to shy away from some bold moves. Even though Covid-19 slowed down the sale process, throughout the few months of our collaboration, we were expertly guided by Rachael and the Sales Team. The final stages were particularly challenging as we completed a range of negotiations on detail and we couldn’t have done it without Berkeley Shaw! Bought a flat in Hillary Court for my Mum, which was up for sale with Berkeley Shaw. First contact was to make appointment to see the flat. During the current difficult C-19 situation they handled it all very well; tho' only one person in the office. And kept on top of the progress of the sale. Efficient dealing with the offer, acceptance, etc. Friendly and helpful throughout. I obviously can't comment on value, as I wasn't seller, so don't know the fees charged. Shocking lack of transparency on costs and unwilling to cooperate on emails asking for clarity on very basic questions regarding our property's accounts in Liverpool City centre. Be extremely wary of buying properties if you see these as the managing agents.

I can't speak highly enough about the service we received from the team. My Son, who was relocating into the area from Essex, had limited to no knowledge of suitable locations, and in the first instance, Laura was tremendously helpful in guiding him through several phone calls which provided us both with comfort and confidence in his selected area. The lettings team then stepped forward and with a potential hic-up on a specific property which wasn't fully completed, Rachael Doyle engaged with us directly and guided us through a viable and perfect alternative property selection. Our thanks also to Laura who helped facilitate everything on the administration side, and then finally, with a panic stricken loss on keys (by us) on the day of moving in, Emma Morris was excellent at finding a locksmith late on a Saturday afternoon and resolving the issue. Thanks to the whole team, the relocation for my Son has been seamless with you all helping and guiding him.

Incredibly disappointing. I was about to move into a flat and the landlord breached the contract last minute meaning we could not move in. We was offered an alternative flat 3 miles outside the city with no access to public transport. Another flat was offered in the same building which we agreed upon but were told the next day that this had been agreed to be let to someone else. After 3 unsuccessful attempts of getting a flat with Berkley Shaw we gave up. We have found a new place but Berkeley Shaw still haunts us. They decided to register an account in my name with the energy supplier of the first flat in which the landlord pulled out meaning any bills we want to register in the new flat with Liverpool Alive (They are brilliant) we are unable to set up. Not only have we had mental stress from being played around in the flat hunt just days before we were supposed to move in, this has escalated to affect my credit score with bills in a flat we have never moved into. It has been terribly disappointing on all ends and I can not recommend anyone to go through the same as we did and most unfortunately still are. Answer upon your reply: Incorrect I was selected by the landlord to move in but your precious landlords pulled out breaching the contract full stop. It is incredibly frustrating to see who ever replied on here is not communicating with the team that caused the issue. Rather than resolving this and taking this as feedback I get a passive aggressive response. I find it incredibly rude to assume the issue when you clearly lack an internal reasoning and just assume. Just showcases what sort of people work in these places e.g take no feedback, assume things about customers of YOUR landlords and the worst of all you don’t even communicate the problem internally but to be honest that is your issue.
