Professional service from start to finish

We had a very positive experience with Gilbert and Rose. The sales progression team were spot on throughout from our initial viewing to completion. Brennan was the first team member we met at the property and he was brilliant allowing us all the time we needed on our first viewing and again on subsequent visits. After the purchase hade been agreed Karen Summers took the lead. Both were amazing throughout the process with regular updates and support. Would highly recommend G&R.

Very friendly and efficient on appointment. Plenty of viewings and agreed sale after 4 months of coming to market. Christian Lister among others was very helpful at this stage and in his case later on in the process. The real star though was Emma Shirley in the progression team. The chain below us was a nightmare. Emma worked tirelessly chasing up and down the chain to make the sale and purchase happen. Without her it would not have. Huge thanks to Emma and the rest of the team for their hard work and support. I thoroughly recommend them.

Really happy with Gilbert & Rose…

Really happy with Gilbert & Rose overall and in particular Curtis and Leanne. Was selling the family home and Curtis took time to listen and explain everything to me and my elderly mum whose house was being sold. Once Sold STC Leanne took over sales progression and made the journey smooth and was ALWAYS available for my concerns/queries again understanding the needs of my Mum. Once sale finalised Curtis who did the initial valuation even took the time to congratulate on sale and check in on Mum and I which I thought was a lovely touch. Everyone I spoke to at Gilbert and Rose were polite and professional. Curtis and Leanne a big thank you from me, u both showed empathy to my mum and me at what can be a challenging time, thank you.

Buying a mobile home

I recently bought a mobile home through Gilbert & Rose and I cannot praise the staff enough. I would like to thank Jacob who showed us around a couple of mobile homes and the help he gave us and I would also like to thank Emma Shirley who dealt with the financial side of things and was fantastic with any queries I had and was always just a phone call away for anything I wasn’t sure of and nothing was ever too much for her, she is a very kind and considerate lady and I cannot thank her enough for everything she did for me to make the process as smooth as possible. Amazing service !

Straight from the start the service from this branch in Leigh on sea has been exceptional. Christian Lister was our viewing agent and he was so helpful, and friendly and knowledgeable about the property. Once the sale progressed we was then passed on to Leanne Warren who was just amazing. Very efficient through the whole process and I cannot fault the service. Gilbert & Rose have been a great help throughout our process so far of buying our first home. Lewis H was our negotiator who even when on annual leave helped us when we had an issue getting our survey report back, calling them and helping to chase it which had a massive impact. Katie is always so lovely when I speak to her on the phone at G&R even when I’m calling to ask silly questions! 🥲 Phoebe has also been a great help so far, keeping me updated with the sales process and helping to chase responses from the sellers solicitor which has also massively helped so far. I have used Gilbert and rose to purchase a house on Canvey Island. All staff have been lovely and professional. The 2 staff members that have really stood out to me are Oliver Cooper and Ryan. Oliver showed us around the house, he was courteous, professional and approachable. He didn't rush us and answered any questions we had. From viewing the house until now they have both been amazing chasing us on anything we need. Oliver is a trainee negiotiator so I was especially impressed with him. Where do I start? We opted to move to G&R after issues with a well known Canvey Island estate agent (also with a yellow sign), who struggled to follow the basics of selling. My wife and I had come across G&R after contacting them regularly about various houses we had seen for sale in Rayleigh. Out of all the estate agents we had spoken to, they were the most polite, approachable and responsive. When we decided to try a new agent, we decided to go with G&R based on our experience as a potential buyer. Fathom came round to explain everything to us and with her Essex charm - won us over and we signed on the dotted line. We were then assigned Amie who would be our sales agent, who put her heart and soul into selling our home. She was clear to potential buyers what our selling points were and even pulled potential buyers along who had not seen our property listed. Due to one of our rooms being an awkward shape, we had a lot of disappointment finding a buyer, but Amie kept positive and kept pushing, eventually finding the right buyers for us. Amie was a gem and she made our sale experience perfect. Once Amie's work was done, Phoebe then took over with sales progression and she really earnt her money with our exchange, because we did not have an easy time due to solicitor issues and various other issues. She was amazing, kept us fully informed and did not give misinformation or false hope like other estate agents were doing with their clients. G&R were somewhat more pricey than other estate agents in the area, however I really feel you are getting your monies worth here. Great onboarding, great sales rep and great sales progressor. Thank you G&R for being the one thing we could rely on in our sale!
