GoogleI have been very pleased in my recent dealings with Olivia in the lettings department, she was quickly able to assess my requirements as a landlord and helped me find some lovely tenants that I hope to keep long term. Olivia has shown that she understands the local market and answered any questions or concerns with sensible, honest replies. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her and her team to any new or experienced landlords.

GoogleI have never come across a company that is as unprofessional and rude and tells so many lies as hair and son letting department. They tell lies to cover lies, accused me of being a liar, raise their voice and use a very aggressive tone on the phone then hang up. This was not just speaking with one member of staff, but three different members of staff. An extremely unpleasant experience. Avoid avoid avoid.

FacebookThey don’t address issues raised on the property the handle letting for when the property has damp, bad heating and lack of hot water. Only interested in getting rent for their clients

Hi Alison, having spoken to our lettings department I understand they have tried to address your daughter's issues over the last few months, including trying to replace meters to improve the quality of the heating, site visits by our property managers, contractors and the landlord. Your daughter was made aware before she moved in of what needed to be done and was given the option of delaying moving in until after everything was in place, an option which she declined. She has now stated her desire to leave the property whilst still under contract, so we have therefore immediately begun remarketing and have received enquiries from interested applicants, however we have not been able to arrange a time that suits your daughter to carry out viewings which, as I'm sure you understand, are imperitive for us to be able to resolve the situation and allow your daughter to vacate as soon as possible. We will therefore continue to to attempt to get these viewings booked. We are also still in contact with the landlord to rectify these issues.

GoogleSince dealing with Hair & Son, I have found all of the staff extremely professional, very helpful and willing to go the extra mile. From the valuation, booking viewers to the sale of the property. I purchased my next property through them and the same service applied to the purchase as well as the sale. I couldn't recommend them enough.

FacebookRichard and his Thorpe Bay team were marvellous. I was selling my mothers Bungalow and live 2 hours away but they helped me every step of the way. They took the stress out of selling for me and really earned their fee. I am selling my own house and wish I could find such a team near me but I think that is impossible.

GoogleI experienced horrible customer service with this company as a paying and polite tenant. They were rude and unhelpful when the landlord stopped communicating with me. I finally had to leave and even when I urgently needed a reference to get a new flat, they flatly repeated that it takes a week to process over and over again.

GoogleRequired Hair and Son (Hayden Harle and Diane) to market an office to let. There service was very professional, they literally took the work from my hands and provided a tenant and then liaised with the solicitors, chasing when necessary, right through to the lease being signed and handing over of the keys. Looking forward to using their services again

GoogleWe cannot fault the service we received from Olivia and the leasing team at London Road branch of Hair & Son while renting our property. They were always prompt and faultless with their service. The only reason for 4 stars is purely their accounting team let them down with lack of communications and difficult to understand invoicing.

Throughout the years, the team has shown an excellent understanding of our requirements; when a vacancy does occur, it is normally filled within a very short space of time. In our experience, their service is the best available in Southend.
