If you are thinking about buying or selling your home, bairstow eves is the one to go for. Leo gave me a valuation last year but i wasnt ready to sell. Helena Jones who is the managing director of the branch sales team did a revised valuation in the current market and was extremely pleased. I have dealt with Owen over the phone over the last couple weeks and have felt nothing but excellent service worth 6 stars, but sadly 5 is the highest i could give. I always hated the time when it came to having to sell my family home as estate agents do not make you feel welcome yet I am the one who pays them.. never the less, bairstow eves has really changed my opinion and have been fantastic. Would highly recommend this agent, 5*, 10/10, and 100% would use them to sell my next home. Thank you again Helena and Owen! Xx

I have just sold two properties with Bairstow Eves and could not be happier. I initially met Helena, the manager, and explained that my properties had been up for sale for 3 months with another estate agents, and to say that I was disappointed with them was an understatement. Right from the start Helena listened to what I had to say and did her upmost to follow through with everything we talked about. She was open, honest and realistic which was refreshing. Offers were made by potential buyers from the off, and within 3 weeks I’d accepted offers I was pleased with. I must also give a big shout out to Jess and especially Owen who not only did a lot of the “running about” and “ringing round” but kept me informed every step of the way. A big thank you to you all. We were interested in a house listed by your Lincoln office (5 Northcroft, Saxilby, Lincs.) We viewed the property on Monday 14:09:00, accompanied by Mia. She was very professional, friendly and polite. She attended to us, but also gave us space and time to look for ourselves. The viewing went very well, we felt supported and welcome. We were amazed to learn that Mia was new to her job. We spoke about the house with Helena by telephone, and again, we received excellent service, in a relaxed but professional manner. We went on to make an offer on the property by telephone, which Mia handled, with Helena in background support. What a great way to train your staff; by giving them space and time, with unobtrusive support, you are surely developing your successful young professionals of tomorrow. We were impressed by all of your staff at Lincoln, but most of our dealings were with Helena and Mia. The only fair way to describe their performance would be Five Star. As a former head teacher, I trained many staff during my career, and I still enjoy seeing professional development organised so thoughtfully, undertaken so skillfully, and producing such high professional standards. Well done Helena and Mia, and well done Bairstow Eves. Post Script...I am no IT whizz, but Owen from your office was extremely helpful and patient with me, as he guided me through the process of posting this review.

Bairstow Eves have changed my view on Estate Agents, having not dealt with Estate Agents for years this has been an absolute breeze. Owen has a refreshing and honest manner. Was looking for a property with my partner, was dealing with the new branch manager. She’s not much use, her sentences are twisted and confusing. Gave false information on properties and said they will find a property for us through knocking on doors asking people to sell their house 😂 We have now found a house but still receive emails about properties and so many about mortgage services etc. even though my partner said no at the beginning. I did also speak to Chloe who seemed nice and was able to give clearer answers.

They managed my property for years. As is typical in this business, they profited from mediating services without adding much value, acceptable to a degree for someone who isn’t local. I gave them six months' notice to terminate our agreement, but they ignored it because the person handling my account had left the company. As a result, they continued charging me for two months after the contract had ended. When I discovered this, I asked for a refund, which they provided, but the amount was incorrect. After requesting a recalculation, they refunded the correct amount. Overall, these experiences reflect a lack of professionalism. Given the low added value in this line of work, where fees often don’t align with meaningful service, I would advise avoiding them. However, the person who ultimately handled my case was very pleasant and polite, which is why I gave one star.

Great deal for landlords but a complete neglect towards renters. The review has nothing to do with the way I left your neglecting services. Repairs took months, bathroom got ripped out twice in two years because you don't check your handymen credentials. Absolutely disgusted with the service provided by Bairstow Eves, Lincoln. My son has had a leak over his bed for the best part of a year, continous emails to the letting agent and lots of broken promises later he still has a leak, and it's not even from the facilities he uses but from the other tenants shower!!. I've advised him to take it higher and even seek legal advice but the lad works 60 hours a week and finds it hard. Bairstowe Eves seem disinterested and after he asked about ending his tenancy they told him they will look into it, no effort in trying to keep him as a tenant!. So be warned...enter into a contract with this letting agent at you're peril.
