We have had a truly excellent experience with renting a property through Bairstow Eves, and in particular, Jade Exton. Jade has gone above and beyond for myself and my fiancé, and she has made our potentially stressful move, so much easier. As soon as we made first contact with her, she was immediately willing to do everything possible to assist with our very short notice move, to an area we know absolutely nothing about. She is incredibly professional, friendly, and efficient, and appreciated the urgency of our time constraints. We received regular updates on the paperwork progress, and everything was explained to us in a crystal clear manner. Her communication was flawless throughout, and we were kept in the loop with every event. Can't thank Bairstow Eves enough for guiding us through the first process of a buying a property. Hannah, Mia, Stephanie and Owen have all been really patient and kind throughout answering any questions we've had. Owen especially was really transparent and honest giving us all the information we needed and was on hand at any point we called. Lettings team are lovely, property management are awful. I was left without heating for 3 weeks in February due to the property management team trying to illegally force us to pay for something that we never agreed to. It took a formal complaint and getting the council involved for them to eventually back down and resolve the issue. Due to this, I was out of pocket, having to pay to heat my home with an electric heater which was extremely expensive, and they've ignored all of my contact when I asked to be reimbursed! Be very careful when renting with Bairstow, they seem to have a very poor understanding of tenancy laws and will try to pressure you into paying for things that they should never ask you to. Extremely disappointed with their cowboy attitude.
