If I could give zero I would and I'm…

If I could give zero I would and I'm only writing this review to get someone at Gilbert and Rose to deal with my issue. I wouldn't touch this company with the proverbial barge pole. Two years ago I decided to move house as my 25 year old son was suffering from mental health issues and had tried suicide twice. I talked to an agent from this company and explained the circumstances and that I needed to tread carefully with my son with regards to viewing etc as any disruption to his routine he found difficult. The agent was here for two hours ago I really thought he understood . Sadly my son did take his own life within a month and I contacted the agent explaining that I couldn't possibly move now. The last two years have been help. Fir the last six months I've had constant emails and calls from Gilbert and Rose the emails are all flowery saying let's chat prices have risen Yadda Yadda. I've had calls and each time I tell them I can't sell now or move. Last week I was in tears on the phone after the latest call and was promised I'd be taken off the list.. today another smarmy email with the usual rubbish. What do ineed to do to get them to leave me alone. In tears again tonight so taken to trustpilot maybe someone there with a modicum of sincerity at Gilbert and Rose might be checking their reviews and do something....

I can not express enough professionalism, support, and communication that I have had with Ed from Gilbert and Rose, Michelle and all the other team members that have contributed to my exchange and completion. We've used Gilbert & Rose to buy and sell properties for both our business and our personal property and cannot fault the team in any way. Professional, enthusiastic and friendly from start to finish, there's not one member of the team that isn't completely engaged with clients, even down to returning missed calls to check if the caller still needed assistance (a great touch). I'd recommend G+R to others. Everyone I spoke to was responsive, professional and easy to deal with. As a first time buyer, I was quite nervous and had loads of questions but they were always helpful and even chased for answers on my behalf. After completion, they checked up on me, too and asked if everything was ok. Out of all the flats I viewed, two were listed by G+R and I made an offer on one of them (which I subsequently bought obvs). It might just be coincidence but I thought they had the best flats in the best locations for me and at a price that I could afford. I can't really think of any flaws or issues tbh. When you pick up your keys, they gave me a gift box with teas, coffees and biscuits etc, which I thought was a lovely gesture. I'm on day 3 in my new flat and so far, am quite happy.

Very good professional service from 1st viewing to completion of sale. Sales progression team worked very hard liasing with vendor and solicitors , there were a few inevitable holdups with the legal process , but I was kept informed on a regular basis regarding the progress of the sale. I know the vendor paid the fees , but as a buyer I felt that Gilbert and Rose were working for me as well. At my age I don’t think I will be moving again, but if I were to move I would definitely use them.

I don't have the right words or short sentence to express how glad I am that I chose G&R. For reasons out of our control the move process was horrific made worse by my poor solicitor choice. If it wasn't for Ed and Michelle's hard work, effort and support over the best part of a year I've no doubt I would have either pulled out of the sale or the chain would have collapsed altogether. People, price & professionalism. I had been with another local, well known Estate Agency for 3 months but signed up with G&R after the 12 week contracted ended. Ed, from G&R came to meet with me and view my property and could not understand why it hadn't sold. He suggested we go with an open day, to generate interest and promised me that he would SELL my house and wouldn't give up until he did. The thing that G&R do differently, is that they conduct ALL the viewings themselves, to get a full understanding of what potential buyers love and what might be stopping them from buying. True to his word, Ed sold my house within 2 weeks, getting an offer on 2nd January. He achieved in 2 weeks (over the Christmas period), what the other agency had failed to achieve in 12 weeks. AND for less money. Michelle, Sales progreeser, was totally on the ball at all times. Driving through the Sale with a professional yet friendly approach. I have already recommended Gilbert & Rose to a friend who is struggling to sell his property through a different agent and will keep on at him, until he signs up with G&R, as everyone needs an Ed and Michelle in their corner.

What can I say .. I simply don’t know where to start. So we tried selling our house previously with no luck . Partly to do with previous agents and also the current market. October last year I contacted Gilbert and rose. Very friendly very responsive. They got Ed to call me much to my delight I’ve had Ed previously as my agent for a previous company he worked for. If you want to sell your house and get the best people to do it that actually care for their clients then Gilbert and rose are the best! Ed is absolutely amazing always on the other end of the phone when I needed him. Even on weekends and evenings nothing was ever a problem for him. Top man!! We are so happy we decided to sell our home with Gilbert & Rose this year, from beginning to end we were in such capable hands and everything went through without a hitch despite some bumps in the road. Ed was a brilliant estate agent, he was so professional and confident and convinced us to get the house on the market quickly and in return he sold it above asking price within four days! We then were looked after by Michelle who not only is a completely brilliant person, but helped us navigate the process AND pushed the entire chain to get us to the completion date we all needed.
