GoogleBy the far the best agents I've ever had to deal with. Sarah was lovely and I felt my decision to choose them was so easy. Sally was absolutely the most professional person. Very caring and understanding on the days we felt like giving up. She regularly kept us informed of progress and went out of her way when she didn't need to. GoogleWe used Sarah at Alexander Lewis following a recommendation. We liked the prompt service we received from valuation to listing the property. Very good communication in relation to viewings. Ruby took the pressure off with the viewings and her skills helped enable a quick sale. We liked there ethos of a donation to a local charity on completion of the sale and were very overwhelmed to receive a bottle of bubbly when we handed our keys in on the last day. Thanks so much to Sarah and her team, we would highly recommend if you are selling a property.

The way Alexander Lewis Estates is run should not be allowed. We viewed a property with Alexander Lewis Estates on the 8th April this year and within half an hour, made an offer “on the basis that the property was removed from sale and no more viewings would take place”. Our offer was accepted a day later on the 9th April, at which point Alexander Lewis began pressuring us to get solicitors in place to ensure the transaction happened as quickly as possible, which we were more than happy to accommodate. However, despite having instructed and paid for solicitors and spent nearly two weeks working towards a swift transaction taking place, we were told on the 22nd April that the sellers had now accepted a different offer. We were told by Glenn at Alexander Lewis Estates that we could make a higher offer if we wanted, but that there was nothing else that they could do, as they hadn’t still been marketing the property, hadn’t arranged any further viewings and that there had been no wrongdoing on their part because they are legally bound to pass all offers onto the sellers. This was however proven incorrect when we visited the sellers directly to ask what had happened. We were advised by the sellers that even after our offer was accepted, further viewings DID take place - arranged by Alexander Lewis, and that they were encouraged to accept the new offer which was higher than ours. Looking back, Alexander Lewis were always keen to only speak with us over the phone and didn’t provide any written communication to say our offer had been accepted (which from my new understanding is common practise) - we now know why! After speaking with the sellers and hearing the true version of events, we challenged Glenn at Alexander Lewis Estates again who still denied any wrongdoing. They did however agree to pay us back the money owed from lost solicitors fees. I won’t accept any money from them out of principle, but this to me at least firmly proves that Glenn admits there was wrongdoing.

GoogleLovely people to deal with. Utterly professional, efficient and genuinely nice, If all estate agents were like this they'd have a far better reputation! Came and valued my property (on a Saturday - thank you Sarah), were the most professional of the 6(!) I saw that day and came up with the same valuation as everyone else. So it was a no-brainer. Had viewings almost before it was properly listed and sold in no time at all for asking price. Made the experience as painless and, dare I say, enjoyable as it could possibly be. I'm trying to work out how I can use them again without having another house in the area to sell...

GoogleAlexander Lewis were recommended to us by our friends when we needed to sell our late parents house during probate. After meeting with Sarah Batchelor and discussing things (she was very understanding and helpful with her advice) we decided to proceed with them as our agent. We were extremely happy with the way they marketed the property. They immediately managed to attract a lot of viewings, each time updating us by text and email to let us know when the viewings would take place and who would attend. We were given helpful feedback, and before long an offer was accepted and although that one eventually fell through, Alexander Lewis immediately managed to get us more viewings and the next offer led to a sale. We couldn’t be happier with how Alexander Lewis worked for and with us to get this property sold. We recommend them to anyone looking for great service.

GoogleI would highly recommend Alexander Lewis to anyone, and I have done so to several friends who have used them since they helped us. Sarah, Sally & Glenn we’re all extremely professional and delivered a fantastic service. We originally engaged with Alexander Lewis as we were buying a property through them, but when our private buyer pulled out they stepped in and organised an open day, which was mostly filled from people on their books looking for a property like the one we had to sell and the property was sold within a week.
