I recently sold my property through William H brown Lincoln and I would highly recommend them, I originally decided to go with them because of their senior valuer Zaine as he seemed the most knowledgeable of the 4 valuers I invited to my property, after putting the house to the market I had 5 people round within the first week and accepted an offer that was £6000 over asking price, not only did they help me sell but they also found me and my husband our next home, special thanks as well to Leon & Adam who kept us up to date with all the changes to the marketing and feedback from viewings, would 100% use their services again Lorraine

What can I say that hasn’t been said already ... used WHB before and found their service ok, used them this year , diabolical service , two tenants fell through at the last minute , then I get a call asking if I have spare keys as the agent had gone on holiday with both sets of keys to France , locksmith required to break into the house. Invoice for EPC arrives which I was not told about needing however as it’s legal requirement I paid it , gas check invoice - quoted 70 then had extra £50 added on for a £10 top up as the gas engineer needed to do this as part of the check . This has now been reduced as I refused to pay. All in all shambolic service , however on the plus side the people I have dealt with over the phone have been helpful and done their best to sort out these issues. Subsequent invoice arrives with yet more charges - 80 plus vat for an inventory .. never asked or agreed to this as the property is empty.

I was looking to rent a property promoted by william H Brown in Lincoln. During the viewing I was promised a call the very next morning, I never got it. I phoned twice more throughout the week, both times getting the same empty promises and the same lack of response. Unfortunately this wasn't the only concern. When I did try to get information to move our search forward, they were unhelpful to the point of being resistant of any such help. They were often arrogant, mostly ignorant and overall unfriendly. If I believed such things happened, I would say they were acting with prejudice, although I am not sure why. If prejudice was't the cause of their decision to be unhelpful, then I can only assume they are like this to everyone, and that is not good at all. I was left feeling angered, and if needing to find a new property, I wold gladly turn my back on William H Brown full stop. This is shocking service from a business that I thought was a premium brand in Lincoln. I hope they read this and deal with their staff's apparent lack of any courtesies whatsoever.

Worse estate agent EVER! Initially they seemed nice and professional . I viewed a property advertised by this agent. After my offer was accepted by the vendor the agent refused to see my MIP and started being pushy to see their mortgage advisor. I told them many times that im not interested and I have everything sorted through my own broker but they didn’t want to hear about it. I received a phone call from their rather arrogant pompous mortgage advisor who didn’t even listen to my personal circumstances and pushed me to make an appointment with him. After 30 mins of this I agreed to go in and see them because I got tired of his arrogance over the phone. After this I got put off buying this property due to the estate agency’s pushy behaviour and I was hesitant to go further with my purchase. Luckily the vendor was advertising their property through another agent so I rang them explained what happened and I told them i want them to deal with the purchase. This is where it kicked off - I received an abusive phone call from W H B and I got an earful that I cost them and the vendor money .I can honestly say that this was the most disgusting “service” i ever received as a buyer. And I will avoid them in the future! Later on I found out that they refused to cooperate with the other estate agency and they were extremely rude to them too. They are unethical, rude and extremely unprofessional they shouldn’t be in business at all due to lack of understanding of delivering a good customer service. My purchase went through just fine with the other agency who seemed to listen when I said i required no mortgage advice.

I have rented from WH Brown as a student and a working professional, both experiences have been truly outstanding. The company has always been accomodating, polite and understanding no matter what the scenario. Repairs are always treated as a priority, concerns are addressed immediately and the inspections are always conveniant. One employee in particular, Nickie, has always been beyond fantastic for myself, my partner and any other tenants I have spoken to. I can not recommend this company enough! Massive thank you for such a pleasant experience!

I moved with the help of a girl called Imogen, she was extremely helpful and she made the whole process so much easier. If I was to ever move again she would be my first point of call.
